Ross packs in an abundance of useful information to the course in a clear and concise way, which would otherwise take far longer to source and digest. The supplied documents alone are a huge benefit and will save you hours of time creating them yourself.

I love the well-rounded approach that he takes, focussing not only on practical steps but also the psychology behind sales and marketing, as well as encouraging you to analyse yourself and your own mental barriers. Being part of the Facebook community is a great way to network and bounce ideas, for both technical and business elements.

I am always getting "business Guru" ads on social media telling me they have the "secret" to grow your agency. Every single one seems like a scam or someone that doesn't actually know. Until this one!

I have learnt more in the few weeks I have been going through this course than I did in my entire 2-year media course. It teaches you everything from the ground up and has given me the confidence to set a goal to reach within the next year and go after jobs and clients I would have never have reached out to before.

Not only is there all the business learning there is also a lot around actual production along with tones of documents to use in your business. Just the documents alone would be worth how much the course is so this course is of incredible value and Ross is super helpful. He is often reaching out to check in and hosts regular online meetings with people on the course. Honestly, I am so so happy I bought this course. If I could I would give it 6/5 stars!

It’s not just a course!!

Like most people, I was slightly sceptical at first about investing in this online course but it was one of the best decisions I’ve made for my business.

Your not just paying for the video tutorial your paying to be in a community that is full of like-minded people looking to make a successful production company. We don’t see each other as competition it’s more like collaboration, helping each other in different situations and having a bi-weekly call is so useful.

Ross is an awesome instructor, he’s always available to help give advice when needed and the thing that makes this course different is that it teaches you the business side of things that to me is more important than the technical side of things as there are loads of good video tutorials out there that will help you with that.

A great course on filmmaking and the business side of it which many do not consider. A whole range of information on all topics and great value for the cost - Also the bonuses of the super helpful community group as well as course documents to help make your business a success!

I loved the course, even as an experienced filmmaker there was so many nuggets of business information (which a lot of creatives struggle with) as well as motivation. Even though I have finished the course I continue to be part of the group calls where we all hold each other accountable and keep up to date with how the industry is changing.

This course covers everything you could possibly need to know. The information is really clear and ross does a great job explaining everything in detail.
I know that having a successful business is not just about being creative or having the best cameras but this course really helps you understand how to use your camera to create and capture content for both photography and videography and then how to implement that in a business setting to sign clients.
Overall, really informative and trustworthy. Would recommend!

I've been a member of the Perspective Studio videography group since the initial start-up and it has genuinely been an incredible help in starting up and running a production business.
The course material covers almost every aspect you might need to know from initial business plans to building clients and turning them into regular customers.
The documents that go with it can all be transferred straight to your own business and also help you stay organised behind the scenes.
But above and beyond that, the regular web chats with Ross and the whole group are honestly priceless. I've personally had numerous times when I've hit a problem or wall with the business, and have sat down and talked it over with the group and been given immediate advice on how to deal with it, from writing contracts, building computers to awkward customers. Having that face to face contact (over zoom currently!) is 100% worth the course cost alone.
I fully recommend it, and would be happy to chat to anyone about what I've taken from the course myself. I look forward to being a member for a long time coming!

I would say the best reason to go with the course is for its actual practicality to get yourself moving forward as soon as possible.

I had no idea before enrolling in the course how much there is to having a successful creative business but it all makes sense now! I guess you only know what you know but trust me there is so much useful information that ross tells you about which i'm sure 99% of people would have no idea existed. This course helped me understand how to make money from a creative business even though I was new to it and along with the ongoing support, has made it such good value for money. Best course i've ever come across.

I just barely touched the surface of the course (I only done around 10%) but I can already see it's really great in terms of practical knowledge, UK specific information (I don't think anyone else has this) and to guide people on their journey to don't waste too much time on things that are not necessary for success. Not sure how good the later lessons are (as they are not relevant to me yet) but if they're as good as the beginning lessons then this course is a really great investment for someone who would like to run a successful and sustainable videography business without overworking.

After saving some money up to purchase this course, I soon realised this was the best money I had spent in a long time. Ross does an incredible job at going into the fine details that nobody else talks about (without boring you which is a bonus) - after following this course and implementing the strategies into my own company for 2 months, I have bagged myself 2 video retainer contract clients - to anyone thinking about joining this family I recommend it more than anything. The community is fantastic where everybody helps each other in live Q&A’s, Facebook groups & more. Best decision I’ve ever made for my business.

This course opens up so many doors. So many solutions to problems that many creatives will find when they no longer rely on creating video to video but need to delve deeper into the business side of things to further progress their business. I cant recommend signing up to this course enough. The amount of extra help you get and the community you get to be a part of is worth it alone. The Q+A sessions are amazing when you find yourself struggling with a particular area of business and the Facebook group surrounds you with likeminded individuals all striving for the same thing who will help wherever possible. Give yourself a massive head start and invest in yourself. You won’t regret it.

The value from this course is crazy, for what you pay, you get a lot of content as well as document templates with tutorials for setting up your business which alone are worth a lot of money or even time if you was to make these from scratch! Nice to see a UK based video production company share their knowledge (first I've known of to do it).

Definitely recommend it to anyone looking to make the jump!

Best investment I've made so far! This course helped me understand the business side of things which is a complete maze for those of us who are new and starting up. I've only completed 3 of the modules and I've already learned so much and plenty of solid information on building the foundation of the business so I can only imagine how much more information is in the rest of the course. There's also a Facebook group where you can always ask for support. Highly recommend!
