Took part in the Glasgow Swiftathon. What a cracking family atmosphere all the way through the morning. So nice to see so many first time runners having such a great time.

Great organisation - flexible and helpful
I signed up to a Swiftie run and then had an injury so have had to change my plans, as I can't manage the distance at the time I booked (soon I'll get better, though). What a great organisation for being helpful and flexible, and bending their rules somewhat to make it work for me.

Thank you for your feedback! Both of us (the co-founders) have taken part in plenty of running events over the years, and like everyone else, we've sometimes had to miss them for various reasons. We know how disappointing it can be to hear “No refunds or transfers—see terms and conditions,” so we always do our best to accommodate runners when unforeseen circumstances prevent them from attending.

Excellent well organised race
Excellent well organised race. The venue was perfect and would have been good if the weather was poor as there was plenty of room to shelter
Toilet facilities were excellent
Marshall’s were super helpful and very encouraging
Plenty of water and fruit provided before and afterwards. And was topped up to ensure all 10k runners had access, which can happen in events that the later runners miss out
The good bag was great and so was medal
Well done you listened and learnt from previous race
It was hot and sunny and so that helped with logistics

A Really Fun Run
A really fun run. I was worried about attending having seen the Battersea Park reviews, but I'm so glad I went! I collected my race bib there without a problem, postal delays meant it didn't arrive at mine until after the run. Taylor Swift music all the way around the run, the lookalike was more for the children in my opinion, nice to see them all dancing along. Prizes were given out for best dancers/outfits. I swapped bracelets with other Swifites, of all ages! People walked, jogged, ran and sang their way around. This run wins best goodie bag, beautiful TS medal, In My Running Era bag and bracelet, a TS keyring and stickers. They obviously took on board any negative feedback from the previous run so please go if you're sceptical, you will have fun in the most bizarre way ever :D

Hi Laura,
Thank you so much for this lovely review — it honestly made our day! We’re really glad you gave it a chance despite the concerns, and even happier to hear you had such a fun time.
It’s great to know the music, medals, and Swiftie vibes hit the mark — and we love that you got involved with the bracelet swapping too! We've worked hard to improve based on earlier feedback, so it means a lot to hear that those changes made a difference.
Hope to see you at another Swiftathon soon!
Warm wishes,
Ryan & Emma 💜
Very Fun, Well Organised and Inclusive 5km
Swiftie 5km in Lee Valley velo was very well organised and wholly inclusive for ‘non-runners’ and great for children to try their first race. The goodie bags and medals were excellent. Wonderful volunteers on the water station/ bag drop and loved the energy of the hype man before the race and the music on the way round. The Taylor ‘look a like’ wasn’t brilliant - she didn’t know most of the words to lip sync but it didn’t ruin a very well organised event.

Hi Rachel,
Thank you so much for your lovely review — we’re really glad to hear you had a great time at the Swiftathon at Lee Valley VeloPark!
We really appreciate your honest feedback about the lookalike. We’re always working to improve, and comments like yours help us do just that. For our upcoming runs in Manchester and Glasgow, we’ve hired two different lookalikes, as our London performer isn’t able to travel to those locations. We’re committed to finding the perfect Taylor tribute for each location/event and will keep refining until we get it just right.
We’d love to see you at another run soon!
Best wishes,
Ryan & Emma 💜
Super well organised
Super well organised, with water stations, runners with boom boxes and stations with more music. Highly recommend.

I ran the Swiftathon 10k at Lee Valley…
I ran the Swiftathon 10k at Lee Valley on 31/05/25. It was a perfect race and a lovely day. My number had not arrived in the post, however that didn’t matter as I was given a new one (plus safety pins!) within less than a minute of arriving. It was a very well staffed event so you always knew where to go. Bag drop was very organised so I felt safe leaving my items with the team. The DJ was great. The race itself was a lovely track to run (although not as flat as I was anticipating!). The marshals were fabulous, dancing and cheering everyone on. Major points to the girl in the white hat who had lovely energy and the girl in the heart glasses at the water stand who never stopped dancing. At the end we had lovely bags of Taylor themed treats handed out including our medals. Picking up our belongings was very efficient due to their organised system. I can’t fault the day! Other than my legs are jelly today!

