Scentstore Ignored My Messages Until I Posted a Bad Review
⭐ 1-star review update — £742.05 paid, still no parcel or tracking
UPDATE: Scentstore finally responded but only after I posted my negative review.
I want to make the situation absolutely clear.
I placed order #529301 on 9 September 2026 for £742.05 (7 perfumes) and paid for Express Tracked delivery. I received an email from Scentstore stating that my order “has been dispatched.” My account also shows the order as “Completed.”
However, I was never provided with a tracking number, and the parcel was not received at the UK delivery address. The recipient also checked with the concierge, who confirmed that no parcel had been received.
Before posting my review, I repeatedly tried to resolve this privately. I emailed Scentstore, contacted them through Facebook and attempted to call them, specifically asking about my order and requesting tracking information. I received no response.
Interestingly, once I posted my negative review on Trustpilot, Scentstore suddenly responded publicly.
Their response now claims that there was an issue with the delivery details and that they were unable to safely fulfil and dispatch the order.
This directly conflicts with the email I received from Scentstore stating that the order had been dispatched, as well as my account showing the order as “Completed.”
So I am asking a very simple question: Was my £742.05 order actually dispatched or not?
If it was dispatched, provide the tracking number and proof of dispatch. If it was not dispatched, explain why I was told that it had been dispatched and refund my £742.05 immediately.
I find it extremely concerning that my private requests for assistance were ignored, yet a response was provided once the matter became a public Trustpilot review.
I will continue pursuing this matter until my money is refunded or Scentstore provides clear, verifiable evidence of where my order is.
I would strongly advise potential customers to exercise extreme caution before placing a high-value order until this matter is properly resolved.
