Engaging receptionist, cheerful helpfull radiographer and assistant

I had been referred by my Sports Physio, as I had been unable to get an MRI on the NHS despite suffering my symptoms for 2 years. I am so glad that I went privately.

The clinic is very well located and all of the staff were friendly and caring.

Great experience. Was apprehensive about having an MRI but the team at Oryon were fantastic.

Self-referral booking was easy, efficient, directions to the site very useful. Results came through quite quickly - maybe an email to say the full report was ready would have been helpful.

Paid £800 out of pocket for an MRI, as not insured. (Warning: prices on the website are all nonsense). Report took 2 days to come, which was a full extra day than promised and required chasing twice. Finally there was a problem with the scanner so there was no useful result, but despite them admitting it was their fault, then they won't provide another scan. Not even a discount. So a total waste of time and money.

15.8.25 update
As a follow up, 2 weeks later I was referred back to Oryon for a different scan (the one I’d actually requested first time, Oryon now admits - still charged fully of course). Again, they failed to deliver on their promise of a report within 1 working day. Again it had to be chased.

Highly recommend Oryon Imaging ! Their facilities and equipment are of the highest standard. I am at the age now to be able to compare. Remarkable cleanliness and hygiene standards. Friendliness as well as professionalism of all staff members also impresses. The location at Wimpole Street can be accessed with ease.
Having researched whats on offer in this regard in London, I couldn‘t be happier having chosen Oryon ! Oryon‘s pricing is fair, website is user friendly and the staff including „behind the scenes“ support, such as the Consultant Radiologist who reported (written) findings and recommendations, couldn’t have been more helpful.

My 10-year-old daughter was terrified of having an MRI. Even though I was there, she was taken in and came back out crying. I'm grateful to the Oryon staff. They did everything they could to convince my daughter and performed the MRI. They spent at least an hour talking to my daughter and explaining the procedure. Even though it was very crowded, they didn't ignore us. Thank you very much, ORYON.

From the lovely receptionist to the music playing in reception which helps relax you. Once I was in the MRI room,the 2 chaps made me feel really relaxed with there manner which is both professional and approachable… felt very at ease..cheers all

Incredibly fast and simple. Got my doctor's referral, uploaded it, had an appointment the next day, and in and out in 5 minutes. Scan pictures were available immediately (not that I can view them) with a report shortly thereafter. Highly recommended.
