DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS FROM OTHER RETAILERS, ONLY DIRECT.
They offer zero support for THEIR products if bought from other companies.
Our remote was accidentally thrown out during installation and they refused to help in replacing it. I suspect it is because they don’t actually have any accessories in stock. Which means if you lose your remote you have a fire that is now manual switch or nothing. No luck finding one on Amazon or eBay either.
Luckily I only bought one of their cheap ones for a property refurb, I now have a brand new £150 fire that is going in the bin.

We would like to clarify that your purchase was made through Debenhams rather than our Smallbee store. As different retailers manage their own orders, payments, and after-sales policies, replacement parts and warranty support are usually handled by the retailer where the item was purchased.
This is not a matter of refusing support, nor is it due to a lack of accessories in stock. It is simply because we are unable to directly access or manage orders placed through third-party retailers.
That said, we genuinely regret the inconvenience this has caused. If you could kindly contact Debenhams’ customer service team, they should be able to assist you further regarding replacement options.

The fire works well and it was a very reasonable price. I ordered 50 inch 3 in 1 electric fire with realistic led flames, media wall fireplace. There is a remote, extra stones and screws for wall mounting.
It has 3year guarantee. Can't fault them, I would recommend them.

Excellent Customer Service.
I purchased an electric fire for my media wall but realised it was too big before it had been dispatched. It was too late to cancel my order, so ordered the correct size and contacted customer service to arrange a return. The courier company was terrible and it took 3 weeks for them to collect my order but the customer support from Smallbee has been excellent. They have responded to every query and followed up on everything that I’ve needed them to. Customer service is always key in online transactions and Smallbee are doing a great job at this.
