Overpromise and Underperform
I ordered a trash can and it said 3 to 4 weeks for delivery. Almost 4 weeks later, too late for Christmas, I had to contact them to see where it was. No response. I waited a few days and contacted them via text. They said it would be another 3 to 4 weeks. I canceled and won't do business with them again.

Simple Human has terrible customer service. I will never purchase another product from them for that very reason. I ordered a product from them in November and their carrier delivered it to the wrong house. I had the hardest time getting a hold of Simple Human and when I finally did it was via chat and the woman said the item was delivered and they had proof of delivery. I asked for a photo and sure enough it was delivered to the wrong house. I asked that they re-issue the item so I would have it in time for Christmas and she refused saying she would only file a claim with the carrier FedEx so they could investigate it. So Simple Human refused to provide me with the item I had paid for nor would they refund me my money. The woman was very rude and said the claims get handled quickly...this was over a week ago...I doubt I will ever hear from them. I ended up just filing a claim with my credit card. Such a terrible experience. If you decide to order something from them you better hope you receive it.

This company has horrible customer service, I worth email, texted, left message, went to online chat over 10 times, never get reply! A quality issue product over $200 suppose have 5 years warranty covers, but there no way get in touch with them!
No I don't want a THIRD DEFECTIVE PRODUCT
I purchased a foam pump. Within a week it stopped working and kept shutting off. After dozens of attempts they finally agreed to replace it.
The replacement pump arrived and in a short time it too was shutting off all day and night
I've tried to reach them but they now have no way to contact them. They have a phone number that goes to a recording telling you to use the chat feature. But nobody is on the chat. They put you in a fake waiting line that never ends. And if you get phone call or your screen saver activates, you're kicked out
I sent a text to the listed number. No response. Then an automated message said type a message and someone will respond in 1-3 days. REALLY??
This company clearly has no one working there. They claim to be in the US but now that seems unlikely. This is how China based companies respond to inquiries

We have a lot of simplehuman products. They are pretty decent but you pay for that. I've reached out to support 3-4 times no with 0 response.
I will now consider there to be no warranty or support on simplehuman products... because so far... there isn't.

SIMPLEHUMAN, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - Trying to purchase a 45L trash can since 11/28/22 today is 12/9/22 and finally got a hold of them today at 12:15 pm. ( I texted the phone number listed on the website, emailed them, waited in the queue for 65 ahead of me). This is because their website would NOT send an activation code to my email. I truly hope NO ONE buys from this EVIL company! The would NOT give me the price of the day I tried to contact them even though I have proof (emails, text msgs) -which would have been $45.00 less the original price

I bought few of simplehuman trash cans but this one I bought and it broke so I contact warranty department and they made up a lie saying it's 2 years warranty but its says 5 years on my trash can. I send a video explaining about that's going on and I haven't heard back from the warranty company. I wouldn't recommend simplehuman products. Company it self don't care about their products or making a customer happy. I give half a star!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m have the same issues as previously stated. My wall mount sensor mirror isn’t a year old and stopped charging. I can not get any support from Simple Human, no reason to emails or chats, and of course no phone number to call. For the cost you expect better service. I’ll never buy another Simple Human product again.
Worst customer service experience
Worst customer service experience. No phone number. Talking to bots or receiving generalized responses. Wouldn’t refund the difference of items that went on sale within one week of purchase. Williams Sonoma does Restoration Hardware does Pottery Barn does Crate and Barrel does West Elm does. They told me to become a member even though I already am. Clearly ran by detailed focused intellects or just money hungry persons who don’t value the customer. This company lacks professionalism. Good luck getting a representative and then getting one that’s helpful. Am reporting to better business bureau and stopping purchases on credit card. I suggest you do the same if you experience awful service. The representative told me to return the items then repurchase. Can’t teach stupid. PS: Your products aren’t that great either quality wise after receiving them. They just look nice. Awful, awful service.
Don’t Honor Warranty-Subpar Products
Purchased a sensor trashcan in 2021 and stopped working a year and a half later. The trashcan has a 5 year warranty, so filed a warranty claim with Simplehuman in August 2022, along with pics and videos of the malfunctioning trashcan. Their email response time is slow (as there is no customer service no. to call) and when they do respond, they don’t deliver on their promises to resolve the issue. They had the replacement sensor/lid part in stock online (for sale) 2 months ago but continued to tell me the part is on back order but will be shipped soon. They hope you will give up on the warranty claim and stop emailing them and just buy a replacement product from their website with a “10% off” offer. As of 11/23/22, I still have not received a replacement part for my sensor trashcan as they promised under the warranty claim, and still stating it may take 3-5 business days for them to respond. DO NOT BUY THESE PRODUCTS OR DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!
I have a travel mirror, soap dispenser, wall mirror
I have a travel mirror, a wall-mounted mirror and a rechargeable soap dispenser. None of these items work. The soap dispenser was never used but the fact that it did not work was discovered after the return period had expired. The wall mounted mirror stopped working and was replaced several times but no longer works. The travel mirror was also replaced several times. Recently there is no way to reach customer service either by phone or chat. This company has good ideas for products but dreadful execution and non-existent customer service.

