We used Traveler's Joy to help us fund our honeymoon. I liked the registry aspect and how it separates monetary gifts into different excursions and experiences. Great way to nicely ask for money as a wedding gift!

Overall, this was a unique website and way to go about choosing how to approach the “just wanting money as a gift for the wedding” situation. People like to know their money is going towards something meaningful and by choosing different activities I really think that it felt like that to them and it sure was to us! Everyone especially liked how we were able to customize it to our own trip.

I loved using Traveler's Joy as an option for my guests. We only asked for honeymoon fund donations and didn't have any specific items that we requested be paid for. It worked wonders. Guests gave what they felt they wanted to give without the pressure of buying specific gifts that do not match their price range. Retrieving the funds was so simple and the check was sent quickly. I was very pleased.

We loved Travelers Joy!! We looked at several other honeymoon registries but we were really happy with our choice!

It’s an easy platform to use, but the amount of the funds they keep from every transaction may not be worth it. While it’s a good concept and worked well for us, I’d be apt to have people just cut a check. I didn’t think the fee that comes out of each gift was made abundantly clear to me when I signed up. Retrieving funds was pretty straightforward which I liked.

Traveler's Joy is easy to use and our guest and family had no problem navigating the site as well. They loved the option to send the travel cards with their gift. I had a little trouble setting up at first as our honeymoon wasn't in the list they provided (we did the Bourbon trail) but I found that issue other similar sites. Transferring the funds was easy as well.

My wife and I had an excellent experience using Traveler's Joy for our honeymoon registry. It helpfully suggests many common gifts for a particular location but you can also customize your own gifts with your own photos & descriptions. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

Travel joy was easy to use, we loved receiving the immediate notifications when we received gifts and that were able to transfer gifts to our bank account when we were out of the country on our honeymoon. We highly recommend using this site.

Easy to select destination and easy access to money. I wish that you did not have to wait three to five days adn that the fees were lower. Overall a great site! I liked that you can personalize the page, add photos. It was also a great way for people to give you a gift from afar.

We had a great experience using Travelers Joy. It was easy to build and easy for a friends and family to use. The fees were clearly disclosed and transferring with simple. We’re now planning our three week honeymoon to Patagonia without spending a dime of our own money. Amazing!

Travelor's Joy was the perfect registry for our wedding celebration. It created more unique and fun registry items for our friends and family to contribute to, and needless to say, our Honeymoon was spectacular! The added bonus with Travelor's joy was that it spit out the list of contributors which made it easy for my husband and I to thank everyone uniquely for their gifts. Thank you Travelor's Joy!!

Traveler's Joy was a perfect way to show off our honeymoon and have our guests contribute to it! It was a lot of fun to make and we received a lot of compliments about the website. People kept saying how a cool idea it was! Only reason it didn't receive a full 5 stars was due to the fees that are taken out of the gifts (I get that it needs to be done, but kind of inconvenient).

Great site, easy to use

Traveler's Joy is very user-friendly, we were able to get our registry up and looking good in less time than we thought.

Cons:
- We were worried that our guests would be confused when navigating the website. The only thing that did confuse people is they thought they had to purchase the entire quantity of each item or gift. As long as you explain this on your site, it should help clarify things.

- We also were unable to revise quantities or price breaks on items once a portion of a gift has been purchased. No workaround for this one.

Pros: Aside from those two things, the registry worked great!
- We received a ton of compliments from people who thought the honeymoon registry was very cool!
- A majority of our gifts were fulfilled and we are thrilled to be able to plan our dream trip thanks to this honeymoon registry!
- There is a fee, but you are able to choose how to disperse the fee. You can tackle the fee entirely, let your guests pay for the fee, or split it 50/50 with them.
- The ability for guests to choose pre-selected options but also the option to gift any amount is awesome.
- Custom URL feature lets you choose what you want your URL registry to be. We did AV2019 (our initials and wedding year) so our URL was very easy to remember and easy to share!
- Traveler's Joy website is easily linked to The Knot so if you have a Knot wedding website, the two can be linked together.
- Gift funds were easily transferred over to PayPal but there are other transfer options as well.

Overall, we are very happy with our choice in using Traveler's Joy and are planning to take our trip soon!

Super easy to redeem gifts, fill our registry out, and much better for guests to give this instead of another blender for the counter space we don't have!

This website makes it easy for guests to purchase experiences for you, and you receive your money quickly. We had a great experience with traveler's joy, and we highly recommend it! :)
