Want to say what great customer service I experienced from Allan in dealing with a recent order - a birthday present for my daughter. This is the 2nd time I have made a purchase with the company. I made this order quite late at night on the 22nd February, and ended up ordering the wrong size Tree Fern - completely my error. I emailed directly after ordering, Allan responded that night and the next day, and agreed he would adjust the order and reimburse the difference. Within days everything agreed had been done, and delivery made a few days later directly to my daughter. Thank you again Allan for your great service. Will definitely ordering again from you.

I did my research , searched online and local suppliers as I knew exactly what I wanted and how much I roughly wanted to pay , The Palm Tree Company although not the cheapest online but certainly cheaper than any Garden Centre or Wholesale Company , seemed to be offering a very good deal for a Dicksonia Tree Fern 1ft for around £70.00 but I decided to go for the 2ft and pay £130 (give or take 5p) and WOW is all I can say , what a fabulous fern , delivered with Care straight to my Garden and much bigger than I expected , had a text to tell me when , and Sean was so helpful . I am still researching , getting the correct soil , plant food and making sure it is kept watered , then I will wrap it for the winter . Thank You Palm Tree Company , one very satisfied customer and I was so pleased with the Tree Fern that was delivered , I hope I live up to its expectations !

Ordered a palm on a Friday and delivered on a Tuesday. Fabulous 5’ Cordyline.

Excellent service! A company that will actually deliver to the north of Scotland, and does, as it advertises, deliver for free to mainland UK (too many times have got to delivery options with other companies and found they don’t consider Inverness to be part of mainland UK🤔). Citrus Caviar tree I ordered arrived in great condition and fruit already appearing. Will definitely be recommending The Palm Tree Company, and ordering again.

Simply the best great company with great staff and palms one of the best in the uk fast free delivery trustworthy and punctual wouldn't go anywhere else have been buying plants from these guys for years highly recommend if you love your palms and exotics Chris/allan/Sean will look after you. 5 stars would give 6 stars if it was possible you can't beat these guys.

Over three years. I have purchased 12 Dicksonia Antarctica tree ferns from this company in the first year. One had very poor fronds and the next year it died despite me wrapping it with fleece protecting the crown watering it when it needed watering (every day in the summer) fertilising despite the fact that some argue they don't need fertilising the plant died . Chris from the Palm Tree Company said because they were a few fronds in the first year he couldn't replace it. He said if there were never any fronds he could have. Others that came in that batch were fine and I showed him pictures of these.

I ordered some last winter In November and protected them. They never had fronds and this year one of them has not produced any fronds at all. Despite me protecting it, watering it, feeding it and it being a few meters away from others that have done well. The problem is this time Chris said it's been a really harsh winter so there's nothing we can do. His earlier argument was the year before because they were in green he can't replace them This time, even though they weren't in green and never have been he's saying it's a harsh winter. My feeling is that the plants were never going to do well , this is over £1200 worth of plants, but he's not willing to replace so he changes his tune accordingly. The tree ferns are a good price but not when you lose 2 out of 12 that I have and another two are performing badly. As I say I'm an experienced gardener all had the same treatment all are within 10 m of each other, but the guy doesn't want know. I think that tells you all you need to know about this company shocking service and I hope they go under. Don't buy from them. They're only interested in your money. Even the delivery driver said he's left to move these huge tree ferns on his own and if I hadn't helped him I don't know what he would've done. Very slippery company. If he writes a response to this ignore it as he knows what the truth is.

Still, I should’ve known they are based in Yorkshire God’s country. Apparently. How embarrassing

I ordered an old olive which was a challenge to move down a passageway to my back garden. The Palm Tree delivery driver was an absolute star and helped us to wrestle this tree for almost 2 hours to get it in the back garden. What a service!! No other delivery driver would have done that. I would fully recommend this company, the tree is beautiful and healthy and this company's service goes more than an extra mile.

I ordered a 6ft tree fern on thurs and it was delivered on the Sunday. The company called me to arrange delivery and on the day, the friendly delivery man (Luke) texted me to let me know he was an hour away. He arrived on time and very kindly carried the tree fern down to the bottom of the garden and helped me lift it into the pre-dug hole. This service and help was exceptional and different from other online specialist I have previously used.

The tree fern itself was in excellent condition, it was larger than the 6ft ordered which has allowed it to be planted a little deeper. It is also alarger in diameter than others seen elsewhere. I am very happy and will it and certainly will use this company again (especially with delivery so good and free!)

I have wanted an old olive tree for years and finally found exactly what I had been looking for with The Palm Tree Company. They had a great range of different sizes and, after a discussion with the ever helpful and patient Allan, ordered a Gnarled Mini Bonsai version (although at 7 foot tall it's not so mini!) We arranged delivery for when we returned from holiday and it arrived 2 days ago (delivery was free). The chap who delivered it was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and helped my husband to move it down to its new home in our garden. They also left us some olive tree food to get us started. The tree is magnificent and Allan tells me it's probably between 2-300 years old! I cannot recommend this company more highly. Thanks all.

