I purchased my Trionic Veloped to help with balance problems and pain in the lower back and hips. I noticed that pushing a shopping cart eased the pressure on my lower back and hips and my veloped does the same thing. I also did not want to be restricted to walking on sidewalks and in buildings, as other walkers do. And no more stupid tennis balls on the rear legs. I love it!

The device allows me to go anywhere I like within reason, and alleviates the pain in my lower back and hips. With the balance problem corrected, I can almost jog with this thing. You just shove the seat further forward and there's enough room for you to pick up your knees while fast walking or jogging.

The only people I would not recommend this for are individuals with limited hand strength. You need to be able to squeeze the hand brakes to slow yourself and stop.

One reviewer complained that it will not accommodate her short stature and plus size. I am 5' 4" and certainly not petite. I believe the upper weight limit is 330 lbs, and lower height limit is 4' 11". I think if that reviewer is under 4'11" or over 330 lbs she might want to investigate having a custom walker made.

I am truly amazed, wish I had bought this years ago. I am 46 year old male with MND (6 year in). This walker is brilliant, the build quality is exceptional, can see why they offer a 10-year warranty with this product. The ride quality is something else, like comparing a penny farthing with a modern-day mountain bike. Why suffer with solid tyres and flintstone type breaks on conventional walkers when this one is available? The look and feel of the product makes it worthy of something you’d cherish rather than the conventional granny walker you’d try to hide away.
All I can say, is those sitting on the fence whether to purchase this, spoil yourself and give it a try, you won’t go back, and if not satisfied can return it within 2 week.

Jag har grav artros i bägge vrister och uttänjda ledband. Redan för tre år sedan rekommenderade kirurgen steloperation och justering av ledband, men jag fann detta vara den sista absolut oundvikliga åtgärden. Dock blev hundpromenaderna kortare och kortare pga av smärtan och listorna på vad som borde göras på sta´n längre och längre och till slut insåg jag att här behövdes en åtgärd. Jag beslöt att införskaffa en rollator.
Jag snubblade av en slump över företaget TRIONIC och efter att ha gått igenom deras hemsida fram och baklänges var jag fast. Där var den, min hjälp i nöden, och jag tog mig till Uppsala och provgick företagets rollatorer och konfererade med fantastiske Stefan - ett under av tålamod och kunskap om sin produkt - och det hela utmynnade i ett köp av en Walker 12.
Jag har nu haft min Rolls Royce i omkring en månad den uppfyller alla mina förväntningar och mer därtill. Den känns inte som ett hjälpmedel utan snarare som en integrerad del av mig, en kroppsdel. Vi vänder på en femöring. Vi kryssar lätt i ett varuhus fullt med folk. Vi tar oss galant ombord på bussar. Vi åker tunnelbana utan problem och vi kan ta oss dit via rulltrapporna - vilket vi kanske inte borde - om hissen är ur funktion. Med sina luftdäck kan vi gå på knöliga gatstenar utan att störas och med en lätt hand på ena skivbromsen kan vi styra upp, så att vi går rakt fram även på trottoarer som sluttar ganska kraftigt ned mot gatan.
Mina benmuskler, som var i ett eländigt skick, har börjat återgå till en mer normal storlek. Jag har inte svullna vrister och rejält ont efter varje promenad. Jag känner att jag är tillbaka till ett liv, som jag trodde var borta för alltid. Jag är så glad att jag snubblade över TRIONIC och en produkt som är genomtänkt in i minsta detalj.

Spinal stenosis, broken back, hematoma on spinal cord, 4 spine surgeries and paralyzed for almost a year could not keep me down. This product has given me my life, I can hike, go camping, ride public transit and still get around on my own. Fits in my small car perfectly and also on a bike rack. I bought the Trionic Walker 14er in February 2018. At this writing, eight months later, I've taken it on 7 airline flights (check it at the gate), and visited Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic. This rubber tired machine is terrific on the cobblestones! The big wheels increase your range by allowing you to relax and walk without fighting the walker. (I have taken other trips with smaller walkers and the fatigue factor was very limiting.) Great in endless airport terminals too. Not to mention crooked sidewalks and unpaved walking paths.
Having the seat was an unexpected bonus. I realized I could spend more time looking at museum exhibits, or just sightseeing, because I could sit down. It gives you a longer day ‘out and about.’
And, it’s a workhorse! You can bounce around all day, but the big rubber tires absorb most of the bumps. It weighs 25 pounds, folds up to fit in a taxi trunk, with your luggage, and pops back up in a couple of seconds. Yes, I WOULD like a slightly larger basket, but this one works fine for smaller items.
I highly recommend the Trionic Walker 14er. Also, go with the cork grips, the cupholder and the cane holder for maximum comfort and usability.
This walker is perfect for your daily neighborhood walks, but it is GREAT to have while traveling. On these last few trips, I'm sure I added several miles to my walks and got to see a lot more with the Trionic.

