Excellent service

Shane called ahead with clear timings. When he arrived he was polite, professional and did the work beautifully with clear explanations of the issue and keeping everything clean.

Yearly service

Jan 29th visit from Tim Smith
Had our Gazco Riva serviced today by engineer Tim Smith.
Phone call before arrival which was at our request .
Tim arrived on time he was polite and courteous .
Got straight on with the job , protected the floor and all his tools remained on the sheet he had laid down.
All very neat and tidy.
He talked us through everything he was doing and answered any questions we had.
You could tell he was very experienced and had a great deal of knowledge in his chosen field .
A very polite lad, a true professional and a pleasure to have in our home.
We only ever use Gazco now for all our servicing and needs, each engineer has been fantastic.
A service second to none and worth every penny.

Ignition problems continue

I’ve been dealing with Gazco for over a year about ignition faults on two Gazco Loft gas fires. Both units have had serious ongoing problems.

Customer service has been extremely slow, with months between replies and vague promises to “be in touch shortly” that go nowhere.

Gazco sent an engineer, but within weeks the fire failed again, so the issue was not fixed. I am now out of pocket for parts and repairs(beyond the cost of the fire) with no reimbursement and no resolution.

Very disappointed with both the product reliability and the after-sales support.

This has went fair beyond the normal after sales support. If you can reply to my email, that would be much appreciated. I see replies on trust pilot are more timely than email.

My fire would not ignite …an engineer called Jon Thompson came to fix it …He was so polite ,efficient and identified the problem relatively quickly ..He tidied up as he went along …explaining the problem to me ..I have no complaints whatsoever about his efficiency

Stovax propane gas fire repair

We had our gas fire repaired by the stovax engineer. He arrived on time when he said he would and was very polite, removed his shoes without asking and was extremely professional in the way he carried out to the work. Thoroughly checked the fire over, fixed the problem and reassembled the fire to perfection. All working again now great job.

A Warm Xmas

We had looked at getting a wood burning stove before the pandemic due to a smoky open fire, which I refused to light very often due to health risks and eco reasons. However, my wife loved the look of our marble hearth and surround and didn’t want to lose it. This year the stand off came to a head and we decided to look again. Visiting the Waveney Stoves showroom, we saw possibilities for a replacement and Justin pointed us to a couple of options which would be an attractive alternative to what we had, without the problems. The price and timescales were good, meaning the fitment of the stove before this winter. The whole process of measuring, quoting and fitting could not have been more professional. Everything was managed to perfection with the minimum of fuss and maximum of skill and efficiency by the guys at Eco Flue – mainly Michael & Kiwi. I’ve delayed this review to get a better idea of how the stove has performed and I have to say it has met every expectation. Very controllable, burns efficiently and doesn’t smoke (except slightly when opening to throw more logs in). My wife said that it felt like it had always been there and was better than the previous hearth – and the stove helped to make Xmas!

A dream come true!

I have had my fireplace boarded up since I moved into my house in 2019.
I have been unable to afford a fireplace.
I was guided on the journey by Hearth and Home in Sheffield and they were exceptional!
Nothing was too much trouble!
The seven year warranty was also a great bonus!

Warranty Claim/Callout - Shout out to Reza

We needed a warranty visit for our Loft Gas Fire. The engineer Reza Nejad was courteous, worked in a clean fashion and sorted our problem. He gave us two hacks for the remote control that aren't adequately covered in the manuals.
To start fire you only need to hold the buttons for 1 second. Second was to do with the optimum setting after the fire has warmed up. It was holding the button down for 2 seconds but I can't remember which ones.

Excellent Service

Stovax /Gazco engineer Kenny was absolutely brilliant. After having three other engineers out to look at my gas fire Kenny was the only one who instantly knew what the problem was and had it working after 45 minutes. He was friendly and professional. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Out of warranty repair

Derek Thomas came to service and mend our gas fire. It’s an old model ( 2009) and he advised us to update our carbon monoxide monitors and the best place to position them. He also showed us how to use the remote control . A great professional service from a friendly engineer. Thank you

Great warranty support

My stove needed attention under the warranty.There were no issues in sorting things out.
The engineer that came (Derek) ordered and replaced the part (door).He was smart, respectful and worked very hard to ensure everything was right before he left.

Support service excellency

Whilst it took me a little time to find the 'official' Stovax website, once I did, the support I received from the agent who answered my call (Stephen Lomas) was the most efficient, patient and incredibly clear and precise in talking me through the online 'spare parts' ordering process.
