Amazing Customer Service - Laura Leonard
I spoke with Laura Leonard, first through online chat and then she arranged to call me at a time convenient to me. Laura called me on time and was very friendly, patient and answered all of my questions. Laura even gave me her direct dial in case any other household members had any queries. Once I was ready to proceed, Laura kindly guided me through the process through message and email, and offered to ring me if necessary - she was always on the other end of the phone and would respond within seconds. Laura's customer service was amazing, which is one of the main reasons I chose to go with One Utility. I cannot fault her and hope she gets some well deserved recognition!

Brilliant help from Josh W. at Oneutility
Myself & my 4 housemates had 12-mth bills package with Oneutility & each were supposed to pay mthly amount into our house account, covering our elec, water and internet (no gas at our house). Due to some of my housemates overpaying & some underpaying during the 12 mths, at end of our tenancy, I had a tough time finalising our account with Oneutility. Josh W. from Oneutility was absolutely brilliant!! He took time to listen to problems I had; explained what pymts had been made during 12 months & how much was still owing/why & sent an explanatory e-mail to each of my housemates, which made an enormous difference & greatly helped me resolve everything with them! He also gave me a quote for my next property, but purely for cost reasons, we ended up going with a different option. Thank you very much Josh!!

Caution, do not sign up!
Easy set up but, actual value for money isn't that great. My bills are up by £30 more every month now. And apparently I had unlimited energy usage and a cap on them for 12 months. I'm disappointed and will be changing that soon as my contract ends.
Payment of £236!!!! For two bedroom house with only Two people.
I never paid that much for my 4bed house!
I'm very disappointed.

Do not use one utility bill
Do not use one utility bill, I was talked in to using them by the rental company, what a con.
I gave all my readings in when I vacated in mid May 2026,they then swiftly took 2 months from my bank totalling just over £600 even though we were rarely in the property so we should be in front, I have phoned countless times to find out where my refund is and all I get is they are waiting for Octopus energy to finalise the bill, I contacted Octopus and they had informed me that the account was settled on 7th July 2026, when I contacted one utility they said they were still awaiting from Octopus energy, when I told them I had been in touch with them they said they would investigate further.. I later got a text asking me not to contact Octopus energy again.
One utility are very very quick to take your money, and very reluctant to give what is owed, it is 24th September and still no settlement in site.
Would they wait over 5 months for payment?

Thank you for your feedback. We understand your frustration regarding the time it is taking to finalise your account and issue any refund due.
As we have confirmed with you, we are currently awaiting an official response from your electricity supplier. This is not a matter of reluctance on our part to return any money owed; we are simply bound by supplier response times and cannot settle an account until the energy provider officially confirms the final balance on their end.
While we appreciate that this process is taking longer than expected, our team is actively chasing the supplier to get this resolved as quickly as possible. Once the final figures are formally confirmed by them, any remaining balance will be processed promptly.

Terrible company
Terrible company, they don't pay your bills so when your contract ends nobody will let you switch until the bills have been paid, eventually they'll pay it but then you get a bill with one utility bill on it that these guys will NOT pay even if its not much, if they had paid the bills then I could have got everything sorted once the contract ended, never again will I ever go back to these guys

Overcharges you, line always disconnects when you ring up only way I got through to someone was ringing on a house line at my parents. Would not recommend this company to any of my family or friends.

Regarding your concern about charges, we take any potential billing discrepancies seriously. Because we cannot access individual account details on a public forum, please contact us via support@oneutilitybill.co to discuss this further and we can investigate.
In terms of call wait times, this is currently our busiest period of the year, so naturally, our call queues are significantly higher than normal. During peak demand, high call volume across our teams can result in longer wait times and occasional disconnections which we do apologise for.