Very disappointing. I haven't bought the walker because I can't .
Sad, but the company has no plans for a number of years to make a walker suitable for different body types. I know a number of people that would like to buy this walker, but the company will not make one suitable for, shorter plus size adults living with a disability.
They have made one
1.) For taller adults suitable for man or for a taller women.
They have made one
2.) For medium size women or medium size man
They are going to make one soon for children.
3.) One for children( in the works)
The company has customers begging the company to make another one for shortier plus size adults living with a disability. No matter how many times you ask they will not
make or sell one. Yesterday I received another email telling me they will not make or sell one for shorter plus size adults that really need a walker to try. and be active to be healthy and try to lose weight.
So disappointing to receive another email telling me they will not even try to make one for shorter plus size adults that are living in pain 24/7 365 days a year that need a great walker like the walkers this company makes. I feel they are leaving a huge number of people out.
😟😢 It's also discrimination for plus. size adults living with a disability and want and need to try to be healthy and more active.
I wish the company would offer a walker for the people that need it the most.

This Walkeris Suburb! I have had the Veloped for almost two months
Now, and LOVE IT so much! It climbs Curbs and almost anything. I take it on my walks regularly. Down Hills, up Hills, over tree stumps, Grass, Gravel, Curbs and it has no problems! Good Investment.It is well made/sturdy. Good tight Brakes. A little Larger than others however, exceeds all.(I havehad them all).

Due to Spinal Stenosis and nerve damage my balance is not good and have a tendency to fall a lot. I discovered the Trionic 3 years ago and have enjoyed walking my dogs on all sorts of terrain with no falls and have been able to enjoy the scenery instead of looking at me feet all the time.
I would recommend the Trionic Veloped to anyone who fears falling get out there and enjoy the exercise and fresh air.

I am a disabled lady with rheumatoid arthritis, with one weakened leg in particular. I used to love hiking and wildlife photograpy, but I thought those days were over until I bought a Veloped Trionic Trek walker. It has truly changed my life and I wouldn't be without it now. I used to struggle to walk along even smooth surfaces, but with the Veloped I walk along all kinds of rough trails, and I've used it extensively in the Scottish Highlands, where it has performed amazingly well. The large chunky wheels can cope with obstacles, the whole thing feels solid and stable and I feel really safe when leaning on it to catch my breath. Other walkers and rollators I have tried just felt too flimsy, but the Veloped is rock steady, yet glides along so easily. The built-in seat and carrier are also extremely useful. My little dogs love jumping into the carrier for a ride too! The company that makes them is Swedish, and when I have phoned the company for information, a lovely man named Stefan has been extremely helpful. All in all, an amazing product!

My Trionic Veloped and I have gone about 250 miles in the last 14 months. I'm a 69 year old stroke survivor. I wanted more than a standard rollator could deliver. I finally found Trionic and it's been a wonderful experience.

My life-long love of walking was brought to an end with knee problems; at best I could cover a mile using two crutches - no fun at all. Then I found the Veloped. Now I can join my friends and do a 3-mile walk while they do 5-6 and we meet for a pub lunch afterwards. My spirits have soared now I can return to walk in the countryside, and when my knees have had enough I can pull out the seat, enjoy the view and listen to the birdsong. It goes in the back of the car (without removing the wheels), I can take it on the bus and train, and have toured art galleries with it. It is already evident that my strength and endurance have improved.
As others have said, Stefan's advice was invaluable, as was the free-return policy which gave me the confidence to purchase unseen.

This is a really super rollator and I look forward to my daily outdoor sessions with it. It is so comfortable to use and the pneumatic tyres make obstacles very easy to overcome. My model has the option of two or one wheels at the front and this makes it easy to travel on rough and smooth surfaces. The front section is great for storing messages and the seating arrangement is just what one wants to watch the local rugby team in action. I suffer from chronic spondylosis and a broken hip and my Trionic Veloped makes life so very much easier. I thoroughly recommend it to both disabled and fit members of the community.

