Wonderful holiday in France and Switzerland. Outstanding organisation and support from Suzie, the holiday ran like clockwork .We loved every moment, the best holiday ever. What a fantastic holiday, totally stress free beginning to end. Trains in Europe will be our first choice in the future. We have just returned home after a 3-week bespoke train adventure meticulously planned and organised by Suzie. This was the first time we had tried this type of holiday and we would whole-heartedly recommend it. From the rough outline that we had in mind, Suzie did the hard yards in helping us craft a superb itinerary - Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Alassio, Peccioli, Florence, Bologna, Milan, Lake Como, Tirano and then the Bernina Express route to Strasbourg. A Zoom call before we left ensured that we were confident travellers. Suzie's expertise provided us with characterful hotels, great activities and well thought-through travel that rarely required an early start. On the very rare occasion that we needed a little help when on tour, Suzie was super-responsive with her support. My top tips are to put your holiday plans in Suzie's expert hands and pack light.

We’ve recently returned from two weeks travelling Switzerland and everything was superb! We had a FaceTime call with Suzie beforehand where everything was explained in detail for us. This was of course followed up in writing which we followed to a tee and everything went very smoothly. On the odd occasion when we wanted confirmation or clarification of something, we messaged Suzie and were answered within minutes. All the destinations, hotels and excursions were first class. There were so many special moments, from the hotel we staying at in Zermatt with the stunning view of the Matterhorn to the Lake Lucerne cruise and the visit to the magnificent mount Rigi. Having never visited Switzerland we left a lot of the planning to Suzie’s expertise and weren’t disappointed! We wouldn’t hesitate to use the company again or recommend to others.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday experience. The 12 days were extremely well planned with plenty of extra treats along the way such as boat trips, mountain trail train rides in the Swiss Alps and lovely hotels. Suzie was so friendly and helpful when we had any queries. We would really recomnend Trip Me Up.

Very well organised, from train connections to excursions. We particularly enjoyed the Alsace wine tour from Strasbourg, very good value for money. The Mount Rigi boat and rail trip is also highly recommended. Beautiful Montreux and its Hotel Mona was our favourite stay. The only real hiccup was the promised taxi links from stations to hotels which didn't work well for us.

Lovely venues / Spectacular trips built in ( The San Bernino Express is something else) / Great hotels / 1st Class trains everywhere / Organised to the hilt by Suzie- everything ran like clockwork.

We had the best holiday we could have hoped for, stress free as Suzie had organised everything and was at the other end of the telephone 24 hours a day if needed.All the hotels and the trips were fantastic and the trains were brilliant especially the Berninia express, I couldn’t recommend this trip highly enough.

An incredible experience – I’m so pleased! No words can describe how well organised the trip was. Suzie, the organiser, has been incredibly helpful and reassured me with all my worries, especially as I was travelling alone with my daughter. I had the best time of my life – the best holiday ever. The trip was well organised and the ticket app was easy to use, even for a 70+ year old! Hotels were well placed and all to a high standard. We enjoyed all the trips Suzie had arranged for us. I am trying to think what was the highlight of the holiday but there were so many - journey through the alps, evening meal cruise down the Seine, 2cv around Paris, Mount Rigi that I cannot pick one out.
I would say to older travellers pack lightly as we struggled at some stations trying to get suitcase on and off trains, although there were a lot of people in every country offering us help.

A big thank you to Suzie for organising such a super trip. Great trains all around Europe and a personalised itinerary. Invaluable support when we needed to make a small, weather related, change. Interesting trips out from each destination. We look forward to planning our next adventure with Trip Me Up.

From start to finish Suzie was excellent, listening to our thoughts, offering suggestions from her extensive experience and planned a fabulous trip that we thoroughly enjoyed.
She fully supported us throughout our trip and when we were forced to make a change due to an avalanche blocking a route Suzie was there immediately with a new plan.

From the video call before we left with Suzie, to the day to day itinerary, everything was perfect.

The train trip to France and Switzerland was superb, the organising was meticulous from the video call and all he way through the planning. The itinerary was so easy to follow, and from the trains to the hotels was all in walking distance. Now we are looking at further journeys by train and will definitely be booking through Suzie and Trip me up.

We have recently returned from a trip to France and Switzerland organised by Suzie. Everything went exactly as she planned for us. The trains were super comfortable with easy to find information at every station. Views from the train windows were stunning. So relaxing. Suzie’s day by day guide was a great asset for which we were eternally grateful. Every hotel was different but each was very clean, had helpful staff and a range of breakfast products. When i “lost” my tickets on my phone I contacted Suzie and they were restored with Chris’s guidance in minutes. Thank you guys. We were so impressed and will definitely be returning for another super trip.

From the very first contact with Suzie and Trip Me Up, we felt confident that our planned 8-day trip (March 7th to 14th 2026) from Bristol to Paris (overnight stay), onto Montreux, Lucerne, Strasbourg (all two night stays) and back to Bristol, was being expertly planned. All of the many Train journeys were meticulously planned and timed to ensure each leg of the trip went smoothly. Montreux is a delightful place to visit and stay, with the compulsory photo with Freddie Mercury's statue as you walk along the promenade to Chillon Castle, which is worth a visit too. Suzie had arranged excursions by Boat and Cogwheel Train to the top of Mount Rigi (Lucerne), as well as a 'Batorama' canal tour of Strasbourg on the day of arrival, plus a private Chauffer-driven (by the lovely Stefania) guided tour of the Alsace region on day-two in Strasbourg, along with a tour of an Alsace Vineyard and Winery, with many samples of superb wines, with local cheese and charcuterie included. We enjoyed every aspect of our Trip but the Golden Pass Express journey from Montreux to Lucerne, via a connection at Interlaken was exceptional, with stunning views of Snow-topped Mountains, seeing Downhill-Skiers, as well as passing through Lush-Green Forests and Valleys, with Turquoise Lakes amongst them; a truly wonderful experience. Suzie books everything 'First-Class' and the Hotels that she selected were all in perfect locations, with lovely, friendly staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. I Highly Recommend using Suzie and Trip Me Up, if you are looking for an amazingly well-organised Holiday through Europe, which starts at your local Train Station.

From before the trip started we received all the information day by day of what to expect. We had a zoom meeting to ask any questions we had and were able to print out all the information.
All train times and tickets were sent hotels were all of great quality and taxis were organised for us.
The places we visited were picturesque with so much to see and do. Extra activities were included such as Citroen car ride around Paris, roof top toor of the cathedral in Milan, boat ride in Strasbourg and the cog wheel train up Rigi.
