UPDATE: Ich habe gerade mal geschaut, weil bis jetzt keinerlei Antwort, auch nicht nach Eröffnung der Paypal Eskalation. Angeblich war die Rückerstattung nun nicht möglich. Ich lache mich kaputt. Bitte lasst die Finger von diesem Online Shop, auch wenn ihr Fans des Labels seid!

Rückgaben sind alle katastrophal verlaufen. Es dauert 4-6 Wochen, bis man sein Geld zurück bekommt, OBWOHL das Paket längst angekommen ist laut DHL. Kundenservice antwortet immer gleich: Wenn das Paket angekommen ist, dauert es 14 Tage bis Rückerstattung. Meine Vermutung: man arbeitet bewusst mit dem Geld, bis man es zurückerhält. Ich werde nur noch über Mytheresa usw. bestellen, nie mehr direkt.

This is my first purchase with the brand directly. I have purchased on other sites for this brand and the sizing was a nightmare. This item was no exception. The dress arrived slung in a cardboard box, no With compliments slip, no tissue paper and creased to hell. I actually ordered one size bigger than my normal size, it came one size smaller. Cheap fabric, well over priced, and scrimped on sizing. £5 for delivery ( can’t help that) but £6 for return is just gouging the customer even made a profit on the return too! It’s for re stocking “ I was told. Shame on you for making the customer pay to have the item put back on its hanger! That’s your job! I usually shop at Myteresa. This country is street market standard. Avoid!!

Sono scioccata dal pessimo servizio clienti che ha un brand rivenduto dai migliori rivenditori e con i prezzi che hanno! (Per tutto poliestere, oltretutto!).
Sono in attesa, dal 23/06, di un rimborso da più di 1.000,00€, e nessuno risponde alle mie molteplici mail. Sono senza parole, mai successa una cosa simile.

Firstly, I love the clothes. From the extremely flattering shapes, to the high quality materials, to the unique designs, I'm always wowed when I try new dresses on.

But I'm also incredibly impressed by the customer care - care being a key word here. Any online purchase carries an additional risk - be it sizing, colours, feel - you only get the full picture once it arrives. I recently had an issue & it was resolved immediately- an order became unavailable. I was refunded 3 days later & was given a discount off a future purchase, as well!

Then, a prior purchase from a few months earlier had a belt problem - it was beyond the returns period, but with kindness and assistance that goes above and beyond, they offered me full store credit, as a gesture of goodwill.

Sono molto ma molto delusa dallo spedizioniere che utilizzano. Posye Italiane e' assolutamente inaffidabile. Dicono che non si e' in casa, mentendo spudoratamente, quando in realta' non vengono a consegnare. E' la seconda volta che mi succede. Sono una buona cliente e spendo molto con loro. Ora sono nella condizione di non sapere quando e se ricevero' il mio ordine di circa 500 euro

Really pleased with my order from Self-Portrait. It arrived well packaged and in perfect condition, nothing creased or damaged. Delivery was on time and tracking kept me updated throughout.

The dress itself is great quality and looks amazing, true to the photos on the site. Sizing was accurate too. Great experience overall and would order from Self-Portrait again!

Let op ook hier weer: onaangekondigde retour kosten náást verzendkosten. Die laatste zijn wel aangekondigd. Dus bij retourneren nog eens 12 euro betaling. Klagen helpt niet. Zij weten dat ze dit niet alleen in de algemene voorwaarden mogen vermelden. Prima jurken verder maar alleen iets kopen als je echt zeker weet dat het niet gaat terugsturen.

I ordered this beautiful black floral Georgette maxi dress. I received it fairly quickly, since I needed it the following week for my granddaughter’s wedding. I was very nervous about the sizing guide. It did not match up with my measurements. I’m not sure how the sizing guide works, but I trusted this process and ordered my usual US size 6. The dress fits absolutely perfect; there is not even one little ripple. This dress is absolutely beautiful and perfect. Thank you

There was an issue with my delivery address… wrong postcode entered so I didn’t receive my order on the specified day/time. I contacted customer service in a bit of a panic at SP & spoke to Yerim. She was polite & extremely helpful. She assured me she’d contact the warehouse/DPD & get the details updated & get back to me. Within the hour I’d had a message to say my delivery would now take place on Monday. Her customer service is outstanding. Many Thanks Yerim.

Earrings arrived in an opened condition. I returned them and requested a refund, but it was denied. To make matters worse, I even had to pay to have the earrings shipped back to me.

This was by far the worst customer service experience I've ever had.

The product quality also does not justify the prices. I ordered more than €3,000 worth of items and ended up returning all of them because the quality felt cheap and did not match the brand's premium pricing.

I am extremely disappointed with Self-Portrait. First of all, their sizing is completely unrealistic and inaccurate—the items run incredibly small compared to standard charts. For a brand with such high and expensive price points, their policies and customer care are honestly pathetic. They charge you for initial shipping, and if the item doesn't fit you (which is highly likely due to their wrong sizing), they refuse to cover any return shipping fees. On top of that, they offered absolutely zero support or solutions regarding the refund of customs duties and taxes. You end up losing a fortune just to try on a dress that doesn't fit. Truly an awful experience, I will never buy from them again…..

I ordered a dress for my partner from self portrait - it was delivered very promptly and the dress was beautiful. Unfortunately it didn't fit very well so I returned it. The tracker tells me that the dress was returned on 13th June and received by them on 17th June but I still haven't had a refund, despite emailing and asking for an update (without reply) - that's pretty annoying!

Very unhappy with the refund process. Self Portrait have had my return since 1 June and I’m still waiting for a refund. It’s well beyond the 14 working days I was told I’d need to wait. It looks like I’ve had a similar experience to many others who have left similar reviews. They even had the cheek to send me a customer satisfaction survey. First ever order from this co and absolutely 100% the last.

I visited this store recently and had an unpleasant experience. The shop is quite small, and while I understand that staff may sometimes need to address customers about their children’s behaviour, the way it was handled was disappointing.

The lady working there shouted across the store, asking me to control my daughter. I would have appreciated being spoken to politely and discreetly instead of being shouted at in front of other customers. A calm and respectful approach would have been much more appropriate.

Good customer service is not just about what is said, but how it is said. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling uncomfortable and embarrassed.

Best dresses to be found anywhere!…
The choice is large and the dresses I have are just fabulous. Wore a baby blue one for Royal Ascot and was stopped the whole day by people saying how nice the dress looked. Reasonably priced for great quality and glamour.

Retoure Katastrophal

Ich habe jetzt alle schlechten Bewertungen /Erfahrungen gelesen… Das ist unglaublich! :-( Ich bin sehr enttäuscht. Wenn ich gewusst hätte, dass den Retoure so viel kostet, 41,00 CHF und so lange dauert bis Sie sich zurückmelden, hätte ich nichts von Ihnen bestellt. Achtung! Ich habe mit Klarna meine Bestellung bezahlt, ein Kleid hab ich behalten und bezahlt und eine andere am 08.06.2026 zurückschickt. Sie haben mein Paket erhalten und bis heute den 22.06.2026 ich habe keine Bestätigung bekommen . Klarna natürlich auch nicht. Ich habe per WhatsApp und per E-Mail kontaktiert. Self-Portrait wenn Sie meine Bewertung sehen, bitte meine Retour bestätigen und Klarna Zahlung stornieren. Leider werde ich von Ihnen nie wieder etwas bestellen.
