Placed a simple order for Mountain Top cross bars to fit my 2024 Ford Ranger, this mob were unable to fulfil this order and in the process lied to me on several occasions. Took 4 days to ship a stock item after paying next day delivery, no tracking information was provided. The cross bars shipped were the wrong items, took them 4 days to finally accept the issue and have them collected, they tried to claim the cross bars had a cosmetic change from the manufacturer. Was assured at the time that a refund was issued to my account even although I didn’t request a refund, I just wanted the cross bars that I had ordered. Repeated phone calls to ascertain refund status were met with usual “yes it has been issued”. After 6 days and no refund in my account tried to speak to a Customer Service Manager, apparently they don’t have such a person, even asked to speak with their Managing Director, he was “unavailable”. Eventually was informed that the refund had not been issued and had to wait a further 5 days for the refund. Was then promised they would investigate and offer me a discount on the correct bars. After a few days they claimed the original bars I ordered didn’t fit my vehicle and offered no resolution or discount. Obtained the bars from another company that sells Mountain Top accessories, they arrived the next day fully tracked and fitted in 30 minutes with no issues.

I wouldn’t even buy a washer from this mob, they would eventually ship a bolt and then claim it was a “cosmetic change”, use this company at your peril.

Had my money in November. Delivered a canopy a month later. Failed to deliver the brackets. Another three weeks for those. Meanwhile a £3500 canopy is sitting in the garage.
Then the roof rack was delayed. That was then due in February. Then it wasn't, then it was March. Four months after paying for it!
Avoid this place. Buy something else.

Good quality products, good value for money and fast delivery

I had a couple of minor issues with my truckman top over the past two years and on both occasions the Truckman team have always one above and beyond providing me with replacement items without fuss.

Paid upfront for a two hour fitting for bed rug and still waiting 4 hours later - they have not got the right size bed rug either so having to compromise. All in all wish I had not bothered.

Great customer service,easy to get to speak to someone, prompt responses to emails and questions.

I needed an urgent fitting date and Truckman were brilliant in accommodating me

Whilst looking through the online pages started to chat to the live online assistant…brilliantly helpful and made finding what I wanted even easier which was great as I live in Germany.,,
Since Brexit ordering from the UK is a nightmare…but the Truckman site showed / offered me the item minus UK vat and a very reasonable delivery price…The order was delivered to my door in Germany within three days of dispatch!! what more could you ask for….
Can’t say enough good thing about Truckman…who by the way had a genuine part that my local Toyota dealer could not get for my HiLux….

Truckman havent helped me once out of warrantee even with long term and continual reoccurring faults. just spent another £100 on the handle which is a lot of money for a cast metal handle
so some good alternatives that myself and others are looking at replacing top with. i expected it to last the life of the truck but dont think it will.

Truckman support have helped me out of a jam twice now with products they distribute for Mountain Top.
Technical knowledge provided, coupled with a swift response time was a great help in resolving the issues I was experiencing.

Had an issue with the locking mechanism quite a few months after fitting the truckman.
Contacted the customer service team and have had a very quick and informed response and resolution within hours.
Very grateful the service the aftersales team provided.

One of our vehicles was broken into which had damaged the roller-shutter and lock on the back of the truck. The roller-shutter had only been purchased in March 24. The customers services team upon calling and the after care team upon repair where extremely supportive and went out of their way to rectify this issue for us. Personal and non-replaceable tools were taken which caused upset due to the sentimental value of them and the staff were so lovely at what was a sad time so we wish to thank them all for their kindness. I recently bought a GLS canopy for my Toyota Hilux invincibleX and I have to say it’s amazing!! It fits perfectly, the colour matches spot on, it’s finished to a high standard and looks the part and finishes the truck off it’s looks amazing now. Thank you Truckman I would recommend anyone wanting to get a canopy to use Truckman you will not be disappointed the service was outstanding delivered within 2 days as well!

Having been back to Truckman (Dudley) twice this year for warranty work to re-attach the headlining on my Ford Ranger GLS Hardtop Canopy, I was both surprised and delighted that when it happened again, they offered to replace the complete hardtop for me. The team at Dudley are just amazing and I cannot fault them, their service or their products. Special mentions to Kelly who has always looked after me. As a company, we now have 7 Rangers and all of them have been fitted with Truckman products.
