First project with Pixelz

A Pixelz product specialist helped me get started, and as the project went on, anytime I had a question it was answered quickly, thoroughly, and sincerely by their Global Customer Support Team. When there was a better way to do something, they brought it to my attention and were always kind in doing so.

My plan allowed for 200 photos per day, and each group of the roughly 1200 total were delivered ahead of time. Clipping paths were accurate, which was a must due to the industrial/technical nature of our product. Shadows were realistic, especially with casts. Despite the variance of our brand color due to various factors during imaging, all were corrected.

Thanks to how exacting one can be with the job specifications, it helped me complete 133% of the job’s scope at 79% of budget. Perfect that job specs could be saved for repeatable results in new projects. Thank you for such a time and labor-saving product and service!

Been a customer for 10 years and they never failed to deliver. And also that they have a simple payment system and you can as I sometimes do just send 1 pic and I will be billed just for the pic and no other charges!

As you might know, Pixelz is first and foremost a technology company that focuses on the post-production image editing space. Alongside this, we have built a suite of tools in your account that allows you to get the most out of our services. For example the rejection tool, advanced image viewer, and many more.

Great editing and fast turnaround time

I’ve been using Pixelz for years. Top grade editing! I do my own editing in PS most of the time but some projects can be cumbersome and time consuming so I hand it to Pixelz for stellar work and and fast turnaround time.

Great when you need it, but impossible to delete

The work produced by Pixels was great. The account service, however, was dismal. I kept trying to unsubscribe, but you had to stay subscribed for a period of time before you could put the account on hold -- and then suddenly you were charged again. There's no easy way to cancel your subscription. And, despite multiple emails with customer support, they kept charging me for subscriptions, even after my account had been deactivated. VERY aggravating.

**UPDATE 10/12/22 -- Several people at the company reached out and finally got the last charge reversed. Hopefully this is the end of it. The customer experience director called and collected my feedback on the situation. The issue is really with the way the website is set up. Their work is very good, exactly what I needed with a speedy turnaround.

Not Happy with the cancellation…

Not Happy with the cancellation process. I couldn't cancel the subscription from my account and had to contact them by email. After two times emailing back and forth with my request to cancel the subscription they still charge me.

First, looking at your account, I see that the subscription was automatically paused in April. This means that whenever we see inactivity in your account for one billing cycle, we automatically pause your subscription, so you pay only the Pause fee ($4/month) instead of the full monthly subscription fee. That is an update to the Pause feature that we launched earlier last year, understanding that for some of our clients, product photography is seasonal.

We’re normally known for our exceptional attention to detail, and we regret that we missed the mark in this case. After reviewing the case with our Support team, I see that it could have been handled better if we had followed up with you after giving you instructions on how to cancel your subscription and before the renewal date. This is on us.

We've requested a refund for the subscription fee you were just charged. Again, thank you for taking the time to give us this very honest review, and we apologize for any inconvenience it might have caused.

Very good at clipping but nothing more

Very good at clipping but nothing more. A lot of bugs and back and forth that put too much of a strain on workflow. Very expensive for what it can do.
