Awful customer service and a ridiculous AI live chat facility on WhatsApp. Order a pair of boots size 42 and they sent size 45. Requested an exchange but they don't do them, so sent back for a full refund. Revivo eventually refunded minus return postage. I have been chasing the remainder of the refund for 3 weeks now with no response. It's not a lot of money but it's the principle of it when it's clearly their error.
I love the idea but customer service is bad.
Within 6 months, the shoes already were letting go of the soles. I contacted them, very quick reply that they were going to look into it but after that I am being completely ignored.
I never normally write bad reviews but I have been trying to get hold of someone to do a refund for 10 days and no one is getting back to me and I only have a month to return. Im really surprised as returns with vivo barefoot as so smooth and efficient. I don’t know why revivo is being so hopeless. I’ve messaged about three times and heard nothing. Please please get back to me :))) I’ve never had this with any company!!
I was really scared when I saw all these negative reviews, especially after ordering a Tracker Textile FG2 in Excellent condition. I ordered EU42 size, which turned out to be too big for me so I returned it hoping to get a full refund and then ordered another pair of the same boots in a smaller size. Posting the return went smoothly, but the new pair of boots took a bit of time to be shipped, so I asked support what's up with it. After the usual AI rounds I got to talk to Martina, who informed me that my order is being shipped and all is good. Then she confirmed my refund and I literally received it while talking to her.
I received the second pair today, the condition is excellent indeed.
Shoes came back to me dirty with wrong style and colour of replacement laces. For almost the cost of a new pair of shoes (UK resole and refresh £80) it's absolutely not worth it. Tried to complain but they don't seem to answer emails or their Whatsapp message service, and the website chat is just AI now.
FRAUD. SCAM. don't trust. Been chasing for a refund since mid-October (which makes it more than a month and a half now) no one replies to email (they use Zendesk ticketing system and they close tickets without helping customers). No one answers phone calls; the chat is a joke. An alleged "Martina" claimed my refund was processed when in reality it wasn't. DO NOT TRUST. Report to the authorities ASAP.
Revivo delivered a defective product and an unusable support system. The shoes began failing almost immediately. Every contact attempt routed into a bot loop that pretended to escalate but produced nothing. Two and a half months passed with zero human response despite a supposed 100-day money-back guarantee. The guarantee is functionally meaningless, the support is non-existent, and the product quality is unreliable. This is a company that takes payment and abandons the customer. Never again.
I sent a pair of my husband’s shoes to be repaired but they came back in a very unsatisfactory state - the sole has been glued on very poorly with bunched up gaps. This is not what should be expected for paying £60-80! I have tried to contact Revivo several times (6 in total) over the course of the last 3 weeks and on all of their options but have only had one response (on Instagram) to say that they would “flag it up” but have had no follow up response and that was some time ago! We have been buying vivos and getting shoes revivo’d for a couple of years now but never again. So this is very disappointing - Do not use this company because if there is an issue with your order they will simply ignore you! Shocking customer service, that revivo/vivo barefoot should be ashamed of for the amount they charge.
Stitching on sole repair broke after a couple of months, shoes are unwearable. Emailed customer services and tried to contact through online chat, but all I got were AI bots who would not progress the issue. Requests to speak with a human were ignored. Shockingly bad customer service.
I ordered my shoes over 3 weeks ago, but when I go to track my package it's been stuck as 'Sender despatching item' that entire time. There has been no update since then.
I have tried contacting customer services repeatedly, but have never got past the AI bot which has been completely useless. It even started talking in French to me.
I previously bought a pair of shoes with Revivo and loved them, am so so disappointed they've let me down so badly this time around, as much as I love the product I genuinely don't think I could ever buy from them again, or recommend them. Helaas is de ervaring de laatste tijd dramatisch achteruit gegaan.
• De website revivo.com werkt niet goed: wanneer ik schoenen aan mijn mandje toevoeg, krijg ik “Added to bag”, maar het mandje blijft leeg. Dit probleem treedt op in meerdere browsers en toestellen.
• De AI-support is zinloos: ze stelt herhaaldelijk dezelfde vragen die ik al had beantwoord en stopt daarna gewoon met reageren.
• Ondanks herhaald contact krijg ik geen menselijke reactie.
• Ook de kwaliteit van de schoenen is merkbaar verminderd ten opzichte van vroeger — zolen slijten sneller, en de afwerking is minder degelijk.
Jammer, want de barefoot-filosofie blijft sterk. Maar zonder goed werkende webshop en menselijke klantenservice verlies je klanten die jarenlang trouw waren.
Ik hoop dat iemand van het Vivobarefoot-team dit leest en actie onderneemt: herstel de website, verbeter de communicatie, en breng de kwaliteit terug op niveau.
Purchased a resole and refresh, shoes were returned unclean with the incorrect laces. Seems like no effort was made to repaid the shoes either. No response to any outreach, avoid!
Bought two pairs and one was sent with laces that were no more than some frayed pieces of nylon string. In the photos they were shown with a buckle. I asked for them to either post a pair of real laces or buckled laces to me or give me a £5 refund so I’m not out of pocket buying a replacement set of laces.
