Ordered a Fireplace on Monday 27th…
Ordered a Fireplace on Monday 27th October, had a promotion of free gift with it, Susposed to retail at £99.99. Email of despatch via Royal Mail of free gift. Received Free gift, If I'd paid £99.99 I would have sent it back, absolute rubbish. Christmas wire metal boxes with LED Lights and gold bows, 2 bows missing, covered in glitter , just look at it and the area is covered in shiny stuff, worth about £10. If you'd like to arrange a courier I'll send it back. Well anyway emailed customer services on Tuesday ( 8 days later ) to chase Fireplace, got automated response to track via courier website. Did so, 2 details, first order received in Bolton, despatched to K , yes K, on Monday. Very helpful. Tried to phone said couriers 6 times on the mobile supplied, no answer, emailed , no answer. Emailed Smallbee again , so they can chase this up, since my contract is with them and not some courier company. No reply. Can't ring them because they don't have phone lines. So I will ring my credit card provider tomorrow and get my money back. Will never use this company again, customer service non existent, if you have a problem with stock, let customers know, it's not hard, even update your website, don't take money then go silent, and expect the customer to do all the work. Buy from this company at your own peril. Don't believe the positive amazing customer service , I did, can easily be fake.

Regarding the free gift, although it was complimentary, it is the same quality as the item we normally sell. We’re very sorry that the one you received arrived with missing bows and did not meet expectations. Please get in touch with us so we can arrange a replacement or another solution for you.
As for the fireplace, we sincerely apologise for the delay and the lack of tracking updates. We have already contacted the courier and asked them to arrange delivery as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we weren’t notified by the carrier about any delivery issues, which is why we were unaware of the delay earlier.
We understand your frustration about the response time. While we don’t offer phone support, we did receive your message yesterday and have replied. Due to a high volume of enquiries recently, our responses have been slower than usual, and we truly appreciate your patience.
Please rest assured that we are a reputable company, and all positive reviews are written by verified customers. We are committed to resolving this matter for you, so please reply to our email and we will continue to assist you until everything is sorted.
