Don't do it.

FIrst of all it will dry out your tender under eye area - and that's bad. Second of all - if it was that good - why wold they need high pressure? Because it's a lie. Just keep asking your sales associate why it works - the science. They can't answer. You can't rub on collagen - if you could you'd see it everywhere. And why would you buy a 2 year supple of ANYTHING? what's the average life of cosmetics? 3-6 months? The real science is that your skin will adjust and it will not work after a few weeks. Then you're left feeling like an idiot that wasted at least $300. The company sells this stuff where vulnerable people go or where people have too much money to spend - or they're drunk - casinos and county fairs. Get a good moisturizer if you want a routine. $20 at your drugstore. You don’t need this crap.

Fancy shop, product smells suspicious

Firstly I have to say I give 1 star only because the stuff felt great on my skin when tested but that’s as far as it goes. I highly doubt it does what they claim. 0 stars on selling pitch. I was walking down Passeig the Gracia in Barcelona today and I was feeling so happy to be back I’m my home town after 2 long years!
I was soaking in the sun and the vibes and suddenly this woman that kind of reminded me of Deborah Harry ( she was Russian I think ) was standing outside this fancy shop and she handed this free sample. The next thing I know she was luring me inside the shop with a promise of a free gift. I know very well that that nothing is free but I was in such a good easy mood I went in to see what she had to show…and indeed she tried very very hard to sell me “gold” in a fancy bottle that was very organic and would make my face look amazing and there was me thinking “how come gold is now a organic ingredient good for your skin ?” But I found her very amusing until I said I had no money and I was in a bit of a hurry , then she suddenly gave me a very bitchy nasty look . The male salesman tried with “ you get what you pay for “ and when he realised I was not going to fall for it he also gave up with a very mean look. The shop is impressive, all white and gold , but there is something not right about it. It was comical and interesting seeing these two hustlers at work . They didn’t ruin a perfect afternoon but made me think that if I was remotely thinking of coming back to purchase they totally ruined it by that let’s call it “approach “ I think the complete package was something like €180. Her talk was rushed and borderline aggressive , She kept saying I had to sing up right now, there , now or never… not all that glitters...I would never spend my money in a place/ product like this. Adiós Orogold.

Orogold Review

Orogold’s termica activation serum felt very smooth on my skin, it was like a gel primer but in the form of skin care product. It really affected the fine line all over my face and now I’m looking forward to get this product again.

Plaza las Americas Puerto Rico

Plaza las Americas, today. I am not a mall person, but had to go to T Mobile and passed this store. The beautiful girl in the hall offered me samples, which I got today simply because I was feeling so happy. I am just not a mall person.

But today I had just come back from my oncologist’s appointment and had wonderful news to celebrate from my last results. So I made an exception. I thought I would treat myself.

Celebrate with the world! So I thought! So I went in, doing something I would never normally do.

The kid that pitched me was very cute and nice and put some product on my eyes, lid, etc that felt like rubber. I told him so.

He continued his pitch. I really have no problem with my lines or beauty but became curious in the store. I asked for the ingredients. No information. Animal testing? Neither.

I noticed the store was empty, not a good sign.

Anyway, I had a nice talk with the kid that presented himself as an expert, which I totally dont buy, but continued listening. I then told him/ enough- put it everything in writing and give me prices and products.

He insisted on offers, but I declined. He was not giving prices, and that is always a bad sign.

Anyway, I was about to leave when he showed me the light treatments and “evaluation”. How can people that Re surely unlicensed, definitively not doctors or healthcare professionals claim that a (red??) light cures arthritis? or erases spots? or treats illnesses? He showed me the FDA approved stamp to which I said- the FDA can probably approve a lot of junk.

But then he showed me the first pictures of success stories from the light treatments-! I told him, this is not for real! a woman that had millions of lines and suddenly appears with a puffed face! Not for real, or surgery.

And I laughed but he continued to show me more normal pics. I was about to leave and then comes the manager with another fabulous deal, for just thousands of dollars!! or...hello!!? such sliding prices! last offer was about $58 for one cleanser with the promise of an evaluation and I dont know what else. He said this is the most wonderful deal, I said its a 60 bucks soap.

The manager insisted on the ultimatum and special treatment tactic. And is was no fun anymore. Over the top and nonstop, I had to decide then and there this or that. I said, look- I am leaving right now, I do not make rash decisions and do not appreciate ultimatums. But he persisted!!

I took pictures of the products to check it out online. I thanked them and left. I really liked the saleskid. He seemed like a nice person (not the manager!). I think nobody in their sane mind would pay thousands of dollars for a cream! That is something I wont even pay my doctors!

Coming out of my great news celebration day I have to say I am sorry for the kid. I wish he can find a better job in something more creative and constructive. Art classes. Poetry. Something to develop his talents and porential.

BTW, I was never going to buy anything. I am not bothered or insecure about the lines in my face pr my appearance, but I have to say I felt the pressure and the manipulation.
I think middle aged women like myself are targets for these companies that exploit women’s sense of beauty, insecurities, self esteem, wrong ideas. And just imagine if I had been someone else, coming from the doctor, giving these people your hard earned money needed gor your treatments or uour health? Battling life threatening diseases. Battling life.

