Great way to receive funds for honeymoon instead of physical gifts!

The service ended up being confusing for our guests. Only a single person used it. Since it serves as a "middle man' without providing any real benefit other than a wedding website, most people ignored it entirely. Nothing negative transpired, and we received funds for the one guest who used it (minus the fees we both paid to Traveler's Joy) quickly. No complaints, but nothing I could recommend, either.

Hands down the best way to do a wedding registry. Everyone who gave found it easy to do and gave us a personal note, and we have a great list for thank you notes. We were given some great ideas for our trip and travelers Joy helped us fund almost 100% of our honeymoon without doing some creepy money dance at the ceremony. 10/10 will use it the next time I get married.

My husband and I knew we did not want the traditional registry full of dishes, towels and household items. We live out of the US in a very small apartment and don’t have room for all of that. We found Traveler’s Joy while looking for alternative registries and we could not be happier. We love to travel and are very adventurous, so this was a perfect way for our friends and family help us create memories on our honeymoon.

The set-up was very simple and from what I’ve heard from our friends and family, the actual gifting part was as well! A nice feature of Traveler’s Joy is that they keep track of every gift and who gave it to you (which makes writing thank you notes all the easier!) The website is super user friendly and keeps all of your information organized and easily accessible. Redeeming our gifts was also a very easy process! We simply added our banking information and we had received the fund in 3-4 days.

We had a lot of fun creating this registry together and also enjoyed receiving emails every time someone gifted us an excursion or a specific gift towards our honeymoon. It made the wedding process all the more exciting. I can not recommend Traveler’s Joy enough if you are looking for an alternative registry. You will love it!

Easy to use and gave us travel inspo!

Traveler's Joy was a great service to use for our wedding registry. It also provided us with inspiration for what we should do on our trip.

The fact that it also keeps track of who you have thanked is very helpful.

Worked as intended but not foreign friendly, however Norwegian relatives were not able to use it. Love the thankyou card list it generates with contact info and names what they gave us

This site was easy to use setting up my registry and for guests accessing it. No problem with use to receive payments either. Love that you could mark off who had been thanked for gifts as well.

Fees are too high. We stared asking our friends and family to just Venmo is.

I would recommend this company to any one! It is a unique and creative way to ask essentially for money for wedding gifts for a couple like us who was already living together and had all the essential home goods we needed. I was a bit worried because we are Canadian - but once we claimed our items the cheque arrived to us in under 2 weeks. The site in and of itself is super easy to use as well. Highly recommend!

Loved this registry! We didn’t need a traditional registry so we opted for this one, it was great to see the messages our family and friends left as they purchased experiences for our honeymoon. It was easy to transfer the funds once we were ready to use them too.
