I had been considering multifocal lens replacement surgery for a few years and had previously been for a consult with a large company but still didn’t have the confidence to go ahead. I went for a free consultation at Paragon with Mr Jenyon and was able to discuss my concerns. There was no pressure and a couple of months later I phoned and booked in for the procedure. Each eye was done two weeks apart. I was always treated in a friendly and professional manner and felt safe in their hands. The procedure was quick and fairly comfortable and staff were reassuring, I was prescribed/given a mild sedative which helped. My outcome is brilliant, I am free from my contact lenses and glasses now, I only wish I had done it sooner. All my enquiries along the way were answered quickly and the after care was good. Thank you to Mr Jenyon and the team for all your help and care.

I first visited Paragon Clinic March 2023 following disappointing treatment under the NHS.
From my first visit I felt I was in the hands of a professional, caring and efficient team.
I have since had a trabeculectomy and cataract removal which were both successful.
I can only thank Mrs Ranjit and her team for the amazing care I continue to receive and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Refractive Lens Exchange with extended depth of focus lenses has given me total independence from glasses for all my normal day to day activities. Mr Jenyon took time to answer my questions, I never felt rushed or pressured and went into surgery with complete confidence. A professional, friendly and supportive environment. An upper eyelid lift was completed after consultation, something I have been wanting for years but only when I found paragon did I feel comfortable and confident to do it. I have been with Paragon Clinic Shrewsbury since September 2022. I had serious glaucoma in my left eye and so had to have a trabulectomy with Mitomycin done in that November at the Stoke hospital as a day case. All my follow up treatments were back at Shrewsbury.
Following on from this I had Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty on my right eye, this being done at the Paragon Clinic.
Now due to the deterioration of my right eye I have had to have a PRESERFLOW MycroShunt with Mitomycin done in May of this year, this time actually at the Paragon Cinic in Shrewsbury which was so much easier. My after care is ongoing.
I can’t recommend the Shrewsbury Paragon Clinic highly enough. Having glaucoma, I found from day one that both the staff and my consultant/ surgeon Mrs Ranjit absolutely fantastic. They can’t have been more helpful, caring and efficient, nothing ever too much trouble.

The Paragon Clinic is located in a small neighbourhood centre, just outside Shrewsbury. There is a small supermarket, cafe, flower shop and a number of health practices. There is plenty of parking and a bus service. The Paragon Clinic, itself is modern with all professional and admin staff of the highest quality. Friendly, helpful and reassuring. The initial consultation is free, very thorough and detailed. I met Mr Jenyon "eye-to-eye" and he was unhurried and answered all questions. The actual surgery, some weeks later, was painless and exciting. Of course I was nervous but I was offered a relaxing tablet to be taken before surgery. The follow up telephone calls and then examination were equally thorough. Throughout the whole process I never felt pressured. I was treated like "family".

I was referred to The Paragon Clinic in Shrewsbury by my optometrist after he had diagnosed a cataract in my right eye. The cataract was preventing me from enjoying my hobbies of photography and astro photography. After the referral I was seen very promptly by Mr Jenyon and his excellent clinical staff and the cataract removal procedure was carried out within a couple of weeks. I was especially reassured when I discovered that Mr Jenyon had been trained by and worked closely with the leading opthalmic consultant who had saved the sight in my other eye following a serious retinal detachment. A very professional and caring service. I would particularly like to thank Mr Jenyon's specialist opthalmic nurse Morag who was especially caring and reassuring.

I’m incredibly grateful to Mr. Jenyon and his team at Paragon Clinic. The lens replacement surgery has truly been life-changing. I felt completely safe and supported throughout every step of the process. Mr. Jenyon took the time to explain the procedure as he performed it, which reassured me and made the experience far more comfortable.

Nothing but the highest praise for all the wonderful staff and consultants at Paragon. I was so squeamish and frightened but they treated me with such kindness and clear explanations from Mr Jenyon for the two cataract operations in Autumn 2023 and then Mr Sadhav for the ptosis treatment in February 2025 (after 3 cancellations on the NHS). Everyone is so friendly, professional and well organised. It's a very welcoming practice and you feel safe and cared for. So very big thanks to you all.

My Paragon experience started with a very friendly and helpful lady on Reception to arrange the appointment for laser treatment, and continued with all the staff I met on the day who instantly put me at ease.
