Stopped in for half a pint with a friend on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Got a parking fine because I didn't put my reg into their parking system. We entered via the side door and didnt see the machine, which is at the front entrance. £70 for a pint in 2 glasses... wouldn't recommend

We visited the newly refurbished restaurant on Friday . The outdoor area is lovely this will be a great place to eat out in the summer months with the new lighting . The car park has all new parking bays marked up.
Inside is just as lovely the new tinted windows will be a treat when the sun is beating down . The seating areas have all new furniture and the new two person booths are a nice touch.
The decor is perfect . The staff as always were extremely welcoming and helpful and made are visit a great experience.. Carvery was wonderful , piping hot & we had two new desserts the lemon meringue sundae and the strawberry one ( sorry I can’t remember the name of it ) both were lovely ..
great value for money and a lovely place to eat .. congratulations to all the staff , managers and construction team for their efforts in getting the restaurant open so quickly & the wonderful decor chosen . Definitely as much visit restaurant this summer .. x

The Carvery at Owler Bar (Holmesfield/Sheffield) pre-booked and had excellent table. Very helpful and friendly staff and the carvery was excellent, delicious and very good value - my friend and I, both in our 80s were delighted - thank you.

I recently visited The Red Lion in Barnet with my wife for the mid-week carvery offer. All they had on offer was a dried up portion of gammon and a few leftover scraps of beef. When I asked when the turkey would be brought out, I was told by 2 members of staff that "there would only be gammon and beef today". As a direct result of this, my wife who only came for the turkey, had to order something else from the limited menu choices. I decided to stick with the carvery, expecting at least that a fresh joint of beef would arrive. When I finally went to the counter, there was still no sign of any change in the meat department. On asking a member of the kitchen staff, I was told that a new joint would be coming shortly. After buying some drinks at the bar, I returned to the carvery to see the miraculous appearance of a large whole turkey! This deception ruined our visit to The Red Lion which used to be a favourite local restaurant. Now, not only is it looking shabby but the service and food have gone down hill.

Dreadfull food! Whitestake, recently renovated building but not the food! Absolutely awful! Difficult to say anything good about it. We live local and hoped for improvements but sadly it seems even worse than before!

I ate at the Wolverton Stonehouse carvery after reading the feedback on here I had my reservations . However I was pleasently surprised at how good the food was and the standard of the staff who gave great service with a smile. I paid the £ 12.00 and was happy after I was advised to download the app for discounts on my next visit. I can't believe people were moaning after paying £ 6.00. Perhaps they should Foxtrot Tango to McDonalds.

When this morning trave 15 mile use the place a lot but very disappointed bacon very cold and had to wait on eggs so all cold not good need to buck you idear up no apology frome staff

Disappointing, paid extra for large with extra meat an got the scrapiest wafer thin piece of meat, no good for a child let alone a man, half a pot of gravy, cold, I thought I'd have a change from the Sussex arms in Twickenham but definitely won't bother next time

Email arrived offering £6 carvery so myself and two friends attended but once again very disappointed. The young lady who served the meats deserves a medal for serving the thinnest slice of meat anyone could achieve. There was no taste to the slither of turkey or pork. A gentleman nearby asked for some pork and was promptly told you've had your meats it will be very tiny to have pork. How embarrassing to hear that. The stuffing was all dry the gravy served alongside vegetables had massive pieces of onions in it and only one gravy over where the sauces were but it was empty at 1pm. There needs to be staff watching for this happening. The carvery should say £6 Small Carvery not make it look like it is a good offer. It was not worth £6 in my opinion. Very poor.

The carvery was on offer at £6 throughout this week with the storehouse app..
The staff were excellent & very friendly .. Louise the manager came round to ask if we had enjoyed our meal.
The bar staff were lovely chatting about drinks, The lady Chef on the carvery was chatting to my mum as she served her meats .. The food was excellent & all nice and hot and fresh ..
The tables were all cleared & clean & all staff were very helpful and friendly.. Highly recommended. I will be returning very soon .. thank you to all staff for making the experience lovely .

The cook only give me a small slice of meat and when asked why . she had a bad attitude with me infront of other customers. And refused to put more on . Even customers said this was out of order. I felt bad and ashamed I had payed £18:18 for just vegetables and mashed potatoes

Sorry, the carvery was inedible, well I paid to only eat 3 mouthfuls. The Yorkshire pudding,mash.carrots were fine. The turkey was pink,the pigs in blankets and roast potatoes tasted of awful fat,couldn’t cut or chew the sprouts so hard. Used to be my weekly dinner place years ago. Lovely guy on carvery alas….the taste and condition of food was really disappointing. Felt too awkward to complain about the waste of money.

Tried the stone house carvery

I received an email from Stonehouse with an offer for the carvery at my local pub, The Radford Bank. I rarely go there because it really isn't a great pub but thought I'd try it out. We walked over to the pub, found a table, looked through the menu and queued at the bar. It was 7pm. When I finally got served, I was told that the kitchen closes at 7pm? There was no mention of this in the email. No signage in the pub. The opening hours on Google said food was served until 8pm. What a complete waste of time. Never again.

Had a couple of takeaway pizza’s everyone should order on a Tuesday as always great food excellent service and bargain price.C u next Tuesday

Definitely need to get a decent coffee machine. Coffee is absolutely appalling.

Was seated promptly. No cutlery had to find staff member to help.

Whilst waiting for the carvery, the chef didn't seem happy, lady in front asked for one selection of meat and was given 2 slices and she asked for a third. Chef didnt seem impressed.

I had the beef and 3 slices. Quite fatty and bland.

Moving on to the vegetables, stuffing as in most places is dry even had an extra addition of a feather. Sprouts were chewy, roasts looked amazing, until the lady picked up the random ones outside the dish without gloves and plonked them back in! Turkey and cranberry sauce lovely. No gravy, asked and was replaced.

Must say Josh is a great addition, such a lovely person and his smile made it

Called in today for a so called carvery!!! Meat! chef couldn't cut it any thinner but he tried bless him!! !Sprouts looked and tasted like marbles! Roast potatoes rock hard probably brought out again from earlier! Requested some fresh to no avail as we expected!! Sausage rock hard! And to top it all up it was luke warm!! So for that reason we will not be returning any time soon!!!!
