I can only give this experience one star for the 3D rendering of my room. I have specific things I wanted in my room design, most important to me that I stressed in my survey was a specific color. The site has a long detailed survey that I spent hours working on. Per their questions; I gave detailed answers to describe what I wanted to see. The survey section is very lengthy and it does not have a back button and if you do not know you are at the end it finalizes and locks up. I had to contact the site to tell them I was not finished and they unlocked it for me. The quick response time is included in this one star rating. Once the survey was completed I did get contacted once to clarify some items in my survey, but not from the designer who was going to work on my project.

After that communication, I got notified a couple times that my design was in progress. It took the full 14 days to receive. This is where everything FAILS! The room design did not incorporate the few things I specifically requested especially in terms of color. She did not use one spot of my preferred color. NOT. ONE. SPOT. of it. The designer also selected furniture in a finish that I specifically stated I did not want. Overall the design was completely off the mark on so many levels.

I replied to the designer my dissatisfaction. I am actually angry I spent so much time on the survey. I don't know why they even bother asking any questions at great length, if the designer is not going to even incorporate the most important request. Props for the designer, she did respond quickly apologizing and said she will review my survey and draft up another design. It took another 7 days to get the revision. It was laughable to get almost the same concept with one single item added in the color I wanted. ONE SINGLE throw blanket in the color I requested to be my main pop of color. I could go on about how frustrating this experience has been.

I would NOT recommend this site if you have any specific ideas about what you want to see in your room. If you have specific needs, do not count on them being included. Don't spend a lot of time doing the surveys as the designer do not even read it from what I can tell.

If you have no ideas, no specifics and really starting from complete scratch, and do not want to include any color, this could work for you. This was a huge disappointment and waste of time.

I was very hesitant at first but I decided to give it a try. I am very happy with my decision. Excellent customer service from the Spacejoy team. I am a super picky person and I can never make my mind up, but the quizzes helped when it came to finding my style. The questions are very helpful because they truly get to the point of what exactly you are looking for. I loved the concepts that my designer- Angela came up with. I like clean and modern but with glam and that's exactly what she delivered. I have two little babies and most of the pieces had storage which is
huge help. Reaching out to her is super easy and we were constantly communicating. Angela was very reassuring I emailed her MANY times and she always responded. I loved Spacejoy and the concepts that Angela chose so much I decided to redecorate my foyer.

So just to be perfectly honest, I absolutely hate both designs that I was just presented with by Spacejoy. Like it could not have missed the mark more. I've been extremely unpleased with how they have literally no communication from the designer throughout this process, which is insane to me. Then she comes up with that design that is so off the mark and doesn't reach out once while planning it to get a sense of what I'm looking for? Questions about my interests? Personal Style? Anything? I can stress this enough NO communication.

Just an astonishingly bad finished product. I honestly don't want to wait another week for a design revision and I'm requesting a full refund. Beyond a refund, I just want to also express my deep frustration and disappointment with how long this process took for such a horrid result. A refund is great and all, but now I have over 2 weeks of my time completely wasted, which I can't get back.

I have got my living room designed by Spacejoy. Please ask for Casey Davis if you can. She was fantastic and so patient throughout the process. I was not very sure about the theme that i should go for and when i spoke to Casey, she really understood what i was looking for and also suggested few things. Thank you Casey for doing a fab job! I highly recommend Spacejoy if you are like me who is struggling to design a room.

I have no creativity. Working with the designers at Spacejoy made designing my living space a breeze. The 3D designs really allowed me to view how the layout would in its totality. It helped me take the guess work out of what furniture sizes would work just right in my small space. Loved the experience.

I am so thankful for Spacejoy! We just relocated and downsized, selling almost all of our furniture. I had no idea where to even begin when it came to designing a cohesive space, let alone a beautiful one. After contacting the team at Spacejoy all my uncertainty went out the window. They provided me with a directive questionnaire to get a sense of our preferred design styles and the space in which we would be residing. We wanted something cozy and straightforward, but also asked for some glam and color- and they delivered!!! We had them design two rooms in our apartment (master bedroom and living room). After seeing the rendered images online, looking through the suggested product list, and confirming our final design with the stylist, we were good to go! Spacejoy seriously made it so easy to see our new place become what we didn’t even know it could be. They were quick to answer our questions and even provided links for easy purchasing with their partner companies. Seriously cannot recommend them enough!

We have been wanting to update our living room for a long time, and decided to get professional help due to some unique challenges in the space. Lis developed 2 very wonderful plans that addressed our needs and stayed within budget. We could not be happier with the end result. All revisions were done quickly, and everything selected matched our style. The space is everything we ever wanted thanks to Spacejoy and Lis.

