The mechanic was very efficient and informative. We received a comprehensive report and he even called us to talk through some other diagnosis of the vehicle. This was great piece of mind as we lived a few hours away from the vehicle we were hoping to purchase. The only con was due to the location the mechanic could not test drive the vehicle over 60kms. So after purchase and the drive home we discovered some break and disc issues.

So convenient when buying from a long way away. Gives you piece of mind that it's worth making the trip and that it's been looked over by someone more knowledgeable than me about cars.

Service was very good. Perhaps make it a bit more obvious that battery health check is not included in lower price car check.

Luke did a great job of inspecting the vehicle and definitely helped with my decision to pass on purchasing the vehicle. The notes were thorough enough, with explanations for the ratings he gave each section. Great service for a peace of mind when looking at buying a used car, especially for those who don’t know much about the mechanical aspect of them.

I booked an inspection just out side of Sydney and Tom was my inspector, he was so easy to deal with and was super knowledgeable and honest with his review! Due to his extensive and in depth checks I won’t be buying the car but definitely saved me a headache! I wish I knew about this sooner and will definitely be using Redbook again! Thank you so much! Worth it 10/10

Very disappointing and unprofessional service. My **10:40 AM appointment was cancelled just 30 minutes before** with no proper notice. My inspection expires tomorrow, and this cancellation has put me in a very difficult situation. **Extremely poor customer service—would not recommend.**

Excellent, particularly considering my request for my disabled daughter, that report was required, as per scheduled mechanic visit, which was changed from Friday to Monday, and request was respected.
The report was also very honest and helpful. Thanks
