Professional and courteous. I have mobility issue due to injury. I requested for a wheelchair from the entrance,and the MRI Technician kindly wheeled me into the MRI unit. The MRI procedure took around 40 minutes. The Technician spent extra time and effort to get more clarity of the images, to ensure an accurate diagnosis. I received the report in 3 working days, and the clinician on call clearly explained the report to me. The booking process for the scan is also straightforward.

They are very efficient at taking your money. Thereafter things don’t work very well.
Communication was slow prior to the booking of my x-ray. I had to complain via trustpilot to get any action.
Then you have the problems of getting a copy of your x-ray. It is a week from the date of my x-ray and, when I had finally got into my portal I find that they still haven’t posted my x-ray there. I have an appointment with my consultant tomorrow and, as a result, I can’t send him the results of the x-ray so he is working blind. The whole reason for going privately was to get my knee and hip pain diagnosed and treated quickly but these people can’t do the simple thing of getting the scan transferred to my portal so I can see my consultant.
And then, to add insult to injury they are very quick in asking me to give feedback on their service.
Hopefully this feedback will make it through trustpilot and won’t be challenged with obfuscation and threats to have it removed if I don’t provide specific information.
I definitely would not use these people again.
And if you read their response below, they really don’t understand what I am saying. Time and again I ask for the scan image not just the verbal report as my consultant wants to see the actual scan rather than look at another persons opinion on it. But they continue to defend themselves by saying we have the report.
And, they still haven’t managed to get the scan onto my portal and are now saying it could be seven days before they manage to get it there. As a result it is likely my consultant meeting will be a further waste of time and money.
My conclusion remains - I would never use these people again.

From start to end the dealings I had with this company were painful.
I requested, paid for and booked in an abdominal mri, was called back by the 'clinician' that day and was told an ultrasound would be better. I was told I would be referred to a different hospital as the original one booked didn't carry out ultrasounds. I waited a week, kept chasing to be told that the referral had been sent and the hospital would contact me. A week later, I called the hospital directly (even though you are told not to do this) they told me that they had only received the referral that day!!
I was booked in for my ultrasound the following day. Then followed an anxious 4 day wait for the results..... which turned out to be pretty pointless as it pancreas was obscured by bowel gas and couldn't be seen on the scan anyway. The whole point of my having the scan was to look at the pancreas due to my close family history of pancreatic cancer
I then googled, and apparently up to 50% of ultrasound scans are unsuccessful on the pancreas as its behind the stomach area with lots of gas. It was completely the wrong type of scan to have and I don't know why they would have changed me to this type of scan
So, I'm a lot of £££ down and still no wiser.
Edit: scan.com uk tried to flag this review as not genuine, even though they have all my details. Clearly they don't care that they are giving terrible service and advice

Very efficient, excellent comms, scanned within a few days at a price I thought was reasonable. Results were explained to me and the report generated has 2 copies, one with the medical words and one with Automated links that explains them which I found very useful

I booked an abdominal and pelvis CT scan online with Scan.com, and initially my experience was positive. I received a call from a consultant on the same day, which was reassuring. Unfortunately, this is where the positive experience ended.
I was told to wait for a call to arrange an appointment with Taunton Hospital, but after almost a week of hearing nothing, I decided to contact the hospital myself. I had little confidence that anyone would follow up otherwise.
I had my scan on 27/03, but then had to wait until 17/04—three weeks—for my results. During this time, I emailed and called both Scan.com and the hospital multiple times, but only received generic responses such as “we’re not sure why there is a delay” and that I simply had to wait.
I paid £720 for this private CT scan, which is a significant amount of money for me. I chose to go private because I was in pain and expected a quicker process to help address my health concerns as soon as possible. In hindsight, I feel I would have been better off using the NHS scan that my GP had already arranged.
When the report finally arrived, it was very basic and lacked sufficient detail. The follow-up call with the specialist was also disappointing—there was no real consultation, just a reading of the report.
Overall, I feel very frustrated and let down by the entire experience.

All people I dealt with was very knowledgeable which gave me confidence. Plus mri scan and feed back all in four days. Only problem is I’m 77 and not sure how to download the results but that is not your problem