How can they do this? How can they sleep at night. Why? At these prices? The pitch was solid manipulation and almost NO real information. Make believe.

In a world of pandemia where people have been jobless ( its been hard on everyone!) Its beyond unconscious. Its baffling.

I really hope the young people that work there dont believe that stuff. This scam directed to women to exploit their fears and vulnerabilities. As if we needed more of that!!

Dont waste your time. Or your money. Dont waste your life. You are beautiful because you are beautiful. You dont have to prove it. Or be shamed. Or used. Aging is not a curse, its a stage in life. A blessing.

And if you want to invest thousands in a cream, do it because you made that decision freely, not because you were manpulated and coerced into it.

A total SCAM

Hi everyone, a new scammed person here, while visiting Barcelona in a holiday week last month.

You can read here in the real comments what this company is about. Of course do not trust those comments written by themselves or by clients they bribe with promises of free treatments. (You will recognize them, because they invariably have 5 stars and give no details in their "opinion").

There is plenty of information in Internet about their techniques, manipulation and abuse.

I found an updated source of information and I have already contacted the people behind it. It feels better to know that you are not alone. It is a blog by wordpress named deadseascam: deadseascam . wordpress . com

THIS IS HOW U DO IT (from NYC )

Hullo everyone from NYC! I am saddened and sickened ,reading the experiences from the multitude of decent people who've been- or attempted to have been- taken advantage of by this company!. As a New Yorker, this reprehensible approach is all too common. My experience: Strolling through a high-end shopping area in Manhattan. I wasn't shopping, but I wasn't in a rush either. As I meander down the block, a handsome young man pops out of a shop, immediately starting his Pitch with... "hi! You're absolutely gorgeous! But you look a bit tired. Would you allow me to offer you a respite in our spa- starting with sparkling water and some hydrating cream for your beautiful eyes? (Now, being from NYC, I already knew what this was going to lead to).... so, having an hour to spare, and feeling a bit fiesty, I entered the shop, smiled & nodded and answered his questions as they applied the samples on my face and hands. I said "oooh so lovely, but I'll have to call my husband to buy this product " (while it did feel nice and buttery on my skin, I wasn't about to shell out $200, or ANY amount for that matter).... they went on to implore me in half a dozen ways, running the gamut from feminism to punishing my "stingy husband " for not pampering me enough ".... etc etc etc.... folks, I'm used to this BS, & I ALWAYS come out winning and I just want to expose these scammers for who they are.... TAKE THE FREE SAMPLE & DEMONSTRATION, & say adios! I know it can be difficult with the pressure they put on you- so, take anything you can get outta them & tell them you need to run home and grab your Amex. Or whatever. Don't let these vultures eat your dollars.

Orogold Review

I had very dull and rough skin for a long time; I started applying OroGold’s 24K deep moisturizer for a week and the roughness from my skin started fading away, almost a month later my skin was transformed from dull to bright and it was well nourished as well.

NO ENTREIS NUNCA.

OROGOLD PRODUCTS NOT WORTH IT!

Palm Desert, Calif., U.S.A. On vacation, coaxed into the store for OROGOLD, spent over $600.00 Cdn. When product was empty wanted to get more out of jar, so husband opened jar only to find a false bottom in it. The amount in the jar was far less than quoted on the outside. I wrote to the company on 4 separate occasions and to date they have not replied. This is a scam, false advertising, product doesn't work either. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM OROGOLD! Customer Service doesn't reply to your emails, don't waste your money.

Be careful when dealing with this company

Orogold products and other products that company pitches are sold at Resveralife stores here in Canada where I live, and my experiences with that company have been largely negative. Last year, I became a customer of Resveralife in the Erin Mills Town Centre shopping mall in Mississauga in Canada where I live. I was at the mall taking care of some errands and was walking by the Resveralife store when I was enticed inside with a free skincare sample. I ended up buying a heating skin care machine wand with red light therapy after being smooth talked into it by one of their salespeople, given some free product, and was promised free facials every 3 months for 18 months. To make a long story short, please be very careful when doing business with this company. The products are good, but they are overpriced. The sales reps will try to get you to sign up for an awful payment plan with inflated interest rates, and they mislead you about that. I managed to get my payment plan changed to a more reasonable one, but I shouldn't have been deceived in the first place. I never got all my facials that I was promised, and the facials that I did get at the store were disguised opportunities used by the sales reps to try pressure me to buy their other more expensive machines that I do not need and will not buy. Not once during my facials did any of the sales people mention my skin type (I have combination skin). I like the skincare products and I don't regret buying those (lotions, toners, etc.) but the sales tactics at Resveralife are very dishonest, and that sours the experience of using the products. I question whether any of their sales reps are licensed estheticians, and if they're not, they shouldn't be working on people's faces. If this company changed their marketing approaches, they would probably gain more consumer confidence because the products are very good. However, I will not be shopping there again because of the dishonest and unethical sales tactics, and in the past few weeks it has become clear to me that this company is pushing an agenda that has nothing to do with helping to meet customers' needs.
