Update - Fixed after a complaint
I write this as someone who has bought two products from this company. The first one worked perfectly fine since 2021 before failing at the end of last year. Rather than fix it, I was offered a £300 upgrade to an apex charger. This was installed whilst I was having building works on my property, and so the installer did not hang the new charger. The charger was hung following completion of the works.
Upon first use, the new charger failed. Project EV sent out an engineer who said that the charger had been taken off the wall and this has voided my warranty. I explained that it had never been hung and following a call to the office they even admitted that this was the case as they had photos and a report from the engineer. By not hanging the charger it had got water in it causing it to fail. I was told that the only option available was to pay another £300 for yet another replacement.
Edit: I’m pleased to say that following this review, I was contacted by Project EV and after they looked at the picture of installation where the charger wasn’t hung, they arranged for a prompt replacement.

I had a fault with my charger which no longer worked from my app. The Project EV Team were quick to respond and helpful and sorted me out in no time.
Easy to use app and intuitive interface. Top-up and charge is easy.
I had poor experience with the ProjectEV charger and app in the past, so stopped using it.
Today, I thought I would give it another chance, with a local charging station.
The whole experience was smooth and pleasant. Having located the Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment in the app, it uses location services, I plugged the car in, pressed to start the charge and it initiated instantly.
The app gave real-time charging statistics, including price, so I could monitor the charge and avoid any overstay fees.
At the end of the session, the charge stopped automatically, I only needed to unlock the charge port.
Billing was clear and easy to access, top-up (including a very simple card scan which worked first time, the old card had expired). There is an auto top-up option, when your balance reaches a minimum of £2 you can top up using the default card.
I can definitely recommend downloading the app it gives you the opportunity to locate charge devices and charge/pay extremely easily.

PATIENCE PAID OFF.
ONCE I GOT THROUGH TO THE CENTRE , TOOK A WHILE, HOWEVER THE WAIT PAID OFF. THE ISSUE I HAD WAS SORTED, SAMUEL HAD PATIENCE SORTING MY ISSUE AND NOW ONLINE AND ABLE TO RUN THE EV CHARGER THROUGH THE APP.

Off line charging unit
My charger was off line which meant I could not take advantage of off peak charging unless I stayed up after midnight to connect the car to my charger.
I got through quickly on the phone & the issue was dealt with very efficiently.
My charger needed to be connected to an upgraded system. I can now programme off peak charging on my phone. Thank you
