Sage Homes Recenzje 

Just had the annual subscription fee through from Sage Homes, its gone from £658 to £742! £84 per month more! When people are struggling around the country, Sage thinks it's a great idea to increase it by nearly 13%. I thought shared ownership was about making it affordable to get on the housing ladder....surely this, on top of the mortgage monthly fee makes it cheaper to actually buy your home with a normal mortgage rather than use companies like Sage, who rip their clients off. That along with the completely rip-off maintenance fees means, I will seriously start looking for a mortgage to pay it all off. Sage also over-estimate the value of the house, ours was independently valued at £20k less that Sage's valuation but they wouldn't budge on the price.

Handled the complaint perfectly. Was tackled within a couple of days (it was sent on a Sunday) and I have been updated by emails and phone calls. I feel happy and secure in the knowledge that Sage are doing all they can.

Update September 2025 - Review October 2024
Following a lengthy process of sorting out all the defects within my new build home.
I would still not recommend purchasing a new build from Sage Homes.

I would also like to give a review of their contactor H I S that Sage uses.(David Wilson Homes only fixed a handful of defects themselves)
I would review them as a 1 Star too, this would be down to the lengthy time it took to correctly fix a defect. Long delay in ordering parts and materials and bad workmanship.

Plus maybe a criminal act which will be passed onto the police since my last complaint wasn't upheld.

I have no further interest in them fixing any other issues under the warranty, I will go straight to the NHBC in the future.

While it's taken over a year amd multiple attempts to fix the defects, the issues I have regarding my last complaint has now been passed on to the police, which also includes my trading standards complaint

Christine Giles is a very friendly and approachable lady. She was able to answer my questions and concerns, and explained everything regarding my tenancy well.
I feel so lucky to live in a beautiful, safe home and have the security I have always dreamed of for my family.

Initially this company were extremely unhelpful in what was a very difficult and highly emotional situation. Officers I spoke with were unfriendly and incredibly judgemental and unhelpful until I was finally put in touch with Melanie Hart who finally helped me to achieve what was required. She was empathetic and did everything she could to try and resolve an immensely challenging situation, answering numerous queries with patience and clarity. She was a shining star in a company that otherwise clearly did not put its tenants at the forefront of what they do.

Parminder Aulakh from Sage Homes Financial Well-being Service has gone above and beyond to assist me with benefit claims. She has been extremely patient, and her empathy and compassion towards me has really improved my self-esteem. Thank you Parminder, you are a lovely lady and fantastic at your job!

Kym Boyle was absolutely amazing! After not being listened to for a long time, Kym took over my case and got everything dealt with in a short matter of time! She listened to me and helped me and guided me through the process that was going on regarding my repairs. Over the moon with how caring and understanding Kym was! Fabulous employee of Sage!

Contacted Sage Homes due to an issue that was preventing me getting to my gas meter. Once the query was picked up (within a couple of days of submitting an email) it was passed over to the relevant department within the same day and the subcontractor came and resolved the issue the next day. Super happy with the quick service and for Lynn resolving this issue so quickly.

Sage homes deal with my daughter’s flat in Bishops Stortford.
She is trying to sell the flat and they are deliberately stalling a land registry form for her solicitor.
They do not return phone calls and I have just spoken to a person who was obnoxious and put the phone down on me whilst I was trying to explain the situation.
He was rude and uncaring.
The flat is Two years old and has not been registered.
It is a disgrace. My daughter has lost her job at the end of August she will not be able to pay her rent or mortgage.
They are a disgrace to business and have no compassion.
