Since you have to give at least one star in order to write a review I will, but if I could give 1/2 a star I would. Ive read many of the great reviews but my experience with Regency Total Warranty has been anything but. Initially I thought it was a reputable company. The guy I spoke to reassured me they had excellent customer service, good companies they contracted with to fix appliances etc. Because I had heard of other people being scammed by other hw companies I considered myself doing my due-diligence. I was very specific with my questions such as we have older appliances do you cover those answer yes we do and if we can't fix it will replace it or give you other options. Ok great, I hate contracts phones , cable ECT. I asked would I have to keep the service if I wanted to cancel, absolutely not it's on a MONTH TO MONTH BASIS. So I signed up and for several months no problem. Then our built-in microwave starts acting up call to schedule someone to come out . The next day get an email stating we'll give you $95 for your built-in microwave! How about No. How about you send someone out to see if it can be fixed and if not then at the very least give us a fair amount to help cover replacement cost. I tried speaking with supervisor/manager only to be told someone would have to call me back. Finally I'd had enough. I called and said keep your $95 dollars and just cancel our service we don't want it. The CS Rep tried offering me several incentives to stay we I firmly refused she said you will have to pay $75 dollars. I told her I'm not paying anything and they better not remove anymore funds from my account. She then said well until you pay your account will remain open. Needless to say I just filed a complaint with both the Attorney Generals office as well as the Consumer Affairs. I'll go to court if they take one cent out of my account. I'm disappointed, disgusted and ticked off. I'd never recommend anyone get home warranty coverage through them based on MY EXPERIENCE. ITS BEEN A NIGHTMARE.

They communicated effectively and jumped on the issue almost immediately. I contacted them on Friday 4th of July regarding my AC being out and they filed the claim. Had an appointment by Monday to have someone come out to fix my AC by Tuesday. The process was seamless

I can't give a zero star or i would. They took three and a half weeks to get my claim looked at and then they denied it.

Im going to be suing this company to enforce the contract. Ive also turned them into the better business bureau for having a contract written to make it almost impossible to get anything repaired or a layperson to understand it

The claim process with Regency went very smooth and timely. My Complaint was the company that was assigned was late for the appointment and did not have any repair products on hand.

This company cannot get Techs in a timely manner. They were also misleading when the policy was sold . They are also unresponsive! They do not reimburse when you get your own technicians.

These reviews are not legitimate. This is a foreign company, when you submit a claim, they forwarded it to another third-party outside of your area, they advertise a tech within 48 hours the last two claims I’ve had to get my own tech, after waiting the 30 day waiting. I had an issue with my hot water heater. They couldn’t get a tech out there. I got my own tech. I had a $339 bill they’re telling me now they will only pay up to $175 that I have to wait three more months before they’ll pay a full bill or do any type of replacement on any item that was not stated when I purchased the warranty, I put three properties underneath them, I’ve asked to speak to a supervisor it’s the same person that answers the phone for the claims. I’ve reached out to the person that sold me the warranty. He is completely unresponsive. Do not waste your money on this company go to America home shield !

Helpful and informative

Regency Home Warranty has some of the rudest customer service I have ever dealt with. They talk down to you, dismiss your concerns, and make you feel like you are bothering them just by calling. On top of that, they low‑ball every claim, trying to pay the absolute minimum or avoid responsibility altogether.If you value your time, money, or sanity, run as far as you can. This company is not worth the frustration. I'm glad I got money and don't need them. Choose someone else
