Nadat ik eerst via de mail wat informatie had gevraagd kreeg ik heel snel reactie met antwoord op mijn vragen. Daarna een esim gekocht. Afhandeling verliep probleemloos en de esim werkt prima. Ik stond versteld van de goede, open en snelle communicatie met hun helpdesk. Wat mij betreft is Tiekom een echte aanrader!

We needed a SIM for our motorhome router, for travelling in the EU. Almost all the UK providers seem to have a bogus "fair use" policy that limits data in the EU to 25GB, regardless of your UK data plan (another Brexit benefit, LOL). We travel with our son, who is a very heavy user of data, and 25GB wouldn't last him two days.

After some research, we went with Tiekom, a Spanish provider. I guess they are targeting expatriates living in Spain, as the plan is structured as 400GB a month in Spain, with up to 200GB of that allowance available in the rest of Europe (including the UK).

Their customer service is brilliant. The SIM (plus a spare) arrived by mail from Spain in only six days and the Tiekom admin team have been really helpful, responding to emails in a day with personalised answers to queries. It is such a refreshing change from dealing with AI bots with UK providers.

The 5G SIM and router work brilliantly and we could watch movies, etc on our laptops and iPads. I am slightly unclear when the data refreshes. When I asked the Tiekom team, they said it renewed on the 18th of each month, but there is a counter on our router that shows cumulative usage and it reset to zero on 1 April.

As it was, we used 257GB in France and Spain in March and another 38GB on the way home in April. I am very impressed. The only thing I wish they offered was either an unlimited data account, or the chance to buy more data fi you run out.

I used a 400gb europe data only esim with 400gb for 30 days in spain and max 200 gb roaming in most eu countries.
I had the esim loaded on a 5ber esim card. Sim loaded on my android phone and after loading inserted in my huawei B818-263 mifi router for use in my camper.
Initially during ordering i acidentaly ordered 2 off esims. After a email Tiecom only activated one of the esims. The esim payment from my credit card was done a few days after a working esim.
Comunication with Tiecom was verry easy and cancelation of 2nd esim was no problem. I was very please with my first experience with an esim from Tiekom. The esim worked for the full mount of data on high speed. The speed is high and suitable for iptv in our Camper.

Started with Tiekom last year as the travel sim in my Motorhome Router wifi. It worked well, so I kept the card suspended over the winter and have started again this month.
Had a problem trying to engage any internet in France and sent a request for support. Response in 1 hour was excellent, and problem solved.

Couldn’t recommend these guys more. Received SIM card in the post, along with a backup Sim in case of any issues. Camino in the customer services team was great and helped me set up on my phone and again responded quickly with assistance when I had an issue with the network provider in France. Data coverage was great and 100% worth the money, the fact that you can easily stop and start your subscription is a fab feature and these will be my go-to supplier from now on. Try them, you won’t be disappointed.

I have benefitted from Tiekom's internet service (SIM card) for several years. I require a connection infrequently - just when I'm in Fuerteventura.

Camino has always responded to my questions in super quick time (even when she's on "holiday"). When I've had technical questions, Guiller has always provided comprehensive answers.

Camino is brilliant. I know that she will ensure that my service is turned on (& off) exactly when I want.

Great service from start to finish. Ordered a 400gb roaming sim which arrived 1 week later even though it was Spanish holidays. Sim activated and worked as planned in UK, now working fine in france and tomorrow should work in Spain.

In my experience Tiekom reacts fast on my emails. Starting and stopping the service of 300G data works very well. Very usefull since we live on board of a boat for only 4 month and have our own wifi-network on board. It works well in Spain and Sardinië sofar.

I moved to Benajarafe (Malaga) in Sept 2023. Tiekom provided 5G internet via a home modem at my apartment. They also provided two SIMs for mobiles.

Their written terms confirmed portability for the mobile numbers if I switched to another provider. Please note the terms specified on their website.

I have now switched all my services to Movistar at my new address but Tiekom refuses to port the two mobile numbers.

This means I must change my established mobile numbers which are well known to all my contacts.

Tiekom has breached the terms as referenced above

Terrible customer service!! Having been a loyal customer for several years, I attempted to get my fibre broadband for my holiday apartment in Fuerteventura upgraded to a cheaper and faster service. I started the process in June 2023. I assumed the upgrade would be done remotely as I already had 50Mbps fibre - but I was told no - an engineer had to visit. That meant waiting until I was next there. So with 20 days left before my visit to Fuerteventura I emailed and asked for the order to be re-started. They responded quickly acknowledging the dates of my 2 week visit and said they would organise the engineer visit. With 5 days to go I emailed again as I had heard nothing. They responded that they have just “opened a claim to the engineering department. Well no problem their website says “We’re fast! Within a maximum of 4 business days we will call you to make an
appointment with the technician.”
The day of my arrival I emailed again and they finally came back with and appointment 12-3 18th Oct. So I duly wait in on that day. At 3pm - no sign of an engineer - so I phoned them and someone said they would check and call me back. Of course they never did. I have emailed several times since and not a squeak out of them, nor any engineers - what a way to treat loyal customers ! I looking for another supplier now.

Generally the mobile Internet service I get from Tiekom (which is nothing but a Movistar MVNO) is good. Rarely there are issues the Internet is not working and least in the country I'm currently roaming the allow me to connect to both radio networks available. However there are a few things that are really putting me off:

1) You cannot check your data usage in any possible way on your Data SIM - via their website, USSD, SIM Toolkit app, application of their own, nothing. You need to open a ticket with service desk every time you want to find your usage which is super annoying. I also got a written confirmation from them they have absolutely no plans to fix this madness.
2) The data usage is reset on 18th each month. Yet, you have a pre-paid service that you pay from the first till the last day of the month. Nobody cared to explain to me how this nonsense works despite numerous e-mails sent.
3) Their website looks like an unsuccessful high-school project abandoned in the middle of the semester. If some company pretends to be a telco they need to invest some money in their outlook and connect their billing and provisioning system to their website so that at least BASIC functions can be performed without opening tickets.
4) They recently started filtering sport streaming websites like livetv.sx and all its derivatives by redirecting the unencrypted web traffic towards a list of hardcoded IPs to a sinkhole server of theirs returning the following error:

HTTP 451 – File unavailable For Legal Reasons

If you try the TLS-encrypted version you get:

ERR_CONNECTION_RESET

(This is because they cannot intercept the SSL traffic but there are certainly better ways to handle this and display a proper error message).

It took me some time to realize this and I call BS on it. While I'm not stupid and I know how to bypass such amateur filtering techniques I'm kinda getting pissed by this cat and mouse game so I'm swapping them with another mobile service provider.

Everything works fine and the staff are vastly easier to deal with than the nightmares we had with Telefonica. One other big plus was somehow the fibre optic cable got severed where the garden borders the Camino and they came out and fixed it speedily and had us up and running again in a day or two. I can’t fault them frankly and am looking to switch the mobiles to them as well.

Great while it lasted! I had 300GB EU data plan, but this only lasted 2 month. They just randomly cut me off and ignore my email and as I found out now they no longer offer the no cap roaming data package... This caused massive issue for me since I work on the road. They only gave 3 day notice as I can see now from the email.
