Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Rude and unprofessional responses. Very disappointed. Also, they advertise products they can't offer since they are out of stock and they don't restock. Pointless advertisement.

I am sorry to hear you feel this way. I’d just like to point out that we are a small business and having people like yourself reviewing us in this way because we do not have stock of an item is really not very nice.
We work hard to run this business and always try to be honest with our customers on time lines but sometimes things occur or go wrong and we can’t promise things. My communication to you was not at all rude, I was trying to explain why the stock wasn’t here yet.

You must have a problem if you see there is nothing wrong with the way you approach customers via email.
First of all, you should have apologised in the beginning for not meeting customer's expectations regarding stock availability instead of just saying it is out of your hands. Secondly, you should have said that you were going to contact me directly as soon as you had news or as soon as the stock arrived (and perhaps ask me what item in particular I was after). Instead, you replied: once they are here, they will be available. Again, taking zero responsibility and zero interest in customer service, which is unprofessional and rude in approach and certainly detrimental for the development of any business regardless of its size. I will certainly reply on Trustpilot with your answers to prove my point.

We bought some lovely bar stools. Unfortunately they weren't right for us (Too Big) and we had to return them.
The return was made very easy, and we received great customer service. It's when you have a problem that a company shows how good they are and The Rattan Company were absolutely great.

Quality product, superb service
Absolutely delighted with the product - even nicer than it looked on the photos. Quality is excellent and very sturdy and well made. Service excellent two - arrived a couple of days after I placed the order and communication was great about when the parcel would arrive on tge day. Very happy and would definitely recommend this company.

Great Customer Service Experience
I ordered a moses basket a while back and then ordered some extra fitted sheets for it shortly before Christmas. I ordered four extra sheets but as these arrived shortly before the holidays, I didn't open the individual pouches until I was ready to wash them after Christmas day.
When I did so, I realised I only received one sheet whilst I had ordered four. I contacted customer service and, in all honesty, I wasn't expecting much of a reply as it had already been about 10 days from the delivery and I should have checked this earlier.
I was pleasantly surprised when I got an email from Lucinda at customer service giving me a DPD tracking number saying the other three fitted sheets were on their way. These arrived promptly today.
It's hard to find companies out there with such good customer service and prompt response, and the quality of the product itself is excellent.
I would definitely recommend them to other mums-to-be!

I was very Happy with my Natural Rattan…
I was very Happy with my Natural Rattan shade and was pleased with the quality so decided to order one with the Aqua trim, the shade arrived very promptly, unfortunately for some reason I am struggling to fit it onto my ceiling rose attachment, though I had no trouble with 1st order. The contact phone number on the website is unfortunately incorrect, but I received an alternative number to call following my email to the company, I was advised that it is likely my ceiling rose fitting is likely the issue? I have an electrician coming to
see to check my ceiling rose fitting and cause of issue, as I am totally flumoxed as to why I had no problem with fitting my first shade. It would be helpful if the contact phone number on the website could be resolved in order to improve communication.
