Prince william castleford ....No gravy for a carvery waited 15 minutes still no gravy so food went cold and dry avoid

I downloaded the app and played a game to earn prize vouchers. Mobile data signal in restaurant non-existent so I had to sign up for free WiFi to order on the app and get the discounts. This took forever! It didn't tell me that I could only use one of the prize discounts so I cancelled and ordered again and lost all discounts! Service very slow, not enough staff. However, the staff were lovely and very helpful and the food was OK and pretty good value.

Delayed meal great place nice women called Karen she was very welcoming and helpful

Filled email registration section on app and it rejected in red yet I cleared all the red. Couldn't get the bottom button / register or whatever they called it to be not greyed out.
Gave up

Ps got it past the email and password entry screen ok it was the next page that failed.

Ordered carvery, went up meat was dry, no stuffing and mash there, staff had to be asked for more
When the Stuffing came out was under cooked.
Table and seats were dirty.
Got our money back and went elsewhere. Won't ever be coming back even though live within walking distance.

Haywain, Southampton Road, Cadnum. We stopped at this pub as been many times before It was just before 1pm on a Saturday so we thought it would be busy. When we arrived the car park was practically empty, alarm bells rang slightly. We ordered 2 carveries. I felt put off as soon as we got to the carvery section. The chef was disgustingly dirty. His whites were absolutely filthy as were his nails. The food was really died up and only tepid despite digging deep into the bowls. The mash was just full of lumps and roast potatoes were hardly kripsy The gravy was barely warm. My husband normally eats all his carvery normally but even he left half his. I ate two mouthfuls and just couldn’t stomach any more This report is going to trading standards and the health inspector. It wasn’t even worth 1 star. No wonder the car park was empty

Went for a midweek pizza and carvery to The Alma at Upham. Food was really lovely. Ordered a red wine by mistake and the waitress changed it without question. Great service. Really good experience

Visiting relatives who are local to The Bells of St Mary’s in Prestatyn last night, all 5 of us were appalled by the service we received.
We placed our order via the app QR code at 7.30 at night, but were advised all pizzas were sold out. We were not advised by staff.
After waiting for 20 minutes for our drinks and carvery tickets, we waited until 8.15 when we queried where our one non carvery meal had got to, we we were informed we should have gone to the bar and they would have told us there was a sixty minute wait for food.
We then went to the carvery where we found a smallish piece of gammon and a very small piece of beef. We asked for some more meat, only to be told there wasn’t any more because they do not serve food after 8.00 at night.
Obviously, we asked for a full refund, but the service was awful! How could it be our fault?
We will never use this place again! If I could award it with less than one star I would have done.

I went to the Lord Louis in Plympton with my partner and mother in law. We ordered fish and chips and a beef sandwich which came with roast potatoes. The peas were rock hard , the fish was curled up into a circle and it was about a centimetre thick. Terrible batter as well. The bread on the sandwich was stale and it looked like it had just been thrown on a plate. The accompanying roast potatoes were pre-cooked (like Aunt Bessie’s). I would have complained if I could find a member of staff to complain to. We won’t be coming here again

I don't think they could cut the meat any thinner. More meat on a budgie than what I got on my large carvery.

Me and my family came to the pub next door to camp site order two carveries and fish and chips serves was poor and didn't tell us they only had turkey and didn't want it so my wife had to wait 45mins and both finished out meal me and my daughter. After asking for third time and asking for a refund food appeared. So staving my wife ate it .we will not be returning after this experience it was shocking poor is too good word for this please do something about it you loose more customers.

The meat portions on this visit was very poor - the portion was not much bigger than a rashin of bacon and i had to ask for more which i was told that is the amount they have been told to give! Making you updrade to the larger plate in the future - no human require the amount of food you can fit on a large plate! Everyone infront and behind me in the que commented on the size of the meat portions and all said they wouldn’t be returning 🤦‍♂️

Ordered 3x unlimited build your own ice cream for the kids to be told when they tried to exchanged their ticket for a bowl. They were told that the ice cream machine wasn’t working! Turned out it was just out of ice cream and hadn’t been refilled! Kids were given a tiny pot of ice cream from the kitchen instead 🤦‍♂️

I will go else ware next time

The meal was easy to book on their website. 10% blielight discount on weekends and 20% Mon-Fri.

Usually don’t mind this Stonehouse restaurant in Little Melton, Norwich but my meal yesterday was awful. The Roast Beef from the Carvery was so tough and fatty that I couldn’t eat the meat and I think the veg had been sitting there for quite some time. The two guests with me thoroughly enjoyed their Pizza’s.

Me and the wife go for breakfast sometimes on a Friday morning. The last two times we've been was a bit disappointing. Dirty plates, weird tasting coffee, unavailable food, way overcooked dry items. We also went for dinner last month for the specials, to be told they weren't available and to order something else. After ordering alternative more expensive meals a family across from us get served the specials... 🤔

Absolutely faffy gluten free food - ended up eating carvery 45 minutes after approaching bar to place order.

No gluten free vegetarian options apart from some of the vegetables from the carvery.

Then a 20 minute wait after family had their meal for a cheap gluten free bistro type gravy served in a coffee mug.

Whist waiting I noticed the kitchen and serving staff were prioritising sending out meal deliveries rather than serving pub customers.

Top tip - don't bother with Stonehouse if you have a gluten allergy - business is more concerned with getting you to sign an illegible waiver than providing an actual meal.

Refused serving me for no reason at all, was polite but he was the complete opposite

When arriving sat down and ordered after ordering my father in law was told no Gammon has not be ready till 4pm has he ordered Gammon eggs chips so had order something else and upon getting carvery stood there for 15 mins has no staff to be seen to serve it the only member wasnt trained to do carvery. The meals werw left standing for 5 mins before brought over from serving hatch only meat really left was the turkey and beef but that was at the end signs need be put up of they haven't got any thing on the menu and a sign staying there is a ramp near entrance was not told there was a ramp until we were leaving staff didn't know how to use staff didn't really care about customers this is stone house Wootton ryde very disappointing

The Fox Stonehouse carvery Walmley both ladies were exceptional. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience today was very well looked after. Thankyou for sorting my daughters free ice cream with her child meal ☺️

Can only give it three stars because the offerings are very variable.
We tend to go for an early lunch because all is fresh. Leave it till after two and the same offerings are looking very sorry for themselves.
Has been through a bad patch, we have cancelled our order twice after seeing what was on offer in the early evening.
Bit swings and roundabouts, generally ok more recently.
We go about once a week and had good meals recently by going early.

The carvery on sunday was £3 more just because it was fathers day, the usual price is £9.29 so, £12.29 for luke warm dinner, the potatoes were not fresh, the cauliflower cheese was just hard cauliflower, the meat , well, what meat ? the overall experince was nasty, the cutlery was dirty and so were the glasses, we were crammed in with limited time to eat, the overall experince for the extra money was not very special at all. utter greed ! would give 0 stars if I could
