If I can rate a negative I would.
The customer service at the store and the customer service online is absolutely ridiculous. It been almost 3 weeks of me waiting for my refund. Every single person I have spoken too gives me a different response because of an error someone made and apparently it takes this long to process a refund. Absolutely RIDICULOUS!!! Not to mention the online information being inaccurate when you get the store and product is not in stock but online states different.

Jessica a manager at the forum location did not want to replace my order of balloons. They failed to tell me the latex balloons only last for 6-8hrs.

I just want to Thank Destiny at the Raleigh Town Center Area for her EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I am from Atlanta and She made me feel SO WELCOMED!! Her knowledge of items was AMAZING. KUDOS DESTINY! Keep allowing GOD to use you! Ms Angie

Better off going to the grocery store to be honest. Look I'm all for Party City during Halloween time but other than that, there's not much you can't get for the same price or cheaper at the grocery store or by going online.

On top of this, going to the local Party City was a major hassle. The employees were miserable and the shelves were already bare when I got there. Nothing was in its place and prices were all incorrect when I got to the counter to check out.

Would I recommend Party City? If there are other choices, no I would not. But I can say that for certain seasons including Halloween, they do come through and that's the reason I give my 2 stars to them.

If there is an option to put a negative star, differently I would.
I bought rosegold plates for a bridal shower and other stuff from them, then I found out that there are scratches and broken pieces on the plates, so I went back to the store to return them but I did not have the receipt so they refused to return the items. I called the customer care, few days later, then emailed me the Receipt, so again I went back to the store and again they refused to return the items because there was no code on the receipt!!!. I AGAIN called the customer care and they could not help me to send me a new receipt with the code or return my money back, even though there is a barcode on the items.
It DOES NOT MAKE ANY SENSE, they won't return their damaged items if you do not have the receipt, I still have the barcode on the items yet they refused to return them. They won't return their defective products so that they can keep the money. Waste of time. BAD SERVICE.

Bought the light up birthday sash and it did not light up.

I just had a horrendous experience with a balloon delivery from Party City over the weekend for my son's birthday party. First, the balloons arrived after the estimated delivery time given when I ordered them. These were supposed to be the centerpieces and all of the balloon configuration was completely wrong. I wanted one mickey mylar balloon with 6 surrounding latex (one of each color - red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple) surrounding it. I got random numbers on each centerpiece with 2 of one color, 3 of another, etc. there was no consistency or anything close to resembling my specifications. The order then shows up in 2 deliveries from 2 different drivers half an hour apart. I could have dealt with all of that if the balloons didn't start popping within SECONDS OF BEING PUT ON THE TABLES. I had 8 centerpieces and was down to only 3 by the time the party started - 30 minutes after being delivered. It was an absolute mess. To top it off, I called party city 12 times during the course of the afternoon and had to leave messages. NEVER spoke to a customer service rep to make sure I could get replacements or my money back. I was left with no mylars and mismatched centerpieces. I would never recommend the delivery service or party city for balloons in the future. I know they have the price and convenience, but for a few dollars more I would go to another party supply store to ensure I have the correct order! They are a complete JOKE of a business.

Excellent service at Cedarhill. It was like I was walking around with a party planner. It is graduation time so they were all very busy but that did not stop them from delivering excellent service

Ordered a bunch of stuff for a Kentucky Derby Party, when I placed the order it indicated it would ship in a few days in advance of the derby, 5/7/22. On Wed I get an email saying it would come tomorrow, it fails to show up then or the following two days leaving me without any of the stuff I needed for the party, at this point it was also out of stock everywhere locally. The email was misleading. The tracking link is useless and just says out for delivery. The last update is a week old, signed up for the text updates, also useless and never received any updates.

I don't recommend ordering from this company. I ordered a big lot of cotton candy for a surprise celebration for my husband. Half of my order was shipped and arrived, the other half was put on hold with no explanation. I called customer service to cancel the remaining half of my order because i would not need the items AFTER the party. Their online service was "experiencing difficulties" so I could not cancel it myself. The cc used to pay for the order is in my hubbys name, but the items were shipped to ME, with MY address, the order was created under MY email, and I am a legal cardholder on the cc account. Party City refused to cancel the rest of MY order unless I have the birthday boy himself call to cancel it. So they refused to cancel it unless I ruined the birthday party surprise. Horrible customer service.

Recently, I created an account and set up a delivery in Rockford. Jim left me a voicemail confirming the details of the order and also informing me that they had run out of robin blue napkins, but that they could replace it with a comparable item in lavender. Also clarified how the arrangement would be put together. Appreciate this communication and the delivery was on time and the recipient was overwhelmed, truly touched and happy! THANK YOU for helping make someone's day super special! =)

I wanted to purchase a couple of balloons for my sisters 50th birthday. Wanted to surprise her and decorate the outside of her house before she got home from work. Thought it would cheer her up because her husband was recently diagnosed with stage four cancer and she didn't want to celebrate. The manager Delilah told me it would be a 40 minute wait to fill 2 balloons with helium because she had 2 orders in front of me. There was no one else in the store waiting so the orders were probably pick ups. I kindly told her the situation and since it was only 2 balloons asked if she could take a few seconds to fill. She was insensitive and heartless and did not care. Flexing her power said I'd have to wait. I couldn't wait and walked out in tears because I would not make it before my sister got home. I called a bit later to get her managers name and was told she could not give me that information. I can not believe how making a customer happy meant nothing to her or even caring to do something good for someone who was hurting greatly. It was heartbreaking to say the least. It was only 2 simple balloons and 2 seconds of her time to make someone's day special but instead showed how much she does not care about her customers. If Party City cares about their customers they would not have someone like Delilah working there, especially not a manager who will only drive customers away.

Horrible!!!! I placed an order with an expected delivery date and AFTER I paid it changed to the point it would be late... I called immediately and they said I could not cancel it!!!! DO NOT order through them

Absolutely disgraceful service. I ordered party decorations for my sons 1st birthday over a week in advance and paid extra for express delivery. As I write this my items have still not.arrived despite the customer service agent assuring me my order was out for delivery. My sons party had to be postponed once but in the end I had to go and buy more decorations. Completely unacceptable DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.

Omg..why didn't I read the reviews before ordering. Paid for the express delivery for my son's 5th birthday. We weren't able to celebrate his bday for 2 years because of the pandemic. So wanted to go big. No sign of the parcel. Tracking thing is not working..noone to contact. Party ruined or at least not what it was supposed to be. Shame on you. How on earth are you still in business is beyond my comprehension. And the rest of the reviews are heartbreaking. So many special occasions ruined. 👎👎👎👎

Hice un pedido y al rato el cole cambio la fecha y entonces no me llegaba total que avise por e-mail si lo podían anular ya que todavía no había salido, la contestación no porque ya está preparado para envío.. que más les dará anularlo si no ha llegado a salir... Me dicen que cuando venga el pedido que lo rechace y ya cuando llegue me harán el reembolso... Malísimos vaya.. cuando en otras tiendas no he tenido ningún problema al cancelar el pedido

Wish I could give zero stars, I picked up 36 helium filled balloons and they were laying in the floor about 4 hours later.