Hi Lucy,
Thanks for your lovely review — we really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts! We're thrilled to hear you had such a good experience.
Hope to welcome you back at another run soon! 🏃♀️✨
Absolutely outstanding!
Absolutely outstanding effort by all involved - from the registration, the DJ, the music, the lovely people staffing the water station and the staff en route cheering us all on, with TS blaring from their speakers, smiling and a waving their encouragement .... Followed by medals and a goodie bag. For anyone who went to Battersea - #runfanatics_ learnt from their debut era and smashed it at Velo Park!
Special shout out to Ryan for coordinating such a memorable event! If you are a Swiftie and one of these Swiftathons come to your neck of the woods - I thoroughly recommend it!

Having attended the Battersea Park…
Having attended the Battersea Park event and being very disappointed we gave it another go at the Velopark today, running the Taylor Swift 5K. I am SO glad we did, I have never known anyone to take on feedback like they did. They considered every bit of the event and a number of changes were made. The event ran very smoothly - without fault. The atmosphere was fantastic with LOTS of Taylor Swift music and a fantastic warm up that was accessible to all. The music came with prizes for best dancing which was a completely new component. The run was clearly marked out with marshals throughout offering positive support and music, there were also organised runners with speakers playing songs! The goody bags were brilliant, especially the Taylor themed bracelet. I honestly could not fault the experience and I will definitely attend future events organised by Run Fanatics, well done guys! 💪🏻🎉🙌

Went today (31.5.25) and had the absolute best time! The event was so organised, the staff were very polite and water stations were at perfect locations! They had a taylor-lookalike which kept the hype up! All around an AMAZING time 🥰

Battersea Park Swiftie run - TERRIBLE …
Battersea Park Swiftie run was hands down the most badly organised event I’ve ever been to. Zero organisation, no music, zero vibes, barely coordinated staff and delayed by 45 minutes. No communication with staff and participants. Very expensive rip off. I emailed the organiser with feedback but of course I never received a reply or apology and here I see that negative reviews are also being deleted. Doubtful that the positive ones I’ve read are actually genuine.

Hi,
Thank you for sharing your feedback — we’re truly sorry to hear that your experience at Battersea Park fell short of expectations.
We completely understand your disappointment and want to acknowledge that, as our very first themed event, there were several operational challenges on the day — from delays at the start line to audio limitations and communication gaps. While over 1,300 people attended and many shared positive feedback, we know that some aspects didn’t go to plan, particularly for those further back in the queue or expecting a festival-style atmosphere.
Since then, we’ve listened carefully to all feedback — including yours — and have made significant improvements. At our most recent Swiftathon at VeloPark on 31st May, we introduced posted bibs to remove registration queues, upgraded to a full professional DJ and sound team, added 10 roaming music guides, clearly marked start zones, improved goody bags, and restructured our marshalling and staffing processes. The feedback from that event has been overwhelmingly positive and we’re proud of the progress we’ve made.
We did offer you complimentary tickets to the VeloPark event so you could experience these improvements first-hand but we did not receive a response from you.
Regarding your comments about fake reviews and deleted feedback — we’d like to clarify that we do not delete or fabricate reviews. All reviews, whether positive or critical, are welcome and help us grow. Many of our recent positive reviews come from returning runners who attended both Battersea and VeloPark, and who saw the difference for themselves.
We remain committed to learning and improving with every event, and we hope we’ll have the opportunity to change your mind in the future.
Warm regards,
The Run Fanatics Team

I did the Swifty 5k and it was an absolute joke how badly it was run. The communication was non existent and there was a 45 minute delay in starting. We had no music and no goody bag. I've never been to such a badly organised race!

Hi,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback — we’re genuinely sorry to hear that your experience at the Battersea Swiftie 5K didn’t meet expectations.
As our first themed event, we encountered several challenges on the day — including delays, sound limitations, and issues with on-the-day logistics. We fully acknowledge that communication could have been clearer and that aspects like the music and goody bags didn’t come together as planned. For that, we sincerely apologise.
We took all the feedback from Battersea very seriously and made significant changes ahead of our next event at VeloPark on 31st May. These included mailing bibs in advance to remove registration queues, hiring a full DJ and sound team, introducing 10 roaming music guides, and improving the goody bags with items like themed bracelets, sweets, keyrings, and stickers. The difference in atmosphere and organisation was widely recognised by returning participants.
We’re continuing to build and improve with every event, and we hope you’ll consider giving us another try in the future.
Warm regards,
The Run Fanatics Team
