We're a small group of folks that started Traveler's Joy on a stoop in Brooklyn, NY in 2004. However, it all really started in 2003 with the serendipitous meeting of our founders at the first overnight hut of the Milford Track in New Zealand. Taking the company from a muddy hike on the South Island to the world's most popular honeymoon registry in a few short years required a lot of work. Luckily we have the best team in the world! I'm thankful for this site
I'm thankful for this site; it made planning for our wedding registry so much easier. We really didn't want to do a traditional registry so we set up this site and also had a honeymoon box at the reception. There is a very small fee for each transaction but I didn't mind since the set up, process and transferring the money was so simple. None of our guests seemed to have any issues and I like that you can put personal photos. I'd recommend travelers joy

Traveler’s Joy was such a pleasure to work with! They made my wedding experience that much better, and I truly recommend them to every wedding couple out there! Who knew creating your very own honey moon fund website could be so easy and fun?! We had full access to our money before our feet even hit that Hawaiian sand 😎🍹
We had invited 350 people from over 16 different states to our wedding. Traveler’s joy made it fast and easy for everyone to send gifts and well wishes, which was especially helpful for the many people who couldn’t travel to make it to the wedding. Transferring the money was also quick and easy and we had full access to our money before our feet even hit that Hawaiian sand 😎🍹

Exactly what we wanted
Their website was very easy to use and edit for our use. Our guests were able to contribute to our honeymoon in the fashion that they would like. When all was done, we only clicked a few buttons and the money was deposited right to us, no problems.

Travelers Joy was one of our best choices whilst wedding planning! We were able to pay for all of our excursions on our vacation, and our wedding guests LOVED being able to “participate” in our honeymoon.

Travel's Joy is so awesome! I was a little nervous but my friend used it and I trusted her, and I'm so glad I did. We got so much money for our trip and hardly any gifts of things that we really wouldn't have needed anyway.

I was a bit wary to see how much of a hassle it would be to withdraw funds gifted to our honeymoon registry, and a bit apprehensive about trusting a relatively unknown (to me) site with our gifts, but I had nothing to fear. Travelor's Joy was a huge asset to our wedding celebration.

Below is the full explanation of how much Traveler's Joy can cost but if any couple wants to avoid the fee, they simply have to accept check or cash.
Finally, the fee covers processing the credit card (which can cost us up to 3%), hosting, features, and services of your registry, phone support five days a week, twenty-four hour email support, and support for your wedding guests who wish to purchase a gift for you over the phone. The fee also allows us to pay our US based team a living wage, pay the rent, and keep the coffee flowing.

How much does it cost?
Gifts provided to you via cash or check are 100% FREE. For gifts given using a credit card, 2.95% is deducted from the gift amount. The gift giver is also charged 2.95% + $0.99 on checkout. These fees cover processing the credit card (which can cost us up to 3%), hosting, features, and services of your registry, phone support five days a week, twenty-four hour email support, and support for your wedding guests who wish to purchase a gift for you over the phone.
You also have the option to give all the credit card fees to the guest making ALL gifts 100% FREE for you to receive. From the same settings, you can also choose to have all fees deducted from the gift amount. This makes a gift cost guests just $0.99 to provide. It's totally up to you!
So straightforward and fully customizable!
I was a bit unsure how a travel registry works, but Traveler’s Joy made it so easy. I decided to go with a registry rather than a “wishing well” or outright asking for money because it felt far less tacky, and also allowed our guests to appreciate the amazing experiences we’d be putting out money towards. We had a fantastic honeymoon in Hawaii and Traveler’s Joy is in no little part responsible for that.
