Excellent experience with Take a Chef. The platform was easy to use, communication was smooth, and it helped me find an outstanding chef for a large event. Everything was professional, efficient, and exactly as promised. I would absolutely use Take a Chef again and highly recommend it.

Jela, at Lemon Soul, was just fantastic.
I had 19 relatives for my birthday lunch, and everything was great - her menu, the food, serving, timing, cleaning up after - but, most of all, she has such a wonderful personality. Nothing was too much trouble, and she made my special day so enjoyable by taking the catering off my mind.
I'm looking forward to the next occasion that I can use her.

Gratitude for a well organized and relaxed mood during the dinner course. Chef Gabriel and Melanie, his assistant (and wife) managed to provide a succulent gourmet experience for all guests concerned: we had filet Mignon in reduced pepper sauce with a delicate puree of parsnip and asparagus. He was able to produce the finest halibut filet dish for one guest who could not have the filet Mignon. One distinctive feature: Gabriel and Melanie REALLY used my kitchen to cook this fine meal - that distinguishes them from other chefs who only use the kitchen to warm up precooked meals For dessert, we had cheese cake in a strawberry coulis: what a wonderful finale for a Spring celebration, a winner that pleased so much that Hannah (our smiling bartender ) only had empty plates to remove from the table. Let's speak of Hannah: she was there every time and everywhere her services were needed, merci! .
In sum, this dynamic team of young experienced people greatly contributed to the party's atmosphere, and I thank them for it. A special salute to Melanie for her heartfelt contact with us, the party people.

Chef Casandra was absolutely top notch. Very polite and professional and on time. Dinner was amazing. If you chose Chef Casandra get the candied Angel eggs WOW!!!!. Absolutely every course was perfect she nailed all of it.

Qualité de la prestation lamentable
Des chips industrielles en apéro!!!
La table n’a pas ete dressée ni débarrassée et les casseroles pas lavées apres la prestation.
On devait avoir 2 entrées on en a eu qu’une seule et en plus nous avons eu 3 burrata alors que nous étions 4 (le 4eme s’est retrouvé avec des toasts de chèvres !)
Les produits utilisés n'était meme pas frais (boîte de champignons 1er prix, asperges en boite) et un risotto mal cuit)
Le dessert, un fondant au chocôat qui ́’avait rié de fondant tellement il était cuit !!!
Le chef s’est empresse de partir une fois les assiettes de dessert posée sur la table.
Le temps d'encaisser la déception et de ruminer, j’ai contacté le site, on me dit qu’il fallait deposer la réclamation dàs les 24h, malheureusement pour moi je me suis décidée au bout de 36h !

Perdi tempo a creare menu con relativi prezzi a partire da 90 euro per un esperienza di alto livello....poi chissa perché arrivano sempre richieste di clienti tra i 58 e 69 euro a persona. Ma non vi vergognate in piu ti chiedono il 21% di commissione....Ma andate a zappare

Buenísima experiencia ! Mis invitados quedaron impresionados la fusión de sabores es increíbles y ha hecho algo impactante , hizo que combinaciones de sabores que de manera normal no me gustan sean exquisitos en mi paladar, es una sensación que no se puede escribir con palabras hay que vivirla !

This was the first time we used this service. We were in Costa Rica. I cannot speak highly enough about the experience. The food was fantastic, fresh, filled with local flavors. Our chef arrived on time every night, prepared, absolutely everything and cleaned up. It was luxurious and, quite frankly, not that much more expensive than just going out and eating at a restaurant, which is more of a chore. He was able to adjust to one of our guests, gluten allergy and had a pretty extensive menu for our selection. We used him for five nights.

Chef Angelo is the best. Helped in so many ways with and without cooking and the food was amazing and presentation was wonderful

This was an amazing experience with brilliant food and we would definitely request Chef Marco for our next events. The contact and customer service before the event was very clear and we were given loads of options to choose from. Thanks to Chef Marco we were able to celebrate my sisters 30th Birthday in style, a meal and experience we won't forget, thank you!

This platform need to be know for how bad it is.
The support for chef is totally missing.
A guest asked me where to leave a review and they do not have any feature to allow this.
They say they sent a link but apparently this is not working since 2 years. All my clients had the same issue: they do not receive the link for review, you as chef, can not have one to share with them and they have no such a feature on their event page.
How a platform for events like this can be such a shame? so bad developed and still being used by most chefs?
On top of that there are some errors that the system recognise even after they has being edited.
The assistance says that they will be back to you but they don't..never.
You have the feeling there is no one on the back end of this platform while is still charging you 18% for doing nothing.

Amazing experience, couldn’t fault it. Our chef communicated well before the evening and was professional and friendly. He immediately got on with preparing the food and put us at ease (having never had a private chef before we weren’t sure what to expect!). The food was divine and Michal explained each dish. He then packed up and left us with a very clean and tidy kitchen. Such a great experience and really tasty meal!

le chef Bartosz nous a concocté des plats savoureux et très bien présentés et s'est adapté à notre demande, en nous proposant des menus à la carte, végétarien pouir une partie des convives et non végétariens pour les autres.
Le chef sait se faire oublier tout en étant attentif au bon déroulement du repas.

Chef Stephon was awesome! The food was truly delicious and it was a wonderful first time experience with a private chef.

Chef Antonio was incredible! We loved all of his food, and it was the best seafood Paella we have ever had. He also was so friendly, and left the kitchen very clean. We chose him because he was the only chef who offered us gluten free and vegan options, and was really accommodating. He made a wonderful brownie and carrot cake too. If we come back to Valencia again we’re 1000% reaching out to Chef Antonio! Thank you!!!!

Firstly to use the Take a Chef site was great, and easy to use. Our Chef for the dinner was chef Romuald and was amazing! The food was so delicious and every single detail was really thought out. Will be 100% booking again

Chef Hector and his assistant helped make our 6th year anniversary absolutely unforgettable. From start to finish, they were incredibly attentive, kind, and professional. The food was amazing—every dish was full of flavor and beautifully prepared.
What really stood out was how thoughtful they were throughout the evening, making sure everything was perfect without ever being intrusive. To top it off, they even cleaned everything before leaving, which we truly appreciated.
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend Chef Hector and his team for any special occasion!
