Made my first order and not sure what to except but i surprised how well the order was packed and it was all there nothing missing just one item had few contents crushed . Over all delighted and recommend this company and saying that i will use them again and again . One drawback they have long pack & delivery window and does not send notification to customers 10/10

have received mouldy items twice now.company does absolutely nothing, so a waste of time reporting it!.won't be buying from them again.

I have used approved foods for years buying once or twice a month. While there has been the odd problem, food is packed with care and insight into the placement of many different weight items together.

Such a variety of food and great deals if you use the store for your dry goods, household and every day needs.

Always check the expiration dates and I find if it is a few months over all is well. I truly can't recommend Approved Food highly enough it has made a massive difference to my life when you consider how high street prices seem to increase by the day and bills get higher.

Delivery is now is with DPD and the lads are incredibly helpful and professional!!

So thanks very much Approved Food you really are my go to when I plan my monthly shopping. I hope you keep growing and thriving especially when people are finding money tight want tasty food and need to budget accordingly.

My recent order for Ensure Nutrivigor was delivered this week with a best before date of January 2025! The manufacturer is clear in that the product is so out of date it should not be consumed and is unfit for sale. The selling company is irresponsible in taking such a cavalier attitude.

I have been using Approved foods for a while probably about once a month to top up my store cupboard. Yes you do need to be mindful of the dates and check if they are very out of date but it is given clearly and I have got some great bargains . You also need to check the actual size as I have been caught out thinking it is full size and in fact a very small sample size but more than compensated by the prices of the other items in the box. Again now I just double check the size so not to be caught out. I also have never received anything damaged it has always been extremely well packaged and what I really like it that they use recycled paper or compostable packaging for any bottles. The other criticism raised it that you get a credit note if there are any items not available - this is my only gripe too and it should be more clearly shown when ordering and perhaps also a free postage and package given to compensate - I have in fact only had one item £2.99 as a credit note so not a big deal given them number of time I have used them. I will continue to use this store and would recommend but just be mindful of what you are buying.

Poor delivery and customer service

Bad delivery driver package damaged patched up with dpd tape left downstairs so had to struggle with disability to get upstairs alone

Think you are getting a bargain, enticed by a few items at minimal cost or a free gift, but in reality you end up buying a load of stuff that's usually unusable, stale etc that you wouldn't normally buy and waste your money, stay clear and just buy what you need when you need it from reputable establishments, unless you like flat fizzy drinks, stale crisps, hair and beauty products that are unusable, chocolate that no longer tastes like chocolate and I could go on and on.

Delivered in a broken box with items placed on top of the damaged, wet box. The contents were damaged and wet from a broken can. Contacted customer services with images on the day of delivery in the location it was delivered to with a damaged item - incredibly, they are unable to offer a refund but just a credit on the site??? Why would I wish to reorder again? This was my first experience, which was pretty atrocious. Cheap, but you are paying for stuff you cannot use.

Awful company, sent the incorrect item that was advertised incorrectly on the website and will not pay for the return postage to issue a refund, disgraceful

Ordered a approved food delivery on the 10 th December DX express claimed they was unable to delivery on FOUR occasions, complained to approve food who said we will re send your order minus 6 items ( no longer available) however I am still awaiting that delivery, I had been waiting in on the delivery dates that DX Express had advised and received text messages late in the day to say they was simply unable to deliver, no offer of compensation whatsoever by approved food and between my original order and today’s date it has been 20 days including the x mas break and still no delivery 🤷🏽 please be aware.

Took my order well before Xmas. Paid for fast delivery. Was told they would try for delivery before Xmas failed to do that and actually emailed today asking if I still wanted my goods. I confirmed I did and now there saying was a mix up here's a refund. Did they just want my money over Xmas? Absolutely useless.

This company uses DX Express to ship orders, a courier company that has a score of 1 on Trustpilot. I think that says all you need to know about Approved Foods commitment to good service. Their courier has failed to deliver my order and claimed to have posted a card to arrange a redelivery after now, having missed two scheduled deliveries and clearly never approached my property as no such card is in either of our post boxes. Orders from Approved Food take ages to ship. They don't represent good value. I won't be ordering again from them. If you have such little respect for your customers that you will happily employ what is regarded as possibly the worst courier firm around, you dont deserve any more money from me, thats for sure.

You have to be very careful what you buy from this company. Do your research first before you part with your cash.

I didn't and it cost me as I fell for what I thought was a bargain only to find out later that it wasn't so good after all!

Not only that, but to rub salt into the wound it turned out that the item I was buying (which was 9 boxes of Kellogs Corn Flakes 450g) were advertised as being originally priced at £3.49. This price was shown on the front of the Kellogs box in red on a yellow background.

I ordered 9 of them and paid £2.49 per box. Certainly less than the advertised price so that's seemed like a good deal, even though it was a short best before date left on the boxes.

However, when they arrived the price printed on the front of my boxes was NOT the £3.49 as advertised and shown on the website but £3.29.

Oh well I thought I'm still getting them at a reasonable price. WRONG!

Because by now I had become curious and did some research. Which is what I should have done in the first place.

I could have brought them from Sainsbury's at £2.35 and even cheaper from Tescos at £2.29 and most likely with a much longer than best before date!

So I had probably paid 20 pence more per box (an extra £1.80 in total) than I needed to if I had got them from Tescos.

Totally my own fault! Although the original advertised picture showing them priced as costing £3.49 (not the £3.29 that are on mine) certainly pulled me in. A very clever marketing strategy.

So please do your research before you buy and you won't make the same mistake that I did.

Ordered food products and they display used by date so you know what your getting however ordered some murad moisturiser which smelt awful. On checking the product code it was produced nearly 6 years ago and is not fit for use. Contacted company for a refund but dont rate my chances. Almost products should have manufactured date so you can make an informed decision if to buy

Used to have amazing bargains.. now looks like they got greedy.. barely cheaper considering clise to sell by date

Unavailable on the phone. Crafty email sent from "noreply" address, encouraging people to open the link and activate an account. Very shoddy business practice. Would give them a very, very wide berth.

I made my original order on 5th September, it then took 3 deliveries 13 days later to receive the order but it was still not complete. In the end the company refunded me for the outstanding items. I asked for them to call so we could resolve this issue but no one did. I will never use this company again.

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE COWBOYS!!
Paid for goods, did not receive the goods, called and left messages and sent emails and no one gets back to you!!
No goods and no money back.
AVOID USING THIS COMPANY!!!
