So I bought a large wine fridge last year (WL455DF), and it was brilliant. Looked great, quiet, kept wine perfectly, good installation.
Bought another and it’s been awful - most importantly they have changed the compressor so now it makes an awful high pitch, I also have a door that is hard to close, inside my bottles are damp (physically wet to touch), and I asked for the hinge to be swapped sides and currently have an upside down door with the logo at the bottom (costs an extra £120 or so for that pleasure).
So disappointed I couldn’t just get what I got delivered last year - I used to recommend Swisscave to everyone, now I will be steering people well clear (don’t even get me onto Swiftcare who are supposed to deliver and install etc…look them up independently to see what people say).

Six months on and I still haven’t received my correct order. This is my second order and the second time I am struggling to get the correct shelves for the fridge. I have in total received 6 deliveries of shelves that don’t fit the fridge. Combined with exceptional slow response time (if any), brace yourself for a frustrating time getting your order.

Von der SWISSCAVE AG bekam ich einige Wochen nach dem Kauf des Weinkühlschranks die Einladung zur Bewertung auf Trustpilot. Gerne lass ich euch an meinen Erlebnissen teilhaben.

Startend mit dem Beratungsgespräch. Auf meine Erstanfrage via Mail wurde am Folgetag zurückgeschrieben. Meine Fragen wurden im Schreiben zum Besten beantwortet und zudem wurde mir ein Telefongespräch angeboten. Sehr gute Erfahrung mit dem Sales Abteil gemacht.

Da ich mich bereits im Vorfeld informiert habe war bereits klar, dass ich den Lagerschrank WLB-360F haben muss. Die Bezahlung erfolgte via PayPal, woraufhin ich einen Tag später eine E-Mail von swisscave mit der Auftragsbestätigung bekommen habe. Dort wurde mir auch ein Lieferfenster von 4-7 Werktagen mitgeteilt.

Die geplante Anlieferung nach 6 Werktagen erfolgte ohne Probleme. Die zwei netten Herren von der Spedition brachten den Schrank ebenerdig in die Wohnung an die Verwendungsstelle und nahmen die Kartonage wieder mit.

Der Weinschrank ist nun mit Flaschen bestückt und leuchtet in angenehmen Orange im Wohnzimmer. Die Geräuschemission vom Kompressor ist mir nie so wirklich aufgefallen.

Daher von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

I bought a large wine fridge form SwissCave and spoke with them before ordering so they could confirm they were going to carry it up to the apartment and not leave it at the front door. When the delivery day comes around, they just drop it off next to my neighbour's hallway entrance refusing to carry it upstairs. They then say they will come back the next day and move it, but instead, they disappear for a week. I am now celebrating the 1-week anniversary of having all my neighbours hate me because a fridge is blocking the entire hallway.

Edit: just to clarify after the reply from Swiss Cave here. They were provided with measurements ahead of delivery and also asked if they wanted to look at the entrance before coming like Eurocave does before arranging a delivery. When they delivered the fridge and put it in front of my neighbour’s entrance they claimed they would come back the next morning to carry it upstairs. At no point in time did Swiss Cave say that it was not possible to deliver, and it clearly was possible given that it’s inside my flat right now. What’s unacceptable is to just drop something off to block the entrance for all of our neighbours and then just disappear after lying about coming back. If they thought it was not possible to deliver the fridge, it should have been taken back and not randomly left blocking doors. Swiss Cave also contacted TrustPilot to claim this review was fake, but I had pictures of everything to document it that were shared with TrustPilot. Swiss Cave can’t both pretend this never happened and also write a response where they are clearly aware that there was a huge issue here.
