I had never dealt with Private Tours England before, nor did I know anyone who had. Given how much we were spending for a customized day tour to several sites outside London, I was a little apprehensive. As it turned out, I had absolutely no reason to be! PTE’s excellent customer service began when I reached out to them about arranging a customized day tour. After telling them where my wife and I wanted to go, they put together an itinerary including those spots, and another they recommended adding. The were very open to my concerns about trying to squeeze too much into one day (we wanted to be able to enjoy the places we wanted to see leisurely), and, after a couple back and forths, we settled on an itinerary.

We were particularly impressed with our driver/guide, Kyri. He picked us up on time at our Airbnb in a very comfortable Mercedes mini-van, and even had croissants for us to enjoy as we headed out of the city. At all the sites we visited (there were 4), Kyri gave us all the time we wanted to look around; he never rushed us. And he went above and beyond to
make sure we had a memorable day. Since we were going to be out all day, we had asked for a lunch break to be scheduled into the day. Kyri could have very easily taken us to a crowded, rushed, touristy place for lunch, but he didn’t. He put in the effort to find an authentic English country Inn well off the beaten path so we could enjoy a truly unique experience. Between the heavy traffic, Kyri giving us the time we wanted to visit each site, and a lunch break that took longer than expected, we were over an hour late getting back to our Airbnb. Without any grumbling or complaining from Kyri or PTE. They really do exemplify excellent customer service.

We would use PTE again in a heart beat!

The day after our trip we realized one member of our party had lost their passport. I texted Calvin and he immediately went, found it, and then drove 2 hours into London to get it to us. This made it possible for us to complete our trip with only a slight delay and was completely above and beyond. Thank you!

We were fortunate enough to have found Private Tours England and tour guide/driver extraordinaire, Dean. Our first trip to London was made so very easy. We hit on most of the “must see list” and learned so much during our tour. We were even able to see some countryside and learn additional bits of history. Dean was so knowledgeable on all that is London and the areas we traveled to. Highly recommend his services.

Private Tours England customized a day trip for us to visit Brinkley and it exceeded our expectations! Graham was a wonderful driver and guide. He is jovial and told us great stories and fun facts. He was generous with our time and didn’t rush us from one place to another. For my dad, my son and me it was the trip of our lifetime visiting our family’s foundations and Graham is who made it all come to life. THANK YOU, GRAHAM!!
