Ross who booked me out in Glasgow was great. And a life saver. Was having a small medical issue I needed water for and he gave me his own unopened 1.5 ltr bottle even k ow he didnt know it was medical. On the return, my plans changed and it only cost me 35 quid to change my drop off point 400 miles south. All in all great service, great car, and very happy.

Couldn’t have asked for better..
I have just had the hire car collected and I couldn’t be happier with the service from switch car rental. From start to finish it’s been smooth considering how quickly I needed a vehicle due to mine going for repair. First car they provided me with was delivered to my door but after my son breaking his leg and being in a cast I couldn’t get him in a smaller car. This was then swapped for a bigger car as soon as one became available. Hannah in the office made sure this was done promptly and efficiently. Delivery/ collection drivers Scott and Paul were lovely. Showed me around the car and were very pleasant. Highly recommend.

Cowboy Rental Co exploiting disabled person..
Keep away from this cowboy rental company in Fenton Stoke-on-Trent. They provided an absolutely rubbish Service.
They've accused me of scratches on the car they delivered with big dirty stains on the back seat, which I have not done. Luckily, after many years working in the car game, so I took pictures when the car arrived, but now they are still making an insurance claims against me, even with my evidence. How can they do this??? Becsuse the email they sent says in the small print I must report any damage within 3 hours of receiving the car. I'm disabled and to expect me to get on the floor and inspect the vehicle is not clever or funny, it's absolutely disgusting. I called their office and was spoken to very rudely by Ray. Please save yourself lots of trouble and keep away from these cowboys in Fenton.

Terrible
Terrible! Was told Monday afternoon that a replacement car would be given to us after ours was deemed not road worthy. They said it probably wouldn’t be Monday though & most likely Tuesday morning. Fine, Tuesday morning passes by no phone call so we call them to be told it’s looking like it’ll be Tuesday afternoon. Tuesday afternoon passes no phone call, call them again to be told it’ll be Wednesday. Call again & been told that it might not even be Wednesday. What is the point. None of the staff seem to want to help & instead just blaming it on other things

Been waiting 2 days for a replacement car while mine is off the road, I got told I would be contacted and I’ve had to call them 4 times in 2 days and they still won’t confirm when I’m going to get my car. I get my car from motorbility so it just seems like they don’t want to give me one because of that.

Do not rent a car from this company.
We rented a car at the Portsmouth location. We were there before they opened and were first in line. It took almost an hour to go through the process to get the car. Their credit card machine was not working, they could not get the vehicle inspection machine working, there was absolutely no sense of urgency despite us explaining we had to make a 9:30 am ferry. The manager, Tina, was out back smoking a cigarette instead of helping the lady at the counter who had no idea what she was doing. Do NOT rent from this location. They also did not apologize for how long it took. We also witnessed a man trying to return a car and that also took him almost an hour with the same process in reverse. Absolutely ridiculous when we were the only people there, despite the fact that there were at least 5 employees standing around that we could see.

Ongoing and decline disgraceful
I am writing to update my ongoing complaint regarding my hire vehicle, as unfortunately the situation has deteriorated even further.
Following my formal complaint and Trustpilot review, I was suddenly informed that a suitable vehicle had become available. This was surprising given that I had previously been told there were no suitable vehicles available.
I was then asked to remain at home all day to await delivery. I rearranged my entire day and did exactly that. However, throughout the day the estimated delivery time continued to be pushed back later and later.
Eventually, I received a telephone call advising that the driver was stuck in traffic and, because they were not permitted to work overtime, they were turning around and returning to base. I was therefore informed that I would not be receiving the vehicle that day after all.
I was then asked what time would be convenient the following day. After explaining the earliest time I would be available, I was simply told that this was “not possible” and that, in that case, the hire would be cancelled altogether.
This level of customer service is completely unacceptable. At every stage I have been expected to alter my plans, wait at home indefinitely, and accommodate your company, yet there appears to have been no effort to accommodate me in return. The decision to cancel the hire because the delivery time did not suit your schedule is both unreasonable and wholly unprofessional.
This has caused me significant inconvenience, frustration and distress, particularly as I rely on a suitable vehicle for my mobility needs. The inconsistent information and lack of communication have only added to what has already been an extremely disappointing experience.
I ask that this matter is urgently reviewed by a senior manager. I would also like a full written explanation as to:
* Why a suitable vehicle suddenly became available only after I submitted a formal complaint.
* Why I was asked to remain at home all day when no realistic delivery could be achieved.
* Why the delivery was cancelled due to your driver’s working hours.
* Why the entire hire was then cancelled simply because the delivery time the following day did not suit your schedule.

I rented a ford transit van ,this is the most comfortable van I ever drove,I even left my belongings in the van at the time I returned the rental ,after reaching home I remembered that I left somethings in the van for my work ,a portable car tyre pump and two pair of shoes,I contacted Switch car rentals to see if it was still there or of it was missing/Stolen ,I spoke to Jason and he told me he will locate the van and search for the items I left and he will give me a call back soon ,Jason returned the call after 15 minutes letting me know that he locate the van and he found everything i left I just remembered my shoes and the car tyre pump and I forgot I had a Calvin Klein shoes which he add to the rest of items,I ask Jason if he I can buy him something for been such a honest person and he told me he is okay and don’t need nothing,the honesty in a company is one of the most important thing when you can rely upon a company trust .

Absolutely a terrible company
Absolutely a terrible company. Promised as booked a 7 seater automatic. After not hearing anything from them regarding my booking I rang them. The woman on reception then told me they didn't have any 7 seater auto's and that other customers where waiting since June for one. What sort of two bit company doesn't have cars to rent out. She did offer a 9 seater vito which I accepted because I am due to go on holiday first thing in the morning. 04:08:2026. She then promised me that they would have it at my address before 5pm today. At 1pm I get a text message stating my booking for due to be delivered after I was due to leave to in the morning 04,08,26.
I rang to ask what was going on. And was met by a very unhelpful person who didn't really want to help. Making excuses that the replacement car was not available until tomorrow. Yet it was bookable for this afternoon on line. A lie.
I hate shabby service and the couldn't careless attitude form customer service tops it off.
My advice. Find another company. Don't rent from cowboys with little to no customer care.
They seem to prioritise cash paying customers. This is the HUL branch.
They may have changed the name but its still the same old sub standard service.
