Wife has been trying to draw down funds for her fathers care.
He is now 2 months behind payments and it could have been sorted at the point of application.
Funds still not arrived despite months of calls and paperwork.
If you need funds quick to care for a family member this is not the company to deal with.
Advise your parents to search for another provider.

My 2nd call was not handled well and the person was not very cooperative or helpful in any way whatsoever!!!.
Customer Advisor was very helpful.
Pension payout
The gentleman that dealt with my query was patient, fully advised what I needed to do next and was polite.
Don’t bother trying to ring up unless you have loads of time on your hands!
Been with Reassure years but their new phone system is rubbish! 28 minutes i have been hanging on! They sent me out an unreadable cheque that I could not do online so took to bank 6 miles away to be told they cannot process it either! Had tax deducted for the first time too! What on earth is going on here??

This situation is now a month old and my elderly parents are no nearer to getting money out of their policy. We’ve had numerous calls and the service has been absolutely disgusting. My parents are totally stressed out, it’s making them ill.

A fantastic outcome with Rollo's help
We have been trying to obtain policy information to assist a client for many months. Unfortunately, the initial & secondary responses from Reassure were not sufficient. I called Reassure today and spoke to Rollo who was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and most of all, caring. He was able to obtain the information we needed quickly and went above and beyond to provide what we require in writing, without further delay. A huge thank you to Rollo for his help, he has made a massive difference and deserves to be recognised by Reassure for his approach to helping us and the client.

ReAssure pensions
I received a letter from ReAssure earlier this week to advise that there was not sufficient funds in my drawdown pot for my regular monthly payments to be maintained. I therefore rang them to request for the remainder of my pension pot to be transferred into my drawdown pot, so the the regular payments could continue. I was specifically told that this would be done and therefore my regular monthly payments would not be affected.
Today I received a letter from ReAssure and an extract is shown below,
"In order to transfer funds from your pension pot into your drawdown pot you would need to make a withdrawal of upto 25% of your pension pot and that would transfer the remaining amount into your drawdown pot. If you need any further help please contact us again."
I am not sure what they are trying to say, but it does appear that they are contradicting what they told me on the phone.
Unfortunately, I have another pension with this company, which I am not making any withdrawals from yet. I am not prepared to deal with this company again, so I will be transferring my second pension to another provider. ReAssure are extremely difficult to deal with, making requests for payments is very complex and in general terms they have been incompetent every step of the way.
I have given them a one star rating, which I consider to be generous, since there is no option to give anything lower.
