Pulse soap dispenser broke within a month and have tried to contacts simple human 4 seperate times to try and resolve corroded and broken soap dispenser. First had to send a photo, then they requested a video, then I was emailed a link they sent to replace the product that I had to fill out again. (but the link didn't even work on multiple browsers), then I emailed them again only to get an automated response saying my claim had been resolved.. Awful. Have been a simple human customer for years, but after this no more.

Don’t believe the fake reviews on there site either this is where the real reviews are. This company is a joke and so is the warranty. They charge top dollar for a trash can they claim is high end, that’s BS. The so called stainless steel trash can is just a fake coating that will rub off if you try and clean it with a magic eraser sponge. Warranty won’t cover this but if it were really stainless this would not have happened. Cheap product for a high price.

No phone support, is SH going under?
Have owned SH products for years. Always known for high quality products and if something went wrong, could always get excellent phone support. Now have problems with 2 Round lighted mirrors. They no longer light up. Performed all troubleshooting instructions on their web site. No luck. Tried to contact a person at SH. No phone support any longer. Tells me there's problems with SH.
The worst; pointless; idiotic service
The worst, useless customer service 'support'. They don't listen or give realistic support. I called asking where an order was because the tracking information showed 'item received' for over two weeks. They told me the order was delivered and I should look around my house to find it. They looked up an order from 4 months ago, not the current order - they didn't even ask for the order# to begin with. STUPID. IDIOTIC. NO customer service
Simplehuman has no customer service
Simplehuman does not honor promises to provide expedited shipping and they don’t give refunds. Also, they add fees that aren’t disclosed or justified. They appear to have outsourced customer service to contractors who do not have access to company records or authority to correct problems. There is never the possibility of speaking to a person by phone. The owners are just squeezing the company for money until the gig is up. I don’t know why the California attorney general doesn’t pursue them for fraud.

I ordered a white trashcan when I looked at the email they sent me it was a chrome trashcan. Trying to head this off,. I sent them an email, informing them of their mistake, requesting that they change it back to the white one that I wanted. I got an email back eventually the next day from a BOT they could not handle the problem. Of course I received the wrong trashcan and tried to contact them. There is no way to contact this company even though they offer you Chat and texting it is all done by computer and the chat never even responded. Frustrated and annoyed, I simply returned the two items which I now have to drag to FEDEx and will never order from them again. Their customer service is awful and as my wife said it doesn't even exist. If you want a computer run company where you do all the work this is it, if you want service for your dollar go elsewhere.
Bad Products and Poor Customer Service
I too have received poor customer service from simplehuman. I purchased a dual soap dispenser from this company and one of the dispensers did not work right out of the box. I filed a complaint with simplehuman and was told I would receive a replacement in 2-4 weeks. After 2-4 weeks no replacement and now they tell me April 26th, which is 2 months and 10 days. I am not holding my breath. I purchased this item based on good reviews from Amazon and Honestbrandreviews which I found to be misleading. I filed a complaint against all 3 of these companies with the Federal Trade Commission and the CA State Attorney General's Office (Simplehuman is headquartered in CA). I believe consumers should protect themselves.

OMG I can't tell you how awful their customer services you cannot speak to a real person they actually make you send a video if somethings wrong with your mirror they make you send the product back in a box and so far they have not send a replacement. I hope Neiman Marcus knows about this because they sell their products, and I will make sure that they do never ever again.

Horrible products and even worse employees. I have bought several trash cans and they quickly become faulty!! Warranty? Thats a scam. They made you jump through a million hoops and then disappear on you. Good luck getting meaningful help
Sensor Trashcan
Bought the voice and sensor trashcan thinking it was a great product, boy was I wrong. Waste of money! Batteries drain super quickly even after you try the troubleshooting tips on website. The plug worked for a while and now no longer works. They sent me a lid replacement and the lid opened super slow but was ok with it since it was semi working. Now it is having same issues batteries drain fast and plug doesnt work, contacted CS and they dont seem to care, not everyone buying their products have money to waste. They want a video, how do you show a video of batteries draining?! I am so mad that I wasted my money on this product. Buyer beware

The release of this technology appears premature so wait for a competitor to interrupt this failure and try the next solution.

Misjudged the replacement trashcan lid that I ordered. Went to replace and recognized I was outside of the return window and acknowledge this but requested an exception. This was denied, I know policies exist for a reason but $200 trashcans need better CX.
Auto ship nightmare
I had an auto renew subscription set every 6 months. I got an email at 3am 6 Feb 2024. They were letting me know I had an auto shipment set to go out. I didn't receive this email till 8am 6 Feb 2024. At which time I logged in and canceled the auto shipment. I didn't receive an email back till 7pm 6 Feb 2024, stating I had to cancle my order within 10 minutes of getting the confirmation. Who is up at 3am to get that email. Also, why did it take almost 12 hours to get a response. In that amount of time the order could have been canceled.

The mirrors with sensors start failing after a while. They dont work without the charger and do't turn on even if youe nose tuch the glass. on another hand the light goes on for hours when I am not near.
There is no person you can talk about the issue ("human" part of the name disappeared already ) because the phone numbers I could find buried in a web simply disconnect by itself , so it is not "simple" to connect and get help or advice. I thing this trend of eliminating phones and human contact has to be stopped. I am not willing to talk to AI or spend hours to chat .
Overall Simple Human do not deliver on many fronts, especially on human part.
My trash cans rust, soap dispensers are not that great ( I have several). This company is going down the drain , and very soon people will stop buying this super expensive but substandard products.

Been trying for over a month to have a trash can they agree is under warranty replaced. I ordered a new trash can after waiting so long and it arrived with huge dents and missing the recycle bin. I completely agree SH has NO customer service. The only recourse is to stop buying these high end products from them