Spacejoy is a great online interior design company that I will use again. I have been living in my house for two years and was having issues decorating because I have a hard time envisioning how everything should come together. I would find ideas on Pinterest but still had difficulty figuring out how to incorporate the things I like into my space. Thankfully, I came across Spacejoy during one of my online searches for interior design ideas. My designer, Annika, did a wonderful job creating the spaces I wanted. I used Spacejoy on three different occasions and somehow lucked up and Annika was my designer each time. My first design was the Open Living/Dining Room. I already had a new living room set but was having trouble with the layout and choosing accessories. She placed the furniture in a different layout that I did not think of – plus added accessories and end tables to pull it all together – it was perfect. My next design was the Entryway/Hallway which I wanted to include family pictures and a small table. My hallway is small but when I saw the design it just made the area pop. My last design was the Home Office/Study Design. This room is totally empty because I wasn’t sure what to use it as but since Covid, I have been working from home, at my kitchen table, so I thought this is a good opportunity to turn this room into an office/sitting room (I didn’t want this room to be just an office) When I shared my ideas with Annika, she did a wonderful job. Once I saw the finished design, I was in awe. It is beautiful and I just love it. On one side of the room, is a wall desk, the other side is a nice sofa. Also, included in the room is a sideboard (cabinet), beautiful art work and rug. She also incorporated a color on the walls that I would have never thought to paint… Tarrytown Green by Benjamin Moore. The colors I usually choose are off whites or beige, but this color just brings the room together – it’s warm and inviting. I just love this design. Spacejoy is great and I am sure to use them again.

My designer was wonderful. She worked with me until we came to a design that I loved. My only concern is that many of the items are out of stock or no longer available upon receiving the design. There are many items I would have purchased on the spot had they been available. Aside from that the process was simple, quick and a great experience. I found that things went quicker and smoother upon having direct email contact with the designer.I would suggest having that interaction from the beginning! Thank you!

I just received my designs from Spacejoy and am blown away! I never expected the renders to look so realistic (if only my house was this clean in real life). I already had the bulk of my furniture; but needed to tie it all together after going through a remodel this fall and was getting stuck on lighting and all the details. My designer nailed my style. I honestly expected to go through a few revisions before landing on the right design but Laura nailed it on the first concept. I will definitely use again when we are ready for the Master Bedroom!

Spending so much more time at home this past year really made us take a good look around our home and it became clear that we had stuff but no style. Our designer, Laura W., really took to heart all that we were looking for and completely transformed our living room and home office. We could not be happier with the results and are so excited about having Laura W. help us realize how incredibly fantastic the rest of our home can be!

Just OK...

I bought the Bliss package with multiple revisions. I opted for the " Open Living room/dining area. I have an apartment that has open living /dining. I assumed the designer would design the entire space. She only designed the living room leaving the rest of the space untouched. I also still have no idea who my designer is as she never actually communicated with me. There was zero communication- no emails, no App responses. I had no idea my designs were done. I happened to check after 8 days later in the app and there they were. Although I liked the designs, i was disappointed that the dinning area was left untouched and i never got any more revisions as described in the Bliss Option. I made some changes via the app and "sent to designer" I never got a response. The app takes some time to get used to as well. Unless you are really stumped on what to do with your space I would not recommend it.

Elizabeth has been wonderful. We are currently redesigning two rooms and she has been so responsive, informative and incorporating all feedback as best she can. Very very friendly as well!

We really liked using SpaceJoy, especially since we have such a hard time envisioning our space. They really organized it and gave us wonderful ideas for functional space use. Ordering from them was fairly easy, however, next time, we will probably order several things ourselves just so we can control pick-up in store and other options better. But having all the websites searched through and then organized is so worth it, let alone the actual design ideas. They saved us a ton of time and headaches just by getting all that done. Thank you SpaceJoy!

I thought the timeline for delivery was great and the pieces selected were great! Will definitely use the service again.

I really enjoyed working with Spacejoy on my living room design. My designer provided 2 great initial design concepts, then we worked together on 4 revisions from there. She was very responsive, patient with each revision, and provided me with great suggestions for furniture and decor that I have since purchased for my living room. I'm using Spacejoy again to design my home office now!

Spacejoy took the hassle out of deciding how to decorate my new home. By finding great new pieces to complement my old furniture, I was able to see a true rendering of my new rooms before even moving in.

I really enjoyed my experience with Spacejoy! The quality of the design exceeded my expectations by far. I really loved the 3D renderings. My designer met my needs and made sure my style was represented. When I needed a revision, my designer took my feedback and incorporated it into the revision. It was a great experience and I look forward to designing more rooms through Spacejoy!

Designer listens to what I like and don't and helps keeps the design in line with my tastes. They also offered some different configurations for my space that were thoughtful and I really liked, ultimately I went with one of their configurations of the furniture. I also really liked the back and forth chat on revisions, they took some links I sent and added to the 3D room space so I could see better what it would look like and offering their feedback when asked for their opinions with alternative choices. The only drawback was the length of time it takes to create the options and make changes since I'm trying to furnish a new space that I recently moved into (although not sure if I'm just being a bit impatient since I am looking at the bare room everyday).

So impressed with spacejoy! My designer understood exactly what I was looking for and created something I could never have come up with on my own! Can’t wait to use on every room in my house
