I had ordered a tux for a milestone birthday event well in advance. It showed up on time. It showed up with everything I had ordered. And all the items were sized perfectly. Even if anything had gone wrong, I felt very comfortable with their commitment to get me resized replacements quickly.

Fortunately, no resizing was necessary and I was able to travel with the tux to my event. Although I had forgotten my box to ship it back at home, I did get the itmrs back in the hands of UPS for the return one day after the deadline. They waved the late fee and my return was complete!

I have used local formal wear providers in my city and found the quality of their garments far inferior in quality to what you get here at the black tux.

This is definitely my go to solution for all of my formal wear needs in the future!

The black tux is amazing! First of all, the fit is always perfect. The three times I used the black tux for suits, they fit as good as my professionally tailored suits, and even better than suits “fitted” at normal big box suit rental stores. Additionally, a replacement item is shipped extremely fast if there are any fit issues. The return process is easy. I would not rent a tux or suit from anyone but the black tux!

very convenient to be able to try on the tux before hand and return at no cost to me. Tux arrived plenty of time before wedding. We opted for emerald green which was the perfect color since the wedding was a destination in Ireland. Highly recommend if you want to rent a tux you won't need for future events.

Excellent. They modified my reservation date after it changed and allowed me to keep the suit longer. But even more important, my partner looked amazing. All the other men at the black tie wedding we attended looked the same in ill-fitted suits. My partner looked like a movie star in his Black Tux rental. He got the jacket with the tiny dots on it. People kept coming up to him and telling him how great he looked. And how impressive his suit was. I’m really impressed with this company and will use them again for our next black tie event. I wanted him to keep the suit but we’ll just rent from The Black Tux again.

This company is a complete scam, do not use them. They charge rental prices equivalent to the cost of a new suit; don’t listen to your reported sizes and send you items that are either too large or too small; and include unnecessary items in their rentals. For example, my suit rental listed a belt and cufflinks as required items only to receive tuxedo pants that do not have belt loops and a shirt with button, rather than French, cuffs. Do not order from this company.

If you’re a groom and want to instantly be hated by all your closest friends at once, have them drop 300 for a tux rental with this company.

I’m getting fitted with a group of 8 others of various heights and weights. What black tux has pulled off is actually quite remarkable. Not a single one of us look accurately sized.

Honestly, you’d be better off finding a tux at any local thrift store, finding a homeless person to take some scissors to it, and then defecate all over it, and you’d likely look better.

You know what, on second thought, if you want your wedding party to look similar to the 2002 NBA draft class this might be the avenue you want to go.

Seriously, I’ve had some low moments in my life. I’ve slept in a bush. Peed my pants in public. Fallen down a flight of stairs. I felt worse about myself the moments I had this tux on than all of those combined

I have to admit I was a bit nervous about renting a tux online but I shouldn’t have been. The entire thing was easy, affordable and a great quality. The tux also fit my son perfect and I had never measured anyone for a suit before. I liked that it walked you through the process step by step. I would definitely rent from them again!

The Black Tux ordering process and customer service was absolutely fantastic only to be outdone by the quality of there tuxedo!

Excellent service and great value for the price. Options may seem limited compared to other suit rental companies, however, it's very budget friendly and the quality is top notch. The savings get better the bigger your party is too! I would caution that if you're more comfortable getting fitted in person, there are very limited showrooms. You can get fitted anywhere and plug those numbers directly on the black tux website, but the dimensions may differ slightly from what I've heard from some of the members of our party. I wouldn't worry too much about it though, as they are extremely speedy with shipping out replacements if needed.

The service was all on line and attention to my concerns, amazing! The tux arrived, and while I was impressed, the sleeves were two inches too long. I requested a replacement and I had it in two days! The guys look incredible - while I had no real communication, all by email, the attention paid was 5 star. I highly recommend this service and should I have a need? I definitely will again

I have used the Black Tux for the last 2 years for Prom and both times they did NOT let me down! From last year to this year my son grew a little more than we had expected, but 3 pairs of pants and 2 jackets later we got the look just right and the BEST thing was it was shipped and delivered when they said it would be! We WILL use the Black Tux again!

I have used Black Tux for two weddings I have attended. The tuxes have a modern/slim fit (at least the ones I have rented), and I have really appreciated how seamlessly it all worked. The tux arrived long before the event, and returning it was super easy.

I did spend the extra effort getting myself measured at a Black Tux in Nordstrom, and that was reassuring when I rented the second time as my measurements were on file.

It's good to know that there are alternatives to the shoe/tie selections they recommend. You can switch out from the patent leather shoes to the slip-ons if you like.

I also appreciated the customer service I got in trying to pick a tux. Their advice was spot on.

I was a last-minute invite to a black-tie event. And by last minute, I mean 4 days. I went to several local shops, but not could/would help me. Heard about TBT and they had everything I needed-- AND could get it to me the day of the event (BONUS: I actually got it the day BEFORE the event, which really dialed down my stress level!).
Everything looked fresh and crisp and best of all, as if it had not been worn before. The fit was shockingly good, with only the jacket sleeves being a little too long. However, to be fair, I have never had a jacket "off the rack" be the correct sleeve length due to my build, so I really can't count that as a "ding" particularly within such a tight time-frame.
It was all super easy to re-pack and return.
I was a little skeptical at first (would it be on-time, would it look cheap or worn,) but now, I can't say enough good things about the experience!

After sending back my first ever tux rental from The Black Tux for alterations, every order since has come in timely and with a perfect fit. If you ever experience a mis-fit rental, you will be amazed by the corrections and turn around time that they offer. Additionally, I have had a great experience with overall communication from The Black Tux team. From order details, shipping info, and alterations, their service has been excellent and I will continue to use and recommend their services.

I followed their recommendations and the fit was perfect. Also, the quality was far better than the regular rentals I am used to. I ordered the week of my event and it arrived very quickly. I will definitely rent from here again.

A little expensive but the materials are high quality. Make sure you try on and get any replacement clothes if it doesn’t fit you.