Tried to do the return procedure but it won’t recognise my order and when I asked for further help, they have ignored me for over a week and since I cannot just send them back as they don’t recognise my order number and email I am stuck in this loop of not getting any reply’s via email, the AI chat saying it can’t help and I need a human to do this but no human replies.
This company is a dumpster fire now and I don’t ever recommend them any more if you can fit alternative barefoot brands. The moment I find a brand that fits my misfit like vivo’s do I will stop using them right away
Revivo sent me the wrong shoes and when I emailed them on the revivo @ vivobarefoot.com address, I was told to return them via a link they provided. This turned out to be the Vivo returns process, and when this didn't work (because Revivo orders have an order number that isn't compatible with the general Vivo returns process) I sent several emails that went unanswered. In these emails I had also asked if the correct shoes would be sent out. After a few days of no response I then opened a second ticket by emailing the same support address, and was sent the 'correct' returns link (for Revivo at least), but this included a step to confirm that I was happy to pay for the return postage (it would be deducted from my refund). I sent a response querying why I was responsible for paying for a return when the wrong item had been sent, but I got the generic 'confirm your email and order number and we'll get back to you!' email and then ghosted when I supplied that info. This was the second time a line of conversation went silent. In the meantime I have spent the same amount of cash again on the correct shoes as I didn't want to miss out on the style I wanted, so I have spent twice as much money and am struggling to return the wrong shoes. Today I opened up a third support ticket by again forwarding my original email confirmation to Revivo at vivbarefoot.com, asking why I need to pay for a return of the wrong item. I was told this must have been an error and given a link to some information, but that still doesn't work as it seems to only apply to Vivo purchases, not Revivo. I responded with this and was sent the same generic 'confirm your email and order number and we'll get back to you!' message which has now gone unanswered. At this point I feel I am unable to return these shoes as there's no way of doing this without incurring costs, which I on principle will not pay. I have never encountered such bad customer service and can't in good conscience ever buy from Revivo or Vivo again, nor recommend it to friends or family. Order number and email exchanges can be provided to support all of the above
Shocking customer service!
I received some boots that were too small and returned them following the procedure on the website. I had confirmation from Royal Mail that these had been returned to the address on the 10th September. It took 6 weeks for Revivo to confirm that they had received the returned boots!
During this time I spent hours on the phone, left messages, chatting to a bot online, writing emails etc in attempts to get my refund!
Eventually I had to resort to a chargeback claim through the bank to ensure my refund was initiated, which Revivo have now contested, despite emailing me to confirm they will refund the item.
Extremely poor customer service and will not be ordering from the website again.
I've been buying shoes from Revivo for a few years partly in the knowledge that I could them resoled later down the line. That time came and I sent my Ra II of for a resole. They came back and all seemed ok. however within a couple of wears the sole had pulled away from the leather revealing tears and holes in the leather upper, I also noticed a bunch of puncture holes in the toe box that weren't there when I sent them off. It seems they have damaged the shoes more during the repair.
These things happen right, I'm sure I can send them an email and we can get this all resolved. 6 weeks later and no luck. Their new AI help service is useless, I've tried countless times, asked to speak to a real human, sent all the details and nothing. Beyond useless.
Still waiting for my order of the 21st to be dispatched. After six working days, I would expect a message to let me know they're busy, or they're delayed, etc. I contacted customer services with my order number and received an automated reply which asked for my order number... Resupplied this with my email and name, and received another AI/automated reply asking for these details to be supplied if not already. i.e. Zendesk's/Revivo's attempt to replace humans isn't set up to actually read the incoming messages from customers. No human response yet.
Vivo is a great company with high quality products, so I was keen to support Revivo and try to be sustainable, but I'm regretting it now. This arm of your business is letting you down.
I would love to receive my order by 7th for a hike, but I'm not feeling hopeful now.
The customer service is appalling and by looking at other recent reviews it looks like I’m not the only one feeling the pain!!
I emailed for a refund based on a faulty item on the 16th Sept. No response so emailed again on 23rd Sept. Received a holding response on 24th stating “will look at this right away for you”. On the 7th Oct I emailed again as I had no response from the email on 24th Sept. Unbelievably I’ve still had no response at the time of writing this review. So currently I’m left with a faulty product. Referencing other reviews it looks like when I finally get a response, I’ll be waiting weeks for a returns label and then a further number of weeks for the payment to actually make its way to my bank. So at this rate I guess I’ll be lucky to see funds this side of Xmas!
My recommendation is to stay well clear of Revivo until the reviews start to improve.
Oje, da hätte ich besser zuerst alle Bewertungen lesen sollen :-((( Habe am 24.4.2025 meine geliebten Vivobarefoots zur Neubesohlung und Refreshung zurückgeschickt. 96 Euro wurden eingezogen. Meine Schuhe habe ich Stand heute am 22.10.2025 noch nicht wiedergesehen und mein Geld auch nicht!!! Wenn ich die anderen Bewertungen so lese, sind auf diese Betrügerfirma wohl schon mehrere Leute hereingefallen!!! So traurig!!!! :-(((((
