I shouldn't have been; I was made to feel that my call was welcomed, and my questions were answered honestly and thoroughly. I was very sceptical but was very pleasantly surprised at the quality. The accuracy for a 54 year old watch is comparable to a quality new watch (-3 seconds a day). The condition of the watch is remarkable and at a glance looks brand new only showing age at close examination. I would definatly recommend this company.

It has been a long search to find a truly great 70s JDM Seiko 7017-6020, this model was famously worn in 1977 by MGR, the legendary actor turned Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu in India. Being a JDM, it was a rare one to find let alone in good condition. Over the years my extended search took me to many countries but without luck. When I saw it on past3presentwatches, glad I made that call to them.

Steve answered my call, shared his knowledge, gave me his honest opinion, and left it to me to decide.

I bought a Seiko 5 off Ebay which stopped working after 24 hours. Fortunately I got my money back without any problem, but it made me very wary of buying any other vintage watches. Then I came across Past2Present and immediately realised that this was a far better option. I think many of us budding watch collectors imagine that vintage watches just keep on running and running without any assistance but that’s simply not the case. Unless you’re able to service a watch yourself, a far less stressful option is to buy from a reputable seller like Past2Present - whose watches are not only fully serviced but also carry 12 months warranty. As many other reviewers have commented, customer service is excellent with many nice touches. Steve is clearly a man in love with watches and is great to chat to if you need some guidance. I recommend this company 100% and may even pay their website a return visit! Finally, at a time when watchmakers are getting very thin on the ground, Past2Present are doing a great job in preserving these skills- in case you need another reason to buy from them!
