The Velopad Sport 14er is a transformative experience. Drives like a car with incredible suspension. I took it through a country lane around the roughest area in terms of the pedestrian environment in my home city. The “Rafa terminator” performed like a dream!! Named after my dog/partner Rafael Nadal my walking companion this incredible Velopad is the freedom to go anywhere and everywhere at anytime. The term rollator or walker under sells its real value. Travel the roughest terrain with ease, and silence, no jingle noise to upset you or your friends or in my case Rafa in the middle of your adventures. It’s a worthwhile investment when you consider the freedom it delivers and the independence and dignity we all need. The customer care team were exemplary as well and responded to all concerns and questions. A big thanks to Johan and Stefan.

The concept, build and design of the Veloped Tour are of unsurpassed excellence, as is customer service. Meticulous, careful attention has been given to even the smallest detail and to the quality of the materials used. It is easy and quick to make adjustments to suit oneself and using the Veloped is a delight.

But, best of all, this Veloped enables me to walk again, comfortably, giving me the chance to go places I haven't been able to for many years. Magic!

I bought the 12 inch rollator. After a couple of months these are my observations.

Good.
1 The large wheels handle kerbs and bumps well.
2 The steering geometry works well compared with other rollators.

Bad.
1 The rollator is wide. This is not in itself a problem but; if you need to get through a narrow gap then partially folding it to get through plays havoc with the geometry of the front wheels and the rollator becomes difficult to handle, much more so than other rollators; the buttons that release the rear wheels stick out of the ends of the axles and catch vegetation, door frames and walls, causing me significant annoyance and frustration at such a poor design choice.
2 The rollator creaks horribly when negotiating ramps such as house driveways.
3 The brakes are difficult to engage in permanently engaged mode compared with other rollators and are particularly difficult if you have arthritic hands.
4 Access to the storage basket is partially obscured by the seat and the design of this is poor.
5 On delivery my walker arrived with a squeaking and binding brake which required a couple of spanners to fix. The necessary adjustment was not described in the user manual and the fact that the walker was delivered in this condition was very disappointing.

Overall I would not recommend this rollator at any price, but at the current price in the UK I would describe this 12 inch rollator as a very poor purchase, so look elsewhere.

Bought my trionic a year ago and use it regularly. I walk regularly in the new forest as I live nearby it gets me about well and enables me to rest when needed. I bought it on line which was a worry, but they rang me from Stockholm to check I had ordered correctly

Can’t believe that this walker has made such a difference to my life. I can walk over uneven ground, cobblestone paths and rough ground without needing to push any harder than on even terrain, thus avoiding painful arms and shoulders. The walker is really smart and sturdy in appearance and the seat is really useful. It gets lots of positive comments. I can now walk in my town much easier than previously. Many thanks to the Trionic team.

My brake pads came very quickly. I had asked my handyman, Derek, to deal with the pads for me.

He did a good job and I was thankful for it. I’m not able to walk for miles while taking my dog for a walk (maybe one mile) but, because I have my Veloped, it makes life a great deal easier.

I live deep in the countryside and, happily, have a paddock where I can exercise my dog if she feels we haven’t walked far enough that morning.

I love my Veloped!

This was the best investment I could have made for my wife. She is able to navigate the farm doing what she loves in the garden. The construction and design are exceptional. She is free to be herself again, which is great for a young independent woman with an unfortunate disability. Thank you Trionic team. - Gareth

I received my Veloped within a few days of ordering and since then my life has changed for the better. I am now able to walk short distances ANYWHERE. In fields of long grass, in woodlands with prominent roots etc, over cobbles in our town, up and down kerbs, up and down steep slopes thanks to the amazing disc brakes and so on. I used to have frequent falls in these environments but not with my Veloped (now named Idris, after the dragon). The fact that I can carry loads in the front basket or on the seat and Idris is still stable and easy to push. My friends must be sick of me raving about it. If you are thinking of getting one, DO IT! Your life will improve immensely.

Having suffered from a heart condition and Parkinson’s disease for some years freedom arrived in a box… returnable if not suitable… what more could I ask for.
The catalogue and videos on line helped my choice explaining exactly each items capabilities with the knowledge that I could contact the company for further advice.
I set up the machine as per instructions which I found relatively simple and decided to test it over a week or so on various surfaces from smooth tarmac to rough coastal walks.
Both my wife and I are each able to easily get the Veloped into our car… it’s very sturdy but light weight especially when the wheels are removed, simply done.
I feel totally safe at last without my sticks, wheelchair or at the very least a steadying arm when walking …
Upright at last ! This has not been possible for several years and I have the added ability to sit whenever and wherever necessary.
This is a quality machine , cleverly thought through and engineered, cannot fault it, I love it.

THANK YOU Trionic! My Veloped Sport has brought me back to being outdoors and walking with much greater ease, comfort and joy! I have Hereditary Spastic Paraparesis, with progressive spasticity in my legs, which has moved me from a former very happy long distance/marathon runner, to walking with walking poles. These worked for a while, however, my Veloped is everything you promise and more: I am walking with my head up, with assurance, I can even look up over my head and not fear for my balance, I walk further, and - when it is time to pause to see birds or stars or just watch, my seat is right with me! thank you -

Since turning 72 it was getting extremely difficult to attend air shows, races and take nature walks with my photo gear. I bought the Veloped so I could put a large camera bag in the front basket and have a place to sit when I got in position. It has worked very well and I’m sure the benefits will compound as time marches on.

I’m sure other new owners like me experience a learning curve with use, and for me it was the brakes. Unfortunately I went to the bike shop and $30.00 later I was worse off than when I started but with help and guidance from the Trionic people I was able to understand the process and complete the adjustments myself. The process is spelled out adequately in the instructions and I’m mechanically inclined but like most humans we tend to overthink and complicate the simplest of things. Don’t panic, take a deep breath and eMail support if you need to. They are there for you and more than willing to help.

I bought a bag to be able to take my beloved on aero planes. The bag is big and I will need help but it is good quality and will mean I can take my Veloped abroad. Customer service was very efficient

The 14er walker performed even better than expected.
It allowed me to go walking with my dog again .
Rough rocky trails with tree roots and even downed trees was not an issue. 15 to 30 degree slopes also not an issue. I am dealing with the issues from a stroke effecting musckle memory on my whole left side leg and arm. Also effected is balance. The 14er helps me overcome the effects of my stroke.

It’s so easy to use and great to walk with, it also keeps me upright. Apart from my husband it’s my best friend.
Service was excellent and also the follow up.

There is really only one thing to say about my Trionic Walker and that is FABULOUS. The design and engineering are just superb - you have thought of everything. My Trionic has absolutely changed my life I am getting stronger every day.

great for active exercise but it keeps getting flats have had to replace three tubes because of shallow thorns am ordering solid 14 inch tires do not need extra cushion of tube type tires hope trionic starts offering solid tires it beets pushing it back with flat tires

The veloped trek has allowed me to get back into the garden, see the plants, even prune an overgrown bush, hang out washing (exciting) and just experience my large backyard again. MS limits me in many ways so the ability to safely walk on grass and uneven surfaces without having to wrestle with a standard walker that gets stuck on the smallest obstacle is a joy. I’m looking forward to having the veloped on a beach holiday soon to see where it can take me!
