Brand new stairlift installed stopped operating 19 days later.
Phoned Engeneers to come fix it, turned up but didnt have the part to fix it.
Still not fully operational and we wait for it to be fixed.
Not the service we expected for a new installation.

Six monthly check was fine. More notice would have been helpful (45 minutes from phone call). Engineer seemed competent and efficient, unfortunate that when asked a valid question regarding noise of lift made a ‘throw away’ answer of seasonal differences. It is quite upsetting being spoken down to in your own home whatever age you are.

A quality product
The stair lift is well designed and built. Twelve months after the previous maintenance visit, it required no repair or adjustment, only a little routine lubrication.

Friendly and efficient service
The service was quick and very efficient. The stannah rep was very knowledgeable and friendly, explaining the whole process. We also had an electrician and plumber contracted by stannah who were equally efficient , not to mention the chap who installed it. everything was done in a timely fashion. I would therefore recommend them to anyone.
