I took on a project of extracting attachments from 5 years of email in outlook. SysTools Outlook Attachment Extractor made this very simple. The interface was intuitive and easy to follow. A few questions I had were answered by the product demo video on their website. I saved hours and hours of labor with just a few clicks. Feels good to be organized again.

What I respect about this company is the incredible customer service you receive. No matter what time of day or night, they are there to help you through your issues. Great software and great people. A+++++

The product: SysTools BKF Recovery v10.0 (full version)
First of all, it was difficult to activate the product—I had the trial version and then purchased the full version. I had to contact support and was told I had to completely delete the app and start over to get the full version loaded.
There is no “save” of data. With each use, I had to completely reload the full external hard drive. Very time consuming. When I found a file and wanted to open it, whether to export or add to any folder on my laptop, I could never actually read any document. I tried to save and open with Microsoft Word. Nothing would open and many errors would appear. The product is difficult to navigate. It is not user friendly in the least. This product is not what I expected. I attempted to initiate a refund by contacting the sales department. This company is located in India, by the way. They have yet to respond. I would like to warn anyone who is considering this product. Find some other solution. DO NOT USE THIS SITE. IT IS A SCAM.

This software is antiquated. It reminds me of systems that I used in the 1990s. It could really use an upgrade to a more current, reliable functionality.

I misunderstood what this product was meant for. I was disappointed that it would not meet my needs. I felt I was tricked into buying because it was promising results that it didn’t deliver.

I wanted to find and recover a Microsoft Word document that I made on our previous home desktop computer. The files on this computer were downloaded to an external BKF before it was removed from the home and donated.

I asked Grok which system would best fit my needs. I was considering another tool. I had Grok do a side-by-side comparison and Grok recommended Systools. From the information I gathered, it seemed Systools was the product I needed. Its site gives directions on “How to Repair Corrupt Backup (BKF) File” with this product “Systools BKF Recovery v10.0 (Full Version).

I could neither extract nor export any information or file. All I was able to do was see a list of all the files on the external hardware I had. I tried multiple files. Nothing would open.

I initiated a Live Chat Support correspondence to get help with my struggle with the product. I was given links to ‘how it works’ and encouraged to follow the instructions. It was exactly the things I had already done. I was told that my file must be corrupted and I would have to use some other “word repair tool” because this product only extracts data from BKF files, it doesn’t repairs files.

I began to assume this site wanted me to purchase more products or bundles to “fix” my files. I really do not feel this is the company that I should be doing business with.

As I became aware of this company being based in India, it seemed possible there were language barriers, cultural barriers, and geographical barriers that would make it extremely difficult for me to communicate with them.

They do have a claim that they will offer a 30-day money back guarantee. I emailed them and requested a refund. This I did within 24 hours of my purchase. I did not receive any response for over another 24 hours and was told my refund would be processed within 24 hours. It has been 48 hours and I am still waiting.

The Systools representative was apparently extremely frustrated and disappointed with my negative review and is demanding an update from me. I believe my refund is being held for ransom until I can say something nice about the company or product, which only makes me more determined to believe this company is not trustworthy.

I feel I was misled by assuming this was a reputable company due to the reviews. I’m usually a person who believes “if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all”. I don’t like to give poor reviews, however if someone could benefit from my experience, then it is imperative that I share my knowledge.

SysTools support was prompt and responsive to my support request when I needed to reinstall the application on a new computer.

Love the product, and the customer service is understanding and helpful.

I was ready to call it a day and request a refund as nothing was working for me. Derek Wills was nothing short of amazing. He walked me through the set up , helped with all my questions and got it installed and working. I was so ready to give up before my chat. Give him a raise he saved a client for sure. Kudos. Can't say enough good about him.

I had a problem with activation. Kaira Martin was available right away in the chat and helped take care fo this.