I found the help and advice given very honest and useful. Buying without seeing is always a concern but with the returns policy it made the decision much easier.
The delivery was as promised and the Trionic Veloped arrived safely in a very secure box.
Setting up the item was very easy as the instructions were very straightforward and easy to follow.
I have now used it on many occasions and i am very pleased with it. I am able to walk faster, safer and over a longer time frame than without it.
I have used it on bumpy meadows, shingle both large stones and smaller size, gravel, tarmac and cobbles. The larger wheels and the design works very well indeed across all these different types of terrain.
i am able to load it into the boot on my car with all the wheels detached and it collapses very easily.
I choose the single brake option which was fitted and set-uo for my right hand. This works quite well but i need two hands to apply the brake catch to its second setting to keep the wheels locked.
All in all the Trionic has given me a new extended period to explore outside in a much more relaxed way than it was beforehand.
Although it is expensive i feel it is well worth the investment.

I ordered my Trionic Veloped Trek on a Monday and it arrived in UK on Friday as promised. It is absolutely marvellous, sturdy and well engineered, easy to operate and copes with uneven terrain effortlessly. It has given me the freedom and confidence to explore the beautiful forests and beaches in the county where I live, and in 'urban' mode' I can explore the towns and cities too!

Growing up on a farm and loving nature it came somewhat as a blow 27 years ago that walking was no longer an option. Hip problems landed me, despite 2 operations, in a wheelchair.
Last year i got an artificial hip and since then i can walk small distances with a a rollator.

Ordered on a sunday it arrived the next wednesday. Easy assembly and of to the woods.
IMAGINE HOW THAT FEELS, AFTER SO MANY YEARS.

I'm a twenty six year old woman, born with mild to severe spastic tetraparesis (a "lighter" form of cerebral palsy). It affects both my hands and legs: despite years of physiotherapy, I was only able to walk arm in arm with a carer. I found out about Trionic through my long search for a rollator that would be able to support and help me lead an active lifestyle. From my very first inquiry to the shipment of my Veloped and beyond, Stefan was extremely helpful and explanatory about every question I had, answering promptly and clearly. My Veloped (a 14er Tour) fit my needs like a glove! It has managed to support my independent walking, without supervision, with all kinds of terrain. It's stylish, sturdy and easy to use: it has managed to overcome great obstacles with just the touch of my hand and responds immediately to every alteration of my gait. I bought two of the splendid Trionic walking aids for my partially disabled wife. The first was the 16er Trek model. The unique front wheel arrangement make it suitable for use on rough ground and easier to mount pavements. My wife even used it to go up a mountain track which was not possible with a more usual small wheel rollator with solid tyres.
I also bought her a 12er rollator for shopping and use in the town. This fits more easily in our car (Aventis Verso) without having to remove the wheels.
With these walking aids, my wife can walk further, faster and over rougher ground than she could previously.
Both Trionics were delivered 2-working days after placing the orders. They are well designed, sturdy, stable and comfortable to use. They may seem rather expensive but one has to pay for the best quality and service offered by Trionic. My wife is delighted with both of them.

I recently purchased a rollator walker 14 for my mother who has motor neurons disease and was coming to the stage of the disease where mobility becomes severely compromised. It is a most outstanding piece of equipment and has given my mother fantastic mobility. It is extraordinarily mobile and maneuverable and enables her to get out of the house to go for short walks safely. Where it really comes into its own though is indoors owing to its ability to maneuver so easily and providing an incredibly stable platform. It has truly given an old lady with an horrible disease a new lease of life and she just loves it. Well done to the designers and company who manufacture it, top marks.

I am a 78 years old, have osteoarthritis and have difficulty getting around. My doctors strongly advised me to exercise and to keep moving - not so easy on wobbly painful legs. I looked for a Walker that would help me do this and also one that had a seat. The Walker also had to have easy manoeuvrability because as the disease is also in my shoulders and arm joints I lack strength to lift or shift any appliance. Following much searching I found Trionic and studied their Brochure. There is a wide selection to suit all manner of lifestyles. The Rollator Walker 12er, with a 10 year guarantee, seemed the best fit for me.
The company staff were so incredibly helpful, giving clear advice as I had to order on line. Four days after I had placed the order my Walker was delivered. Four days from Sweden to the Uk. The Walker was well packed and protected. I presumed I would need to assemble part of it, but I didn't. The Walker was ready to use immediately. Just an easy adjustment to the height if the handles and then... freedom! I am so pleased with this product and highly recommend to anyone who needs a sturdily made Walker to help them enjoy the outdoors again. My young grandson summed it up: "Nice piece of kit grandma!"
This modal handles uneven surfaces very well indeed. It fits in the car boot if we want to go onto the Moors. I drive, the children lift it out, we all enjoy a stroll together. Wonderful.
