An excellent company
An excellent company. We bought a stairlift from them. We were in contact by phone, a representative called, and the fitters came to put the stairlift in. Everyone we dealt with was polite, informative and helpful. They did everything they said they'd do, when they said they'd do it. Thoroughly recommended.

Arrived on time/professional
Arrived on time, work was clean and Conner the engineer was polite and very helpful. He was very patient with my wife when explaining the workings of the stairlift and didn't leave until she was happy.

I have to be honest I am very disappointed with this company.My wife's Through Floor lift was installed on the 11.07.18. During the time from then to 16.04.25 the lift has had 2 major repairs it was never explained why the repairs were needed, as I asked wether it was a design fault or an installation error.
The lift was bought and installed with the help of a grant and came with a 5 year warranty, so I was not financially effected. After the 5 year I purchased a service plan for each year . One of the years that I paid for they did not even turn up to service , although when I pointed this out I did receive the following year free, but surley that is not the point.
During the last service a problem was identified and the engineer assured me that he would report the fault and a repair would be booked , but I would have to pay which is fair enough.
An appointment was made and the engineer turned up to what I thought was to repair , but he informed me he was just assesing the repair etc and a follow up visit would be booked then to add insult to injury I was charged £80 for the call out , even though the service engineer had already identified it.
Fair enough the repair was fixed to which I paid the 2 separate bills
Sadly my wife has now passed so when I rang to pay the invoice. I informed the person on the phone and he didn't even acknowledge what I had said but was only interested in me paying the invoice, very cold and inconsiderate I thought.
I then asked if the could give me a quote to removing the lift , I was informed because the lift was 7 years old they weren't interested. I then asked if they could just price to remove the lift and I would be responsible for getting a contractor to make good the floor and ceiling, again they were not interested , I then asked if they could recommend a contractor they said they wouldn't or couldn't.
Very disappointed infact disgusted in the after care of this company and would definitely not recommend it.

We take your comments seriously and have reviewed the full history of your lift and our recent communications with you. Your Through Floor Lift was installed in 2018 under a grant scheme, and it came with a five-year warranty. Following this, you opted for annual service plans, and we’re grateful you continued to trust us with its upkeep.
Regarding the missed service during the COVID period, we acknowledge this and, as you mentioned, we acted quickly to provide the following year’s service at no additional cost to you. We’re sorry for the inconvenience this caused.
In terms of the more recent repair visits, our records show that the service engineer identified the need for further investigation, which required a senior engineer to assess the issue fully. This follow-up was necessary to ensure we diagnosed and resolved the fault correctly. We then sourced the required part and completed the repair, returning the lift to full working order.
We also understand your frustration regarding the call-out charge. While we appreciate it may have felt unnecessary, our engineers are required to follow specific protocols to assess and repair equipment safely and thoroughly - especially after several years of wear and tear.
With regard to the removal of the lift, we are unable to carry out this type of work or recommend third-party contractors, as it involves significant structural and electrical considerations. This is to avoid any risk to you or others, and we always advise speaking with your local council in cases where the original installation was grant-funded.
Lastly, we're sorry to hear you felt the tone of our phone call was cold. Having reviewed the call, we can confirm our team member responded with empathy and professionalism, but we appreciate that in sensitive moments, tone and timing can matter greatly, and we regret if this part of the call did not feel as supportive as it should have.
