Size up small
Ordered 3 dresses, which arrived today. They look well made & are lined & great colours. Unfortunately the sizing is too small for me - I am a standard M&S size 10, but these size 10 dresses were definitely too small (tight on the upper arms and could not do up the zips). I’ll try the size 12, but advise sizing up.

The dress was indeed very pretty but too large for me. I returned it two weeks ago and never heard back and also did not receive a refund … glad I did not order more than one dress to try and will not order again.
Update: I received the refund now. So for the dress I will rate it 5 stars.

Not good for plus sizes, pay to return
The dress looked fantastic on the website.
Sadly, they don't seem to know how to scale up their patterns to bigger sizes.
I ordered a size 18 and the dress was almost a completely different dress to the one pictured on the website in terms of cut.
They just increased all measurements of the pattern without making adjustments for real bigger bodies.
This meant the folds of the skirt in the back ended up in a really awkward low place, sticking out in a way that made me look like a pantomime dame or like I was wearing a padded bum underskirt of the Victorian age.
The bust was also bad, with the darts being both way too low and way too far apart, making me look like a square. It looks like they expect bigger women to have their boobs on bottom outside of their ribcage.
Very disappointing for something that is £140 and supposedly of superior quality.
Sadly this is all too common with online brands who offer bigger sizes. You can't just scale up the pattern, people don't put weight on in all directions like a ball.
If you don't know how to do plus sizes correctly, don't offer them.
The fabric is weighty which makes it feel high quality, but when you actually try the dress on, you realise you can only wear the dresses in winter as the fabric is not breathable at all, and you would get very hot very quickly in warmer weather due you the thickness.
On top of this, they do not offer free returns, you have to pay your own postage.
And because the dress is weighty and arrives in a big cardboard box, the return cost me £8.
Just overall not a great experience.
I don't doubt they are trying to deliver a high quality experience, but the attention to detail is just not there.
I would not order again and I could not in good faith recommend this website to anyone who isn't a slim person looking for a dress for a winter occasion, and is prepared to fork out for a return.
This is 2025, there are plenty of other suppliers who are competent at sizing and offer free returns.

Fab pretty dress!
Prompt delivery of a lovely, weighted fabric dress. Pretty shape and great fitting. My only issue and it is a personal one due to disability and not of any detriment to the dress, is might be a struggle getting zip over the quality waist area hence my suggestion that a zip pull with a small hole in it to put a ribbon or string through to help someone with a disability pull up the zip. I would be ordering more if we could get around this problem for me but I must reiterate no detriment to the company or quality of a great dress. I loved the packaging and prompt response with customer service.

Outstanding company
Fell in love with Ava in cobolt blue. I emailed to ask if it was coming back into stock, unfortunately it had been discontinued. However I was told they could make this dress as a special order for me.
Thrilled to bits. Two weeks later I have my dress and it fits like a glove. Over the moon with the colour, style, cut & quality of the dress. Customer service was outstanding. I would highly recommend. Can’t wait to wear this to my daughter’s wedding in three weeks.

Fantastic service!
They were very quick to respond to all my questions and also I asked to have the dresses expedited although one is on backorder. I totally understand, but they did expedite one of the two dresses and it was an absolute pleasure to deal with. The quality was Even better than what I expected. It’s a beautiful dress, for my wife, not for me!