j'ai bien reçu ma commande, et la poubelle que j'ai commandé me change réellement la vie ! plus d'hygiène et moins de sac a changer. Attention a bien choisir le volume en revanche, les grands volume de poubelle ne conviennent pas lorsque l'on vit seul mais plutôt aux familles
Buy from another business.
This company is IMPOSSIBLE to do business with! You can't even get a representative on the line. You have to email them and wait for them to get back to you. The person responsible for new business is always traveling and takes WEEKS to get back to you. Extremely poor customer service. When you're buying hundreds of large trash cans and promised it would be here the following week and then another day and now we're still waiting, that's not good for business - no matter how big or small your company is!

My husband bought me a $300 Sensor Mirror Trio Max. It didn’t even make it a year. It has a 10 year warranty, but I can’t get any help, only messaged troubleshooting. I can’t get ahold of any real person. Basically will have to eat the cost. DON’T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!
Poor product and terrible customer service.
Bin started making loud noises within a year. Tried to log a warranty claim, using their chat system says it's a real person but it isn't. Went though all the bother of completing all the details. Complete waste of time, do not use their system as it doesn't work. Tried to call them, not in the slightest sorry for wasting my time. Very patronising and unhelpful. I used to like thier products and didn't have this hassle in the past. I do not recommend.

Customer support is unresponsive... After three months of emailing support, I still didn't get a replacement part... 10 years warranty is not working if you can get parts after two years... $200 garbage can is garbage and a waste of money...
Worst soap pump
I had nothing but problems with the Simplehuman Rechargeable Sensor Soap Pump. Since they changed the model, constantly clogging, battery running out all the time. A total nightmare this product so I do not recommend this product. Total waste of money and it’s not cheap.

J’ai acheté une poubelle en 2016 garantie 10 ans.
Fin octobre 2022 le couvercle c’est cassé j’ai contacté le sav au cas ou pour tester la garantie, le sav m’a recontacté très rapidement m’a demandé la facture d’achat des photos de la poubelle, ils ont traité mon dossier très rapidement et j’ai reçu le 03/11/22 une poubelle neuve en remplacement.
Cela ne m’a absolument rien couté.
Je suis très satisfait de la marque, du produit et du service après vente.
Matte black step pedal garbage can
I purchased a matte black step pedal garbage can in July from Simple Human. It is a $200 garbage can. This can now has bulging on the lid and sides from the inside out less than 4 months later. I have never had an issue like this with any other garbage can. How can it dent from the inside out? Simple Human will not stand behind their product and they refuse to do anything about it. Again, less than 4 months old! Shame on you Simple Human! I do not recommend this brand to anyone!