I’m delighted with the blood orange tree I purchased. This is a fantastic find of a company offering really exciting mature specimens that aren’t available anywhere else online. I can see that there is a passion here for getting access to great plants - I enjoyed seeing all the proper pictures on the websites of plants seen on what must be site visits to specialist growers in Europe. Quite a contrast with most companies who put a generic picture up offering no particular insight into the quality and size of plant being bought.
The ordering process was great - dealing with excellent people. Delivery (which is included in the price I paid which was fantastic) was equally a pleasure. And the icing on the cake was that my orange tree was in blossom and when I opened the door to the delivery driver, a fantastic smell hit me!

I shall be back for more of your great plants. Can’t recommend enough.

I had recently purchased for the first time late last year a Dragons Blood Tree from the Palm Tree Company, And was really impressed with the specimen that was delivered, Was really healthy and couldn't have been happier with my new addition, In January I decided to invest in an Olive tree (Open Crown) so the first company that came to mind was the Palm Tree Company, I paid in January knowing stock was being delivered in spring, 3 months later and the wait was well worth It. The Olive Tree supplied was another stunning example of the quality from the Palm Tree Company, I love that it had a double trunk, but it was the quality of the plant that once again I was impressed with. Thank you to Chris and the Team for the 5 star service, I will definitely be ordering from you again in the future, If I could add photo's to my review I would but It doesn't seem an option, shame as you be able to see the stunning trees I Bought.

Great customer service, fast delivery and a great product/plant. I have been wanting one for some time .

The only reason why I've given them two stars is because the delivery was very quick and all the emails responded to within a day or two. However, the plants itself and the fact they have disregarded their "guarantee" made the experience not so great.
We ordered two large in size cordylines last year. Immediately upon the delivery, I pointed to the driver that the second plant was much smaller than the first one and also had a lot of yellow leaves and marks all over some other leaves. It didn't look very healthy. However, the driver had reassured me, that if there is any problem with the plant, I should contact them and they can replace it due to the "guarantees" they operate. Over the course of the following few weeks/months the plant got worse and worse, while the other one was still looking great. Despite my contacts with the company, sending them pictures and following all the advice they have given me, the plant never had got better. They have used every possible excuse to not to replace it. The plant has since died, while the other is thriving. Both plants were looked after the same way and especially during the cold days to make sure they don't suffer from frost.
My advise would be; Do not trust their "guarantees " which they include on their website, as they will not honour it and it means nothing.
We were going to buy a large bonsai tree from Them Palm Tree Company, but will avoid them at all cost now.

Cannot recommend enough, Tree fern is much much bigger than advertised and cheaper than anywhere else. We weren't expecting delivery until the end of January at the earliest but its already here on the 9th Jan (free delivery too). I had some concerns with a few broken uncurled fronds but they couldn't have been more helpful - they even offered to exchange the tree if we were unhappy. I've never experienced this level of customer service and their response time was amazing. Without a doubt I will be ordering more from these guys again !

The Palm Tree Company has an amazing range of unusual and exotic plants and trees. I have bought from them six times over the past few years and have always been delighted; and the delivery drivers are excellent. Top quality plants and trees with a speed of light delivery with instant expert and friendly advice. Rolls Royce products from a Rolls Royce organisation. Perfect!

Plant arrived in good condition (At 7am so be prepared for an unannounced early start) but much smaller than the described 2.5FT It was in fact only 19" high in a 10" high pot - a fact not mentioned in their website Size 'Drop down' list...(an issue raised before looking down the reviews.) Pots and their capacity i.e. 5L,10L etc are mentioned elsewhere but no indication of what height the pots are - making it impossible for most buyers to determine the actual height of plant (minus pot) they will receive. Other Palm tree suppliers voluntarily specify pot height as they consider this an essential part of an accurate and fair product description.
More disturbing however was the fact that when this issue was raised with the company their response addressed everything except this issue.

Odd isn't it that an emailed response recieved from this company indicated that if customers want to know actual size of plant being purchased they should contact the company

I bought two Ensete Maurelli bananas from here. They have grown a leaf a week and are beautiful, healthy plants now about 5 ft tall.
Prompt delivery. Emailed questions answered promptly. A personal service online that is rare nowadays. I can’t fault them.

Ordered a wonderful fig tree and could not be happier. As they were quite busy, they delivered around 10pm at night which was of no issue at all. The tree istelf is a wondeful specimen.

We pre-ordered a 7 foot Dicksonia Antartica tree fern at a very competitive price. Although it took quite a time before it came, when it arrived the delivery went smoothly and the driver was very helpful. The quality of the tree fern received exceeded our expectations and was a very healthy specimen. We were very happy with the whole process and would order from them again in the future.
