We have had some difficulties obtaining what we need from candidates and the issues surrounding this but as soon as Simon took on our caseload things were resolved quickly, easy, updates on alternative workarounds...any way he could help he did! Fantastic asset to their company and always a delight to work with, highly recommend these guys and I cannot speak highly enough of Simon!

Had a lot of issue with documentation but Simon was an absolute legend and helped me get around them. He's been on the ball ever since I first emailed him and 100% know that anyone to deal with him in the future will be blessed! Thank you Simon!

I use secure screening services for a lot of a assurances, not always as straight forward but the live chat and every screening administrator are great, they are always so helpfully and chatty. great services from them.

They have been really thorough with the process not satisfied till they get what they have asked for. The comms have been clear and to the point

We have been using Secure Screening for a while now. When I have had to contact their Customer Service I have found them to be very helpful and knowledgeable. They have always answered quickly any questions or queries I have had. I spoke with Simon today who was very helpful and friendly.

I had reason to contact Secure Screening Services on behalf of an application. Siobhan, Screening Administrator, couldn't have been more accommodating. She took time to understand the issue I had, and did her best to find a solution that was the right outcome for both parties. She was both professional and courteous at all times. She followed up and returned calls/emails and totally managed my expectations and delivered. Great service.

I'm in the screening process for a new job I have been offered. They are very over the top in what they ask, they required my personal Banking PIN and ID to log into my online account, which is EXTREMELY intrusive. For sure there are other ways to verify? After all, I didn't apply for the MI6. My banking is personal information and I feel highly uncomfortable with some company having access to it. I don't even know how they will handle this data & if they will destroy the data after having done what needed to do, because they are not very transparent with this process. You get forwarded on to sub-contractors it seems to put in your bank details, which is confusing and overwhelming. It really scares me. I feel this is a violation of my privacy, for sure backed by law somewhere but I will consider changing my bank account.

My report was downloadable within a couple of days no issues.

Passed my screening but this is a cumbersome and tedious process. Also, they say on their email:

But ignored all of my various questions emailed to them during the process. Also, the Word doc sent to previous employers was poor, why not use a link?

I was also told during the process that 'reference can only be sent to an email address at the company named on the reference'. However, this is problematic if your reference has since left the organisation and works elsewhere. I was told 'but it needs to be at that company', well that's just stupid.

It should have been simple check and right to work confirmation but it's been slow, annoying, unnecessary detailed process which in other companies I work for (and they were using different suppliers) was a 10 minutes process, here you log in, then use the 3rd party of the 3rd party apps, you are giving so many personal details just because you are EU national with ILR and that should be enough, why asking for anything else where my ID is my passport and my credentials are issued in the form of share code by YOUR government. People like me don't have any 'right to work' document and they asked for that. Also, this British thing about those 'references' should be really a thing of the past. Cloud computing, year 2023, digital identities, apps and they are calling my ex-manager who needs to remember if I worked for him 4 years ago and started in November? What is this?

I’ll start by saying I passed my references.

They are unnecessarily over the top.
My mortgage applications have been easier than this. I was offered my current role and accepted on the basis that it would start once I returned from travels. Started the new job start of September and only two days ago (November) did they start asking me to prove I had travelled. Why now? By proof I mean sending in my flight details which I did straight from airline apps but no, that didn’t have the year 2023 in there 🤦‍♀️

Probably great for employers but for employees, it is OTT.

First, they use a website for the screening that doesn't even work properly. Uploaded information goes missing, failures on saving information, no user friendly, among others. The system used for ID verification doesn't work either, I tried to use my passport, my id even my driving license and all where rejected without any explanation. I ended up contacting them directly by email to send all the information requested (super unsafe and unprofessional to share this kind of information by email). They took more than 3 weeks to come back with a response, and they told me that my reference where not good enough since the person doesn't work for the company I used to work before, something which is really common when you ask for 5 years experience reference.
Totally not recommended!

Nearly 4 months of wait!

I am using their 'pay as you go' service, so no idea if it's different but I have had a check open since 11/01/2023 and it has still not been completed.

I understand some people can take a long time to respond and it's not the provider's fault but there should be a cut-off period where if someone does not complete a specific section, then it should be closed and highlighted as a discrepancy. Then the HR team can follow up with the applicant rather than remaining open for 4 months.

I do want to iterate that their customer service team have always been helpful and easily contactable, hence the two-star rating but waiting nearly 4 months for a check to be completed is atrocious.
