Initial valuation and advice was both sensible and realistic leading to a buyer within two weeks of marketing the property. This is in stark contrast to other similar properties in the road hanging around for months due to being too expensive. Post sale Liz in the progression team provided clear feedback and was excellent and supportive in seeing the sale completed. Overall a great experience and a company I would both recommend and use again.

We've recognised that Thomas Brown has the best selection of properties in Orpington and went with it to purchase our first home. Our experience buying our first home with Thomas Brown has been great. From the very first viewings they were punctual, extremely friendly, and made effort to not only discuss the house but also their own personal experiences of the surrounding area. Throughout the conveyancing process our contact (Liz) was great at keeping us up to date with everything happening and we appreciated that she made the effort to speak to us on the phone instead of just over emails. Even small things like them congratulating us once exchange had taken place is a lovely touch. Overall, we've managed to reach exchange on our purchase in quite a timely period, aligning with our original agreed dates. Even when we had a delay due to a break in the chain they were proactive at helping us to resolve it and being transparent.

We received an offer we accepted in about 14 days. From there Liz in sales progression took over. Liz from Thomas Brown has been very helpful since day one, keeping us updated and moving the process along. We are first time buyers and Liz ensured to give us plenty of information along the way. We had to work to move by a specific date and Liz has worked hard to help us on this.

We were kept updated on the progress of the sale on a regular basis, which was very reassuring. All technical matters, including the questions asked by the solicitors were explained to us and at times the buyer was contacted directly when the solicitors asked questions which seemed unnecessary.
Thomas Brown Estates looked after us when a failed buyer, who had tried lowering the price well below that offered at the last minute, realised he had made a serious mistake and started to seriously pester us.
We ended up achieving the full asking price and the offer from our successful buyer was made and accepted the day the property went back on the market.

The team at Thomas Brown kept us updated throughout the sale of our home and Liz's help and expertise kept everything on track once we had an offer in place which was invaluable for our peace of mind.
