Yes it's busy pre-May 1 battery rebate transition, but was looking for quotes (not before May 1) in WA on three phase new solar + battery. Not a difficult site. Was first told it's a busy time so I would only get 2 quotes, then it was 1 by email (received, with ongoing hard sell). When I asked about other quotes I was referred to a generic website of installers.

Recommended Installer Process broken
Your only one (instead of 3) recommendation never got in contact. Don’t get me wrong, your website and newsletter are excellent. I decided to contact a local electrician to do a quote to install a charger

One installer was recommended
One installer was recommended, although I expressed a reluctance to install a particular battery brand, the 2 quotes I was given were for this brand. I replied with a couple of simple questions, with no response, and when the stipulated end date for the quote was reached I was still without answers or further communication. So I have since accepted a quote from an installer I found for myself. Disappointed, but still a long time fan of Solar Quotes, the info you provide is fantastic. I also understand that at the moment the market is very busy with battery installations, so installers probably don't care if they miss a couple of jobs.

Poor feedback from solar suppliers
I only had one quote given to me by a solar provider over the phone. It was well beyond my budget and need. Another one said they only supplied batteries of a minimum of 12 thousand dollars. My place is small and my quarterly bill is less than 200 dollars so I just can't justify this expenditure here.

A very useful resource
I appreciated the large amount of unbiased information on the website. I requested three quotes for installation and supply of an EV charger, but the resulting email only contained one potential installer - apparently because all other local installers registered with Solar Quotes were busy. I am very happy with the company recommended, and the installation.
