It was easy to use the platform and to find the right chef who was able to meet our expectations.

Chef Manu made my bachelor party unforgettable. Likely the highlight for all 15 of my friends and myself on this trip, he & his staff were punctual, professional, flexible, accommodating and knowledgeable. Never in a thousand years would I seek out another private chef in Arizona. Please treat yourself to memories made my Manu and his team. Manu, Tatum & Kayla - thank you a million times over for making this trip so fun and memorable. I hope to see you again soon!

Chef Fritz was absolutely awesome, he really helped make our trip. He is much much more than just a guy who cooks amazing food. You can tell he truly cares about the experience. He greeted us in the mornings with hot coffee and fresh coconuts. He was creative and very impressive with the menu and variety while at the same time repurposing leftover ingredients into additional unique dishes to reduce waste and control cost. He paid a lot of attention to the special touches, and even stocked us with thoughtful drinks and snacks for the off-meal times. He became the housemaster, keeping our area tidy and even washing loads of beach towels when he had downtime! Every dish was photo-perfect and absolutely fresh and delicious. Highly recommend. Our trip wouldn't have been the same without him.

Chef Berenice was truly one of the highlights of our entire trip to San Juan. We were there for a week-long company offsite, and she handled nearly all of our breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. Every single meal was exceptional.

Her Puerto Rican–style cooking went far beyond our expectations. Not only was the food consistently outstanding, but she also went above and beyond the planned menu, surprising us with thoughtful extras throughout the week. On our departure day, she even prepared to-go snack packs with fresh fruit for our flights, which was such a kind and personal touch.

What really sets Chef Berenice apart is how she treats her guests. She cooked for us as if we were her own family, and that care came through in every detail. The entire team raved about her food all week long, and it quickly became something we looked forward to each day.

We will absolutely work with Chef Berenice every time we are in Puerto Rico, and I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for an unforgettable, elevated, and genuinely heartfelt culinary experience.

P.S. Her breakfast sandwiches were hands down the best I’ve ever had.

Chef Evan was amazing and creative in accommodating our Italian Dinner requests. Highly recommend.

Chef Diego was amazing. Communication and meal options were fantastic. He came in and served the delightful meals and we were all taken back by the wonderful and delicious evening. Diego was really friendly and we'd highly recommend him!

Derrick is an amazing chef! His dishes were presented beautifully, spaced out timely, delicious, and exactly what we asked for. We even shared a post meal beverage together :-)

The company was easy to use and book. Most importantly Chef Adriana was absolutely amazing and a pleasure to be around. She communicated great any time we needed to. She came up with a great local seafood based recipe that was to die for. Her service goes over and beyond, and she is really cool to just hangout with and talk to. All our guests really enjoyed talking with her, and especially eating her well prepared food. It was so good! Would recommend her to anyone.

Our chef, Charles was great! Communication about the menu was great and everything was so delicious. If we are in KY again, we will definitely book if we can again! We chose the “oriental” package, we recommend to anyone who loves Asian flavors

I could not be happier with the Chef that provided me with such a lovely dinner for my best friends 60th birthday dinner celebration. If you have never hired a Chef for a special occasion, but have been thinking about it.DO IT with Take a Chef!!

Our recent trip to Rincón, Puerto Rico was unforgettable, and a huge part of what made it so special was the incredible private chef who prepared our meals, Chef Liz.

She truly deserves 5 glowing stars — she was an absolute highlight of the entire vacation! She cooked for our group of 8 adults and 3 kids across three delicious dinners, one wonderful breakfast, and one truly extravagant brunch. Every single meal struck the perfect balance: upscale and sophisticated yet completely family-friendly and inclusive, as we requested. The flavors were out of this world — bold, fresh, and bursting with that authentic Puerto Rican spirit, but presented in a way that everyone from the pickiest eater to the food lovers in our crew raved about.

What set her apart was the special touch she brought to everything. She made the most incredible fresh fruit beverages to accompany many of the meals — think vibrant, refreshing tropical blends.

She handled everything with grace in the comfort of our Airbnb, serving beautiful family-style meals that brought us together around the table each time. She was always punctual, the food arrived hot and perfectly timed, and the presentation was stunning. We found ourselves talking about (and looking forward to) each upcoming meal throughout the trip — they truly became the heartbeat of our days in Rincón.

She made our vacation feel luxurious, comfortable, and deeply memorable. If you're in Rincón and want to treat your family (or group) to extraordinary home-cooked meals without leaving your rental, she is the one to book. We are so grateful to have had her — she was the cherry on top of an already amazing trip.

Chef Luis made for a wonderful evening. The menu he provided was spot on for what I was looking for. Each course was presented beautifully and tasted absolutely delicious. He took care of everything from the minute he arrived. He set the table, created amazing dishes, and cleaned everything as he went. It was an excellent night.

Excellent service and overall great experience. Our Chef (Vu Nhat Minh Tran) was determined for us to have a wonderful time. The flavours were sooo yummy and time between dishes was perfect.

The Take A Chef team responded to my initial request so quickly. The Chef we selected (Marius K) was amazing. He communicated throughout the process up to the day of the meal itself. He arrived on tome and was warm, engaging, polite and attentive
The food was amazing ( and my wife is gluten intolerant) . An unforgettable evening.

Chef Duque was extremely superb, he was just outstanding! His menu had a better selection and pricing of the four chef’s that was presented to us. The food tasted excellent, and was cooked at the right temperature.

His service was profoundly superb, we were amazed how he selected the proper tableware, plates, and utensils that were stored in our kitchen. He also went above and beyond by selecting and paring the wine that was in our bar.

We had an excellent experience with Take a Chef and a superb experience with our selected chef.
